VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

He recognized both names, although not enough to get a good picture about him, he knew his name Mairon from Aule hall, even if he was the former dark lord he was still a respected student. Sauron he heard from traveling through Bree and the smallest of what he heard from Eonwë. He seemed like a nice fellow though. He would take his hand and shake it saying "Yes, sadly I don't have that good of a memory of you, but your not a total stranger from what I heard."

"Hey, look, Ela, it's ok. That dragon is the same old Card that was just here a few seconds ago. He's still your brother, just a bit bigger. And scalier. And can fly and breathe fire. And a bunch of other cool stuff that you can see later, ok?"

He gently took her hand again and slowly
guided her over to Dragiloc. When they were close enough, Ha'zi  bent over and spent to her, "I'm going to lift you up, so try not to get scared or move around a lot, alright, Ela? Just be brave for a few seconds." He grins, then carefully grabs her sides, "Here we go... 1... 2... 3... Lift!"

The Haradrim boy did his best to get her up on Dragiloc's back, then climbed himself up. "Ok, Card, we're ready." Then whispered to Ela, "Hold on tight." Grimnir continues his way to The Lonely Mountain, long had he not seen it, would be easily Around a year or 50. With his Axes in hand, he continues his way, "If I arrive tomorrow, I Will never drink alcohol again." He promised himself. Grimnir wasnt even that much of alcohol. He prefered a Nice cold cup of water over ale Any time. But sometimes a glass of martini, not even he, could refuse. For Durin's Sleep! For the world! And the ones after this one!

"O-o-okay." Ela barely got the sentence out as she held onto the dragon's back.

"Pleasure." Mairon said. His name literally meant 'The Admirable' but Maia in Valinor like Osse and others who despised him called him 'Sauron' meaning 'The Abominable' an insult to his name. Pyrus remembered all the stories of how Mairon was a deceiver as well as those that spoke of his power. He was among the most powerful of the Maiar race, arguably the most powerful for a time under Morgoth. Could Pyrus reach such heights?

Morgoth, who never smiled, nor expressed any form of emotion, beckoned Pyrus over.

"Irmo is the Master of Memories, Visions and Dreams. He sometimes manipulates the truths of the world to cover up for the mistakes of the Valar and Eru. If you want to know the truth, the full story, come here." Morgoth offered. Though, as with everything with Morgoth, Pyrus couldn't be sure if it was a command or a request.

Iver found his old room was dusty, desolate and unfit for use. There were a number of guests rooms that seemed empty, though. Marco found one and slept in it for an entire twelve hours. Iver found his own pleasant bed to sleep in and the day went pass in blissful rest. Erland returned home six hours later to see his son sleeping, smiled at seeing him returned and went off to his own place. He would not inform him of the fact that his wife and Lord Redhaven had a bastard child forty-two years ago and that, the specific bastard was a boy that was raised as his own son. That would jeopardize his relationship with him and Iver was the only one he truly had left. If he ever found out about his true origins, Iver would run to Redhaven to visit his biological father and be the new heir to that wealthy piece of land. That would not do. Not yet, anyway. Erland showered, dressed in his nightgown and slept.

"Forget that old thing." Thoruk's father brushed away the axe and hugged his son, "What happened to you?!" He exclaimed, belatedly as he squeezed the life out of his son in a bear-like grip.

"Wha-" Luincrist backed up, "Seize him! He is a sorcerer! A witch! HE MUST BE BURNED!" Luincrist yelled at the guards. They made no move to do anything. One of them looked at Sigeric, "I remember you. Damn, you haven't changed a bit. Where the hell have you been, Sigeric?" It was Aelwin, one of the squires of King Brand. He had aged terribly and was balding with only a small tuft of black hair left on his shiny head. He used to look much more handsome back in the day.

Grimnir would not arrive tomorrow. It would be another two weeks of walking to reach the Lonely Mountain, however-

A group of men appeared on the highway road that led from the Old Forest Road to Dale. They blocked Grimnir's path and were armed.

"Naw, listen here ol' fella. We dun wan any truble, so hand'em goods o'er or there'll be sum." The lead one said to Grimnir, unsheathing a sword. The five men behind him pulled out crossbows and other weapons like spears.

Around Grimnir, rustling alerted him to more bandits. Three to his left, maybe four on his right and perhaps some more behind him.

16311516

Grimnir would look at the men, "You truly have no idea who I am, and for that, your blood shall stain this road for eons to come." He said unimpressed as he cut himself, to transform into the Destroyer.

Thoruk, a bit dazzled due to the grip he hadn't felt for years starts to explain. "A-after yours and mothers deaths I left the Iron Hills and traveled across middle earth, eventually landing in a town named Bree." he says, knowing that his father will most likely not trust him either but he felt like he has a home once more and so he goes on, telling his story to his father, hoping that his own blood will believe him. "I was throwen into prison there for killing some bandits a-and after that we got selled to slavers, we traveled on a ship for months before landing on a realy strange island." he stoppes for a bit. "You probably won't believe me dad but... on this island where 8 gian-shifters. They where just like Beornlings but gigantic and-and my friends and I, where trapped there and had to kill them in order to leave the island and so we did." Thoruk says, not putting to much hope into someone believing him at this point. "The shifters spirits were transfered into the nearest persons and... now I am one of them aswell. After that happend we got tricked into opening the gates of Morgoths prison, yes dad, THAT Morgoth you told me about." he stoppes to take a few breathes. "I literally have no power left after traveling from Gundabad to this place, I-I could prove that I'm speaking the truth, but without any power I can't show you anything, I'm sorry father."

WHOOOOOSH

The explosion of steam sent the bandits flying backward. Grimnir saw everything around him, his upper body towering above the trees.

The bandits began to scurry away, some screaming, others frozen in fear and staring up at Grimnir. They were like gnats to him. Pathetic. Tiny. Annoying. Gnats.

"My son, are you okay?" His father asked. It was clear he was skeptical and he let Thoruk go so he could look into his eyes. "Do you need to rest?"

13615485

Grimnir would grab the frozen bandits and squize them in his hands, then he would throw whatever boulders he could find to throw at the running bandits.

Iver woke up and felt super fresh. He walked down to the dinning room looking for Marco and his father, they needed to talk.
12253360

"You don't believe me either, do you?" Thoruk asks, breathing out. "Aye, I realy need to take a rest, but where do you live now, after I left the Iron hills I've never heared anything bout you again, ya know?" Thoruk says looking into his father's eyes.

Dimitri managed to sneak past the fortress and cross the Fords of Isen. Edoras was another week of walking ahead unless he stole a horse. He heard a couple nickers from the stable at the fortress. It seemed to be manned by a single guard who carried a torch around.

"I mostly live in the Military Quarters. I don't have an underground house since there is no point in getting one without a family. Come with me," Thrak said to his son, seeing the King and stating to him, "May I take some time for a reunion with my son, my lord?"

"Of course," Thorin said, letting them pass out of the high altitude training field.

Thrak helped Thoruk along to the Military Quarters which consisted of about ten thousand rooms and cabins built into the natural delving caves of the Lonely Mountain. Torches lit the way and fountains of silver poured natural streams of water forth. It was an architectural wonder of the world, this city. Erebor. Such beauty and splendor yet, Thoruk was missing it as he fell asleep. He has transformed once, used his electrical powers multiple times and had no rested in many days. Thrak took him into a room and laid him down on a bed of cotton wool blankets and silky sheets, before snuffing out the firelight, shutting the door and letting his son sleep.

Thoruk awoke ten hours later, dehydrated and hungry. Water was laid out in a bowl on the bedside table and a tray of bacon, eggs and onions was placed next to it.

The men exploded like fruits in Grimnir's palms, the blood and guts in their bodies pouring out of their orifices. It was bloody disgusting but a part of Grimnir enjoyed it. He found no available boulders laying about and the bandits that ran disappeared into the forests. Five men lay dead at his feet. He saw something. No, some people. Ahead on the road, walking towards him. Two women. One was wearing blue armor and had jet black raven hair, she was exceptionally tall for one though. Grimnir couldn't tell. Her companion was a female with red hair who was shorter than her and seemed to be pale.

"Hello, there!" The raven-haired woman called up to him, "If you would be so kind to remove yourself from that nasty little thing and come down here for a chat, that'd be nice." They seemed completely nonchalant considering Grimnir was a fifteen meter tall Giant who had just killed a couple of men.

Cardiloc passed over the White Mountains and flew through the white clouds. The entire trip was noisy with Ela asking various questions to Card about the dragon, about the skies, about the mountains, the seas, the outside world, its people, everything.

"Where are we going, Card?" She continued to pester him like a curious child would.

Ha'zi had to endure her yapping, though it was a bit cute, the Haradrim boy had once been like her. So full of awe, curiosity, and questions. The world was a beautiful, cruel place. And this little girl. This sweet little thing. She would not experience a fraction of it if they failed to stop Morgoth.

"Huh?" The man said turning to see Dimitri, oh and Dimitri's left hand was still stone.

"Hail! We don't sell them here, sorry lad. Ya can pick one up in Freumsburg down the road." The man responded.

8861015

"Just a hop and a skip, ya can see it in the distance!" He laughed, pointing at the lights in the far distance. Dimitri could barely make it out but there was definitely something there, a small hill was blocking the view but he could see some lights.

8861015

"Don't think so, lassies." Grimnir responded to the two women. "I should head to Erebor, or are you going to suprise me with any shenanigans, I am quite used to those by now."

Ha'zi enjoyed the trip as their small group flew through the skies, passing mountains and beautiful valleys, a whole new world for the boy. But as much as he was enjoying it, it seems that Ela wasn't. She still looked to be confused about what was happening. Ha'zi would, too, if he had a brother and he turned into a dragon right in front of Ha'zi.

"Hey, Ela, I have something for you to look at if you want." He rummages through his items. Finally, he gives her a grin, "Ever heard of a Mumakil?" He says as he shows her 'A Practical Guide To Raising Your Mumakil.' 12253360
