But guys, you donated to keep The server up and The classes you Got we're a sort of bonus for the donation, Tim didn't just ask that money for fun, he asked it to keep up The server for A long time

I fail to remember Conwy players complaining about Rockslide taking thousands of Euros per month from the server to pay his rent.

And yeah, you seem to think only the server cost. Website cost? Age of War, RP, RPG,Arcade and LMS, LS and Wanted cost? Sure these servers opened and closed at different stages but nonetheless (most) had a negative impact.
But yeah, this was all mainly because of EULA and for everybody to mass donate wouldn't work. We'd struggle to survive the next month and next and the next. So no point to stop the inevitability. I wager Tim has money, that he has in reserve to keep the server up and running for a few more months - but is it worth it? No.

Fair enough, but I think that tim made some less wise financial decisions by opening LMS, LS and especially RPG Arcade and Age of War. The latter 3 were frankly doomed from the start.
But ya, EW is doomed after this summer anyway for various reasons which I don't wanna list. Better let it go out on a high point.

lms and ls always had a good quote of players, it was entairning and sometimes there were more peoples on lms than on siege...
also they were a part of the beginnning of the server, i remember that i passed a lot of time there when i started playin EW

A true nub speaking when they say LS and LMS was doomed. Most everyone loved them it's just Tim decided to replace them.[/quote]
If you look closely he only meant RPG, Arcade and AoW were doomed. And yeh, try to refrain from name callin'.

I'm sorry if my wording is unclear. What I meant was that LS and LMS were less good from a financial perspective but only because Tim didn't adequately develop them, not because they weren't good servers. I enjoyed them as much as you guys did. Those two could have worked, but Tim wasn't developing it well enough.
However, RPG, Arcade and AoW were doomed from the start and frankly a bit insulting to the community. AoW was far too similar to EW to actually work, and I think Tim's plan to 'migrate' to AoW caused backlash instead. Arcade simply wasn't interesting enough for siege players, while RPG server was kinda rubbing it in our faces regarding the lost RP server. I thought the content wasn't interesting, but frankly even if it were I wouldn't have played on it.
Anyway sorry for the confusion but I was in a hurry, and hence made it into two lists.

Yeah but the vast majority did. I assume you donated to help the server then, right?
You should keep in mind that the difference between a 16GB and a 32GB dedicated server is so minor that it didn't harm economically to have a few more servers. It would save like 30$/mo if we removed LMS, LS, Arcade, AOW, Event and Hub altogether, so for the fun we've had with those I think it was worth those slight costs.

Yeah, I'm sorry I wasn't too clear about this. The problem with giving a clear date is that there's always people who just miss out by a few days. Anyways, it's mainly the donations in July that got refunded (Since you still had 2 months to play with your new rank, and these people less than a month)
