VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"We go back, there is nothing left for us. If you want ,go back to your shifting friends in the valley. I'm going back to Gondor. I need to assemble an army or scout regiment to go find Joplin."

"guys you really don't need to-"
"I think we should just stop and-"
Iver said before he was interrupted by the screaming shifters, and he thought his power was autistic screeching.
"Wait stop-" Iver said as the shifter started fighting right before he got punched in his nose. "Not again" he mumbled as he fell on the ground.

Iver got up and fixed his nose, "as you may see, fighting was never my thing" he told Thule as they walked toward tytus.
"Hey tytus, do you have any place in mind or you are open for suggestions" he asked him after he was done with the little brat.

Ha’zi saw the elves thrown into panic.

“Where is he?!” Harros shouted at Eönwë.
”Hu-who?” The Maia was slowly standing back up from the blast.
Celeborn glanced back at the crater, then quickly looked northeast to the Destroyer.

BOOOM.

A red firework exploded in the distance behind the elf. He turned and saw, much to his surprise, the Gondorian Cavalry Regiment, or what was left of it, riding towards them. They couldn’t be more than two dozen riders but they brought thrice their number in horses.

On the hilltop was Dimitri and nearby stood Thoruk. The former resting and the latter playing with flames. Why were they always so useless in times of need?

Ha’zi saw the dead body of the Guardian Giant in the distance, as well as Cardiloc galloping after the Destroyer who was fighting with the...the Armoured Giant? What the hell was happening?

Meanwhile back in the crater, Be’Lakor’s spear slid off the Vala’s skin, although, it burnt and cut Tulkas. The whips of the six other Balrogs attached to his body. Two pulling his legs apart, four at his wrists. The Wrestler pulled against them, significantly shoving the Balrogs as he fought back in rage.

Sauron awoke behind Tulkas, the Vala-blade in his grasp. How had he been transplanted here? Was this the work of his Lord? The Balrogs? He remembered before this fight began, Melkor’s wording.

”I have my own schemes in place.”

Was this the plan all along?

Arandil and Daugo found each other at an impasse as both realized that the horses had fled and scurried when the Shifter had fallen upon them. Arandil also realized that he never caught the name of the burning man and thus could not know what it was. They were stranded, lost in the forest, without transport.

”I honestly don’t care where we settle down-“ Tytus muttered before he was interrupted by Equas.
“Not anywhere near this place,” the boy spoke.
“Oh, could we go somewhere cold?” Yellena asked.
“I prefer the heat,” Thule shrugged.
“We can think about where later. Just, for now, we have to get out of here. And without Miriel and Berethor we can’t. Both Equas and I are too tired, I can scarecely use my shouting. Mirecyla, are you well rested enough to carry us out of here as a Giant?” Tytus turned to the girl.

“What about, Iver?” Thule asked, looking at him, “I assume he’s like us. You are, aren’t you?”

Arandil tried to find where the sun was. Imagining a compass in his head when he saw it. West would lead them to Rammas Echor. North West could lead them to the damned Marshes of the dead. But what he feared was the river. He feared that there would be no way to cross it.

Iver sighed, "sadly, I am the flying giant and I'll have to try. I'm not sure I have enough energy to transform and even then I'm quite small" he said.
"However, before I try, I'll let you know that I have a place that I believe will bw big enough for our group" Iver said, memories of his grandfather's castle crossing his mind.

The sun was setting and the last rays of light began to fade. Arandil caught a glimpse of it and recognized where the west was. Night was coming and they needed to find a way out of the forest.

”What’s it like?” Thule asked, her curiosity piqued.

“Is it big enough for all of us?” Someone asked, right next to him. The invisible man, Taras, scaring Iver a bit.

“Firstly, how many can you carry as the Flying?” Tytus asked, focused on leaving.

While the destroyer was busy with the armoured Card began to climb up the back of its leg, he’d then crawl up to the giants nape... 12253360

The Destroyer was pressed up against the Obsidian Fortress with the Armoured facing it.

It’s knuckles hardened, becoming crystalline and it smashed its fist into the Armoured’s face. Berethor faltered for a moment, the damage he had sustained was catastrophic but he kept fighting. One hand slammed into the Destroyer’s stomach whilst he pulled back and pushed its other hand off him. The Armoured took a step backwards, then another.

Cardiloc saw that the Destroyer was winning. In one hand he had Sigeric’s shard, with Sigeric inside whilst in the other his knuckles had become hardened to the point where it broke the Armoured’s armor. If he managed to espy the neck of the Giant, he would see the nape had been crystallized over in the same material that held Sigeric’s shard.

"Blast it," Daugo said, kicking a pebble. It seemed as if mysterious powers were working in secret to prevent him from doing what he wanted, instead sticking him to this halfwit. "Aren't there like... any Gondorians living near this forest?" he said moodily.

[rule]

Sauron was deeply confused, but he knew better than to waste time trying to figure everything out in the midst of battle. Balrogs had appeared (much to his own disgust), restraining Tulkas, and a blade had appeared in his hand.

He knew what the blade was. He felt its weight and smooth hilt in his hand, perfectly balanced as any blade of Aulë must be. He had wondered why there should be a need in Valinor for such weaponry, back when he was an innocent Maia that went by the name of Mairon, since the only enemy Vala was Melkor; but he hadn't questioned his previous lord about it.

A smile crackled like murderous lightning across his worn face. "Die," he said, plunging the blade as deep he could into Tulkas' lumbar vertebrae.

In that case the dragon just climbed up the destroyers side, and began ravaging the destroyers neck with his teeth to break into the nape. 12253360

”What is this?” Tulkas asked as the Balrogs whipped him, his face molded from confusion to glee as he exclaimed, ”Finally a real fight-“ then to shock. The Vala tried to turn but the blade sunk into his muscle, penetrating his rib cage. He tensed, shook, then began to laugh.

”HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!“

His chortle became a scream as Tulkas Astaldo, the Valiant, the Mighty, the Wrestler, Champion of Valinor, Hero of the West’s fëa erupted out of him sleeping through his eyes, mouth, ears, nose and the wound, all his energy, his power, his life force, his very soul sucked into his own Vala-blade that had been used against him. His Vala Wings, great angelic golden pinions exploded in flame. His body fell to the floor, the blade sliding out of it, slamming into the ground next to Melkor’s with a great thud as if a troll had fallen. Tulkas Astaldo was dead.

Everyone watched in shock and terror as the strongest fighter in all creation was slain.

“KILL THEM!” Stadus screamed and charged down into the crater, Maia-blade drawn.
“For Tulkas!” One of the other Champions exclaimed and threw two darts towards Lungorthin.
“DIE!” One shouted in Valarin.

Fourteen Champions of Tulkas came roaring down into the crater in all directions.

”PROTECT YOUR LORD!” Gothmog repeated and flailed his whip at one Maia, slashing him in two whilst rearing up his titanic flaming sword and decapitating another.

Eönwë shook his head. Was this a nightmare? They had been so close. What had happened? Mairon? He turned to look at where his brother had been, seeing an empty spot. What? Who? He looked back and saw Stadus suicide charge the Balrogs. This was madness. This was hell. He hit his head once, out of the sheer shock of the situation. What the hell was happening? This wasn’t the way it was supposed to be? Mandos’ Prophecy? Was it all a lie? He turned away from the fighting and, as if in a dream like state, wondered through the vastness of Mordor in blissful ignorance.

Celeborn saw the incoming reinforcements and realized the full scope of the situation. This was bad. No. This was terrible. So close had they come to completing the mission. Yet, here they were, the target right in his grasp and he could do nothing. Celeborn grabbed Zaro, “All Soldiers!” He exclaimed, shooting his last flare into the air.

BOOOM.

Black smoke covered the skies.

“RETREAT!!!” He shoved Zaro towards the line of horses that were arriving, “Mount!” He yelled, breaking their shocked complexions.

Ha’zi, Thoruk and Dimitri saw the smoke, heard the calls, and noticed the Gondorians. How had they gotten there? Were the obelisks offline? Had the fence failed? They’d been so focused on Tulkas and Morgoth to take notice of their only means of escape. Ha’zi, on his path to find Sigeric, saw the fight happening three hundred and fifty meters away by the Castle walls. The Destroyer fighting two Giants; the Armoured and Hybrid. Sigeric’s own Guardian’s corpse lay on the field nearby them.

”Not so fast!”

The Destroyer grabbed Cardiloc’s neck and as the Dragon’s mouth opened to sink it’s teeth into his sink, he shoved Sigeric’s crystal shard inside Cardiloc’s mouth.

Sigeric saw what no man should see as Cardiloc’s dragon began to choke on him. He saw the belly of the beast. And a burning hot sensation rearing up Cardiloc’s throat. If he...if he breathed flame...if he swallowed him...would the crystal melt in dragonflame?

Card couldn’t breathe as he choked on Sigeric’s shard. Osman picked him up and threw him at the Armoured Giant, the two Giant Shifters colliding with one another resulted in the Armoured toppling over.

Osman roared triumphantly,

”I AM THE DESTROYER GIANT!! CAN NO ONE CHALLENGE ME?!?!”

”I’ll challenge you.” It was a voice Cardiloc recognized, though much deeper and louder than he’d ever heard her.

A hundred meters to the northeast side of the wall stood the Savage Giant, one fist a bladed bone, the other a crystallized fist, she began to charge the Destroyer Giant with a speed unparalleled to any fifteen meter Giant.

''Ithilien Rangers live in this forest, I lived in these lands once. But the War of the Ring brought armies of Mordor to our door steps. So my family went to Lossarnach and me and my brother went to fight in the war for Gondor. I'd say you should go East to aid your shifting friends, but you said you can't transform until 2 days pass. So follow me. We go West to the the villages and barracks of Gondor, or we can search for Ranger hideouts. Very difficult to find. But if we find one you will be set with gear and some food and you will be sent off back to your pals."

Ugh...” Card gasped out as he slammed into the armoured giant, he slowly tried to get up and assess the damage. 12253360

Cardiloc was able to stand, rising up on the Armoured Giant’s chest. The Armoured was badly damaged. It’s right eye socket had been gouged out, its left cheek broken ripped apart, its neck punctured. It was still alive, though, as it weakly tried to rise up. Cardiloc on the other hand had another problem. Sigeric’s crystal was jammed in his throat. He couldn’t breathe with it there and he was beginning to loose conscious control of his Giant form. Another issue, Sigeric himself was inside the crystal. Meaning that if he breathed flames, he might kill the Dalishman.

Meanwhile, the Savage Giant had made an appearance. Cardiloc recognized Miriel’s features on her Giant, the red hair, breasts, even the freckles, similarly to how the others took on the appearances of their respective shifters. She strode forward, sprinting at the Destroyer Giant, who roared obscenities at her.

”Want some of this, you filthy whore?”

Osman broke off a piece of the Castle walls and threw it at Miriel who ducked, raising her bone-blade to cover her, a fraction of it cracked off as the obsidian shattered against it.

Was she fighting the Destroyer Giant? Was she on their side? Or someone else’s? Or was this another ruse? A trap? Were they in cahoots? Was the Armoured?

The Armoured was trying to rise but Cardiloc’s dragon sat on his chest, keeping him down.

From Arandil’s brief time spent in Ithilien, he remembered the closest outpost to them was the famed Henneth Annun which lay, perhaps, a day’s walk south.

18199471 13527980

"Do you wish to travel to the outpost? It will take some time but a day after in it you can march back to the valley and if were lucky you''ll have some elite rangers with you."

Ha'zi didn't turn back to see what the screaming, the laughter, the explosions were. He only focused on running towards Sigeric, and Card, who seemed to both be in a bad position. Tuning out every other thing, the Haradrim boy kept going, straight to his friends. 12253360

Someone grabbed Ha’zi and his legs lifted off the ground.

“Fack this shit, bro. Bad trip, bro. Bad trip,” Marco said as he pulled Ha’zi onto his horse and joined the column of Gondorians and elves that were riding away from the Obsidian Castle. As he was lifted up he saw the Destroyer knock out both Cardiloc and the Armoured Giant, then another Giant appeared further away. If he narrowed his eyes he could just make out the red hair and slim shape.

16315828

Cardiloc rolled himself off, and lied down flat on his back. He pointed towards his mouth to indicate to the armoured giant what was wrong. 12253360

"Ah, what? Oh, uh, thanks Marco. But I need to get to Sigeric, I have something to tell him!" Ha'zi says, a bit angry. "Please, could you take me near there, Marco? Sig-" His words stopped as he noticed the far along back giant. Was that really..? It looked like her... Miriel?! Ha'zi looked urgently at his Gondorian friend, "I have to get over there, Marco, like, NOW. Miriel, i think, is over there, and if I don't help them they'll get screwed even more!" 12253360

Marco rubbed his chin and slapped his hands together, "Boi-" he said, "Do you not see the amount of fack going on over there?" He pointed at the Destroyer Giant which was roaring and howling with glee.

16315828

-------

"He's too powerful..." Berethor grunted to himself inside the nape of the Armoured Giant, he slowly rose and saw the dragon glancing up at him with puppy eyes. There was something lodged in its throat...

"Huh?" His muttering translated to a discernable unintelligible speech as the Armoured Giant reached out and grabbed Cardiloc's neck, giving it a soft yank. The shard dislodged but was still in its mouth. He yanked it harder and Cardiloc vomited Sigeric out onto the Armoured. The Hybrid's throat and tongue had been damaged by the shard and Cardiloc couldn't speak, but he could breathe fire.

Meanwhile,

"DIE BITCH!"

Osman yelled as the Savage sprinted and leaped at him, he grabbed her bone-arm and cracked it off with his hardened hand but her crystallized fist broke through his ribcage, ripping out a significant portion of his lower chest.

She twisted and swung her leg at the Destroyer's feet but he brought his fist down on her head and they both fell, Osman toppling onto the Savage. He moved his hands to strangle her.
