VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

The dragon grumbled as he answered Elas questions one by one "Gondor, Ela, by the sea." He answered the last question with a sigh, then glad that Ha'zi decided to keep her busy.

Dimitri reached it within ten minutes. It was quite an establishment. The North-South road ran straight through it and many houses occupied it in a linear fashion. Most of the houses were residential, of course, but Dimitri saw a few stalls, though they were closed for the night with no one attending them. He saw some stables behind a saloon which was quite active with many people in it. Laughter seeped through the windows and door a few men left, walking past Dimitri on their way out.

"I can't read." Ela said, touching the front cover of the book. "Momma never taught me."

Cardiloc saw the rolling hills of Pinnath Gelin far in the distance and a couple towns and villages had lights on during the cold night. His dragon eyes picked them out. He was camouflaged in the darkness of night and didn't have to worry about onlookers or bystanders.

The raven-haired woman turned to her associate and said something. The red-haired one shouted at Grimnir, "If you want a fight, I can give you one. But there's no point. Someone important wants to speak with you. Very important. More important than Erebor. He wants to make a deal. Your aid in return for the safety of the Dwarves in the coming war. So, what'll it be, Destroyer?" She said.

He ironically thinks about it, "I prefer myself, over the Dwarven kin. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a Mountain to visit." Grimnir's stubborness spoke, and he took a large tree, ready to throw would they feel triggered

"No wonder your mom got kidnapped, illiterate scum Oh, uh, well, you can look at the pictures if you want. Or i could read it to you." He suggests.

Ela grabbed the book and found there were no pictures. Books never had pictures. Not in these days. Only a couple drawings and scriptures. She looked at them, asking, "What's that?" Pointing at a baby mumak.

There was one man sleeping on duty at the stall.

The raven-haired woman nudged her accomplice, "Do it." before disappearing suddenly. The red-haired one slit her palm with a rock and Grimnir was blinded by an explosion of light and steam.

When it dissipated he saw...another Giant?! It was bony and red in colour with a horrifying skull that had a huge horn protracting from its forehead. It's body was slim and it was fifteen meters, maybe larger with muscular tendons running along its entire body. It's fists were like swords, long-bladed bone-like extensions in the place of hands. Before he could even throw the tree, the thing pounced towards him, jumping with extreme agility at Grimnir.

"Should settle down soon, get some rest for tonight." Card reasoned, continuing to fly until he found the capital of Pinnath Gelin on the horizon.

As Thoruk opens his eyes he sits up and looks around. "So it was no dream after all." he mumbles as he grabbes what was brought to him and starts to eat and drink.

Sigeric smiled. "Aelwin! It is good to finally see a familiar face. I deeply regret not being here in Dale's time of need, and my whereabouts over the past twenty years are a long story. Perhaps we can discuss it later, over a flagon of ale. Anyways, you know that I'm not a witch, nor a sorcerer. The good prince must be tired, after dealing with so many meetings. He deserves a bit of rest." He feigned a nervous expression. "You're not going to burn me, are you?"

Dimitri had two choices: kill the man and steal the horse or just steal the horse. To escape bloodshed, he picked the second. He enters the stables, picks a horse, and rides out as quickly as he can.

Ha'zi explained to her, "That's a baby Mumakil. It's about your size or a bit smaller. The adult ones are really big, bigger than Card right now."

The javelin ricochets off the bone around her eyes and bounced off as she came down on Grimnir with all her might. The last thing Grimnir saw before his eyes went black was a giant boney sword smashing into his skull at full speed, taking out his eyes. He was blind. He could feel pain all across the Giant body. He was on the floor and getting shredded by whatever in the void this thing was.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He heard its scream as light began to stream into the nape of the Destroyer. What had happened? He was exposed?! Looking up Grimnir saw the thing, its teeth holding a chunk of flesh and watched her spit it out before opening her jaws above him. He had no control over the Giant body and only then did he realized the Destroyer was headless. It was him, as a dwarf against her. He felt Durin's axe on his back, if only he could free himself from the fleshy skin tying him to his Giant body. Her mouth was open, coming down upon him. She was going to eat him?!

Dimitri found a sprightly doughy-coloured mare and got out of the stables without waking the sleeping Rohirrim. He rode the entire night, the thoughts of his parents being tortured lingering in his mind. It was dawn the next day and his horse was slowing down, seemingly too tired to continue. He had made amazing progress and found a couple of towns nearby. It seemed he had passed most of the Westfold and was nearing the West Emnet. He recognized the lands from his previous travels and saw a town close by. New Framsburg. It had a nice bar and one inn with a kind old lady who owned the place.

The township of Calin Brun sat a top a hill some fifty leagues from the sea. Card saw it from high in the sky. It was the capital settlement in Pinnath Gelin and should be alright for them to settle in. However, they had no coin left and their camping supplies were still with Ha'zi. Dimitri had taken his own with him and left the food, meaning they still had a bit, although it was quite moldy at this point. And soggy from some of the rains.

"Woah, really? Bigger than Card the Dragon?" Ela asked, astonished at this information.

The food filled him like no other. Dwarven bacon. Oh Mahal. Thank you. It was like experiencing the best meal in the world for the first time, all over again. Thoruk's belly was filled by the end of it. Would he leave the chambers and seek out his father or the King?

"Na." Aelwin said before leaving through a doorway near the left corner of the wall.

"YES, TAKE HIM NOW. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Luincrist cried, standing up, "FINE. I'LL DO IT MYSELF." He unsheathed a dagger and approach Sigeric, "I'm gonna make you into a nice rug, Witch." He proclaimed before lunging at Sigeric, dagger in hand. The guards did nothing to stop Sigeric or Prince Luincrist.

Ha'zi was enjoying this conversation with Ela. He had always wanted a younger sibling, one he could talk to and go hunting with. Ha'zi wished this talkative girl had been his sister back in Harad. "Yep, way bigger. Taller than the tallest trees. And i would know, I've seen one myself."

Dimitri wanted a drink and a nice meal before he kept up the ride east. He tied up his horse near the tavern and entered with his warhammer and bundle slung over his back.

If the dagger was aimed at his torso, Sigeric would allow the blade to deflect off of the metal plates of his armor. If it was aimed at an unprotected part of his body, he would raise his hand to catch the blow. If Luincrist's attack managed to wound Sigeric, he would focus his mind on not transforming.

"Really?" She asked, her eyes widening, "Where? What's your name again? Haaazil? Where did you live?"

Card saw that the hilly regions would make good hunting for rabbits, however, he didn't have the correct equipment for such an endevour. Additionally, it was night so none of the diurnal animals would be awake at this point.

The mare dropped down and went to sleep.

Inside the tavern was nearly empty. It was quite early and only a young lady was up. A blonde lass who waved at Dimitri as he walked in.
"Want a drink, fella? Some breakfast?" She seemed to read his mind.

Durin's axe smashed into the bone and cleaved straight through it. A surprise to her. But Grimnir was nothing but a dwarf at this point. Her jaw clamped down on him, closing the light off to the outside world and enveloping him. Grimnir felt intense pain. His arms and legs had been bitten off and only his limbless torso remained inside the mouth of this beast. He saw Durin's axe get stuck in one of her gums but he couldn't grasp it. He was bleeding profusely from his stumped limbs and slowly began to heal. Next thing he knew she spat him out onto the ground. Grimnir had been Anakin-Skywalkered beaten by this woman. He saw her Giant staring down at him with dark eyes and slowly it fell to the ground and she emerged from it, climbing down its shoulder, waking down its arm and hitting the ground next to Grimnir. She wasn't even a woman, he began to see, but some girl. A young red-headed freckle-faced cunt had beaten the legendary dwarf in a one on one. What had become of Arda?

She strode over to Grimnir and looked down on him, almost with pity. "You really should've come easy." The other woman appeared. She was a real woman. Tall and fierce. A warrior of sorts. She placed her boot on Grimnir's face and laughed, "So, this is the great Destroyer Giant. Ha. That was laughably easy. Too easy." She kicked Grimnir's beard. "Like pain, beardie?"

Marco was at the breakfast table being served scrumptious cookies by the cook. Erland was reading a book in the corner, already dressed for the day and having eaten his breakfast. Iver saw there was an assortment of poultry, eggs, milk in a flagon, vegetables cut up into a salad and a fresh fruit basket.

Luincrist feigned an attack on Sigeric's armpit, only to stab his hand through, piercing the skin and dislodging the dagger within his skin. Sigeric did not transform and the pain was defeaning. Luincrist smiled at him, standing there, grinning like a mad idiot at his display of power.

"Whattareya gonna do? You can't touch me, witch boy." He spat at Sigeric.

12519458

Sigeric was silent. He pulled out the dagger and dropped it to the ground, before taking off his pierced gauntlet and doing the same. He raised his hand towards Luincrist, the limb involuntarily shaking from the pain. He gave the prince a cold stare while he focused his energy into healing the wound.
