Ah, that would be cool. I've been on RP servers before that have season plugins and they really helped the overall gameplay experience, it was also pretty cool being able to harvest, clear snow from the roofs and other season influential things. We should add this!
 
The Neverwinter Effect is a monthly event where in the Neverwinter Free To Play(I played it 4 months ago)people started dancing in an inn without armor and in a weird and funny way.
 
Moved to Minecraft (Off-Topic), the RP section of this Forum is dedicated to Forum RP, not Server RP.
 
With everyone spread all over Middle-Earth, I've a feeling that it could lead to people being bored and thus leaving (their faction).

In theory, we would have a large playerbase, we would be active, call it how you like it.

The first two weeks will be like that. A bunch of activity. However after that, it slowly decrease. The rate of the descreasing depends on how the server works. If the server is all about one small area, thus a lot of people in a small area, not a lot of people would leave. However, if you would stretch the area out, you would notice that quite some people would either leave the server or their current base. (Which results in inactive factions)


Trust me, I've more then enough experience with it.
 
Ok, I agree with Riko on the fact that Mercenary sounds better than King. I'm going to go for special officer of the army of Isengard. Basically a Mercenary but completely and totally loyal to Isengard.
 
I'm not going to say much about the actual server.
Just know that all 4 of these points are irrelevant and don't have anything to do with OUR rp server.

It won't be another "factions building server with a custom world", it will be more MMO styled like WynnCraft.

WynnCraft isn't based on Middle-Earth.
Our map will be Middle-Earth, so it will all be geologically correct.
