VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Joplin, confused by that answer, made a mistake. His hold of Arandil's neck slipped as he asked, "What do you mean?"

If Arandil ever wanted to escape the chokehold, now was the time.

Thule was light and she fell against the cell bars with a bang. Her body dropped to the floor next to it.

"You idiot." Equas laughed, "She'll only turns moving things to ice when she's sleeping."

Iver's fingers had frozen over and cracked, bleeding. Steam arose from the wounds, per usual, healing over them.

"Thule has to be awake and only Master Morgoth can do that," the boy continued.

"Hold on, let me get a stronger weapon. I'll pry the damn lock open with my own transformation if this doesn't work." Evenis said turning around and moving towards the staircase.

GASP.

Suddenly, the woman they called Thule, Iver's cellmate, snow white, awakened. Her eyes open, she took in a depth breath and her skin flustered with red, "Ah-wha-where-huh-who?" She asked in a light Edáin accent, speaking in a language Iver had never heard.

Tytus said something in that same language and pointed at the naked Iver. She flustered upon seeing the nude man and moved her head away in shame. After some more conversing with Tytus, she spoke finally in a language Iver could understand, something similar to Westron.

"Excuse me, but could you move away from me?" She politely asked Iver, as she stood up.

"How did she-?" Miriel asked.

"I don't know." Tytus replied, "We can deal with that later. For now, let's get out of here."

Suddenly, voices started to call out from around Iver. It seemed to be coming from the hallways, even from the other cells...

"either my bad smell woke everyone or morgoth did" Iver said and moved aside. "Do you mind freezing the lock?" He asked her.

”It shan’t be long.” The woman said, eyes on the lock as she placed her hands to them. Ice spread outwards across the bars and she moved backward, shutting her eyes as she accidentally pressed up against Iver and backed out.

Evenis came back and glanced at Tytus, “Together?”

“Sure. You ready?” Tytus asked.

“Now!” Evenis yelled and charged the frozen bars with Tytus, their shoulders out.

The ice cracked as the two of them smashed through it, an icicle stabbing Tytus in the back. Evenis pulled it out and the Screaming Shifter stifled a shout.

The cage was broken.

"good job you 3" Iver said, trying to avoid getting a boner after she touched him. "We need to hurry up and break all the locks, can you lead me to the armoury so I can grab something and help you?" Iver asked the boy.

Arandil took the opportunity and escaped. He pulled out his sword and stood next to Daugo. "Listen , beast. We don't want any of us to die now, out here, in this God forsaken valley. Do you not agree?"

Ha'zi watched, sickened, as the Vala bloodied the fortress with the Maiar gathered. One by one, neck crushed like a bug, heads rolling. All to draw out one man. The man being the vile beast Ha'zi had to protect. And that vile beast's current, and strongest, aggressor was Tulkas. He had to somehow stop this divine from killing Melkor. When should Ha'zi do it? Would there be some signal, from Mandos' friend he mentioned, perhaps? Was now the time to do it?
Pr- No, definitely, not. He didn't want the same fate as those people. He'd have to be patient, which
he hated being. But what else could he do?

Thoughts of his mission still swarming in his head, Ha'zi decided to move a bit closer to the gross spectacle, curious of what will happen and waiting for a moment to stop the slaughterer before him.12253360

”This guy?” Túrin asked, whether confused or offended was unknown to Cardiloc, “This,” he gestured to the majesty of Tulkas the Mighty, “Is Tulkas Astaldo, Champion of Valinor, the most physically cabale of the Valar.”

Túrin slid down Cardiloc’s back and began walking forward with the Valar-blade in hand.

Eonwë rushed forth, passing Glorfindel and running towards Stadus. The Captain of the Champions stood in his way, blocking him.

“Your duty is to protect Túrin. What are you doing here, Eonwë?”

”I want an audience with Tulkas, please. Step aside, Stadus.”

The Captain was motionless, static in place. “Do not try it, Eonwë.”

”I have to-Stadus, you know I have to.” Eonwë pled with his younger sibling whilst Tulkas laughed as he lobbed off the fifth prisoner’s head with one well-placed kick.

The Captain sighed and moved to allow Eonwë passage to Tulkas and the prisoners. The Champions surrounded their Vala, defending him from any counter-attacks from any direction.

Ha’zi watched as this all occurred. He saw Eonwë pass through the circle of warriors and move towards Tulkas and the prisoners.

”I agree that it’s funny how you claim to not want death but chase after me with arms. A bit hypocritical, no?” The man laughed, almost deranged in nature, as he backed up into a corner.

Thinking about it made Iver stiffen. Thule was blushing, her head turned in the opposite direction, “My apologies,” she remarked and moved forward, lending a hand to Evenis, raising him up. Strangely he did not appear to freeze on contact. She raised her boots over the broken ice and stepped out of the cell, “The others?”

Tytus nodded, “First Miriel and Mirecyla, then Endo and Yellena, then the rest.”

Thule moved forward and touched Mirecyla and Miriel’s cell, freezing it. Once it was fully frozen over, Miriel ran up and swung her foot at it, striking the ice and cracking it.

“Mirec,” The redhead looked at her cell mate, “Let’s get our freedom,” and entered the hallway with the others. Evenis hugged Miriel and she blushed, slowly disengaging from him. “I missed you too, Even,” she smiled at them all. For once they were together and in that moment Miriel’s hopes grew.

“Let’s bust this icicle stand,” Equas said, ruining the moment with another petty one-liner.

"Ah." Card nodded in understanding. Card looked around for any other shifters, and noticed Ha'zi. "Ha'zi! Over here." The dragon called out in a booming voice. 16315828

What was Eonwë do- "Huh?" Ha'zi turned, startled, to see Card the dragon. He walked forward to the Dunlending, curious of what he wanted. "Uh, hi, Card? What's happening?" 12700073

”Why the fuck are you laughing at me? You sick monsters are enjoying this aren’t you? You know what. Fuck Morgoth. Fuck you. Fuck me.” And with that Joplin turned and ran like a maniac, rushing through a bush without a care for his life.

18199471 13527980

Fuck stealth. Joplin ran out of there as if the place were covered with Iver’s, cutting himself through bushes, stepping on rocks, tripping once, twice, running through a spiderweb and finally reaching a clearing. He looked out and saw a gorge, at its bottom was a running river. He was cornered.

Arandil, due to attempting to be stealthy, was left far behind whilst the Shifter tore a warpath through the forest.

"Ugh, why'd you have to start blabbering?" he puffed as he tried to keep up. "I had it under control!"

Mairon grimaced. It was foolish of Azura to rely on anyone but herself, but he understood how most Maiar held him in awe.
"There is no plan. We may only attempt to avoid this for a while longer. I shall be trying something now, but do not expect it to save us," he said coldly, though he was breathing heavily.

He tried to buy some time. "Thou shalt not achieve anything with this," he said to Tulkas, while a meter away from Azura, new prisoner Maiar arose. They were a ruse; statues of rock and dirt with an illusion cast upon them to make them look real.

Iver mumbled an apology in return, blushing as well yet hoping that all of the blood and gore covering him wouldn't allow anyone to see. What happened to him?
"Hoping that no one will notice the prison break wouldn't be optimism, it will be stupidity. We need to get more weapons" he said.

”The armoury is under lock and guard. We need more of us in order to overpower the Maiar still within the castle.” Tytus told Iver as Thule, Miriel and Evenis broke through the next cell and helped out a new person. A man with short dark hair and fair white skin. His eyebrows raised as he saw Iver, “Well, fancy seeing this one,” he laughed.

“Oi, ya fag, what’s your name?” Equas asked, offering Iver the boy’s overall vest to cover himself.

Daugo and Arandil emerged from the forest after a lengthy run and saw Joplin peering over the edge of a cliff. He seemed to be gauging the distance between the cliffs when he turned around and caught them, “If you don’t leave me alone, I swear to kill everybody you love. Just walk away and forget I exist. Otherwise, you’ll have to kill me!” Joplin yelled at the duo.

”I got this one,” One of the Warriors sighed and walked over to the rocks, prodded them with her blade and kicked them over.

Azura’s head sank.

”At this point it is pathetic. And yes, I doubt, he’ll emerge. He’s too much of a coward to face me. But, I do enjoy dispensing justice to miscreant traitors. And I shall relish yours.” Tulkas said, his hands crushing the skull of the sixth prisoner, the Maia screaming in agony as his brain imploded. Tulkas laughed a bit and wiped the blood and matter off his hands, flicking some at the remaining prisoners. A piece of the cranium landed in Sauron’s hair.

”Look around your, Gorthaur. Look at your enemies. You’re not going to escape this. Even if you somehow manage to escape me, which you won’t; then my Champions will cut you down, and if you somehow manage to defeat them, which you won’t; then the bloodthirsty Noldor over by that Karoltai will have a field day executing you, and if you somehow manage to defeat them, which you won’t; then the Karoltai would squash you like the insect you are, and if you somehow manage to defeat it, which you won’t; then my own brothers and sisters shall hunt you down with a fury unknown to the any of the Ainu, except, Melkor, of course. You might as well make your peace.” He ripped off the seventh prisoner’s head, blood splurging everywhere. Then he tossed it in the air and kicked it at one of Mairon’s failed prisoner Maia, knocking its head off clean.

The next one in line was Azura, then it was him.

Before Tulkas laid his meaty paws on the female Maia next to him, an old voice spoke and a shiver ran down Mairon’s spine. It was a voice he had not heard in a long time.

”Tulkas, I bid you spare him.” Eonwë spoke, approaching the Vala.

"thanks comrade" Iver said and put the clothes on, ending "the adventures of naked Iver issue 1". "The name is Iver" he told the boy and looked around, it seems surprisingly good, almost as if......
Na, they were just lucky. He thought as he looked at the group breaking cell after cell. "Is there anyone else that can use his abilities in human form?" He asked tytus.

"I don't seek to hurt you," said Daugo. "But it is an inescapable fact that I need you. We need you. What's your name, man?"

[rule]

"Eönwë," he said in a low voice, a sliver of hope filtering in. Eönwë had believed his appeal so many centuries ago; he knew mercy. If anyone was willing to give him quarter, it was his long-estranged brother.
