Old EW RP Argument Thread! :D

No, Kargeth fell even before EW ended and only Edessa was established. Edessa was its own settlement and not exactly Kargeth, compared to Ilthilien and Blackfyre which had multiple settlements and were much bigger than Edessa.

The difference is that akam did not have any knowledge of how rp would work when he founded Kargeth (I observed Blackfyre for a bit before casting my lots with dwight and Ilthilien, then a very small faction about the size of reddagger), and he was too hotheaded. Obviously Blackfyre and Ilthilien were not happy.[/quote]
But I learned from my mistakes unlike you guys and established a successful faction on RP Guilds that was one of the most powerful cities on the server(sadly got banned for leading a RP religion war alongside this other powerful city against Kingsreach because we raided and killed too many heretics and burned a lot of the admin buildings down, but it was an amazing RP experience considering how strict the server was on RP.) Unlike some of the Ilthilien(*cough*cookie, michael, dwight*cough*) leaders, I learned from my mistakes and learned how having big factions is not everything and it is more about the RP experience. From my experience on Atherys with Ilthilien, I think you guys are still RP noobs as you guys chatted in OOC so much and were more focused on factions pvp. Whenever I asked to roleplay, you guys would say that you guys were too busy and I left the stupid faction to go to a better town(Perry's Pelargir.) Also, I decided that having one beautiful city like Edessa on EW RP was better than being wide spread between 2-3 towns/cities.[/quote]

DO NOT MENTION OTHER SERVER NAMES I DO NOT WANT U BANNED (although you sometimes can be a bit annoying :P)

1. A stupid faction does not last longer than all of your 3 factions combined
2. Ilthilien has redefined itself, as of now it is not an RP faction as we have to be more pragmatic to survive as a faction (We build our city first)
3. Your factions were not as successful as you imagined. Sure, Ilthilien is weak now, but we have taken much more than you guys. Where is Kargeth? Where is Valinor?

1. Too much political correctness. Blackfyre was named after a sword.
2. Blackfyre and Ilthilien are allies. Or would be allies if blackfyre still existed.
3. Ilthilien is a government of an area/town. In all societies you will find different types of people. We will help them but in the end their choice, we will not force people to rp although there would be rp areas.

Reddagger does not have to listen to akam. If it is associated with a particular empire it is Ilthilien. (Similar in loads of respects except Ilthilien is bigger and is permanently settled down)

I got banned so my clan fell apart after 3 months. Cookie, I asked a lot of other Ilthilien members to role play, and they didn't . Michael, the point of role play is to do it all the time, not build your stupid city first.[/quote]

Well, it's your fault that you got banned and thus the reason why Valinor fell. Poor decisions.


And don't tell me a faction is all about RP experience. If you haven't noticed *censored server name* is a mix of certain types of gameplay: PvP, RP and Trading. We're forced to make a few measures because of the PvP aspect, which keeps us busy, means that we don't have all the time the RP happily. (Reason why I'm against hybrid servers with RP and PvP)

The server they play on is only partly Roleplay based. Players on the server have a choice to Roleplay.
 
Well you got yourself banned so its also your fault. Also your clan began falling apart approximately a week after I went inactive, and Ilthilien's Council Chamber Crisis happened a week or two after i went inactive too. Notice a pattern?

And yes the server we are on is not pure rp. Unfortunately not that many are pure RP, Ilthilien has to redefine itself. I am currently finding a solution to this.
 
I think we can all agree that without Blackfyre fighting and holding the line against demon incursions, the whole of Arpenia would have been F*cked! And how did we get repaid for holding the line against these un-holy creatures? We are blamed for everyone else's problems! No wonder we snapped and burned Ithilia and Forlond to the ground!
 
Basically we had like 5-15 people(depends what time it was) defending our capital against 500-2000 mobs(possibly more).
 
Yup I still got mah Gding pic of them. (Thnx Only_) I mean really. All we wanted to do was a build a f.cking market. I wanted to build an inn. how do I get repayed. ithilia blowing up mah inn, and the archer hq ( they blew that up twice.) You guys were not cool.

The Inn got rebuilt and put under my command for a week or so, until they realized I was just a spy. :3

HOw would I know? when I got on, there were only two signs; one said Don't mess with Ithilien the other saying WE SET TRAPS TOO
