if frodo leaves he could just die and other person would take the ring
He leaves and insta dies , so the last one to hit him gets the ring
or he could just drop it to a friend

True enough. But what if all the fellowship left?! :P
 
like Anaaron u got 100 players (evil) and 20 fellowshipers (very strong soldiers) if any of them leave someone get their role.
if they die they cant respawn , and would join evil that respawns
 
Maybe an War for putting Morgoth in the void with ungoliant's babies ,balrogs, maiars , ainurs, elves , orcs , dragons, trolls , giants ..........

Well I was thinking more of the fellowship being just 9 people with gear that matches the character they are, for example gimli with dia armor but slowness, and legolas with power 3-4 bow and speed but weak armor and so forth, and then there would be the normal good soldiers, with just iron armor and stuff that technically can defend the fellowship but they'd be leaving the fortresses open for attack.
 
I'd do a small modification on Jack's idea. Instead of having a build event, there should be 24 hrs time to build a fortress/citadel/castle or what ever else, some materials should be given, like tools(iron or diamond) and resources like a double chest of wood, cobble and stone.

No it's really not. Yours is mobs v. players and is mostly the Gondor-Mordor fighting. This would be an almost all of middle earth battle.

The only problem with my idea is there would have to be a good 100 people playing and it would probably take like 3-4 hours to finish, and what if Frodo had to leave?! D:[/quote]
no. more like 12 hours if we are doing like 12+ flags per team at the start. i have played games with tons and tons of flags. (about 30 on the map) you spend 10 hours only to find that your still at the same place you started.....
