VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"Oh," The man slurped down his helping, "Yeah. About that..." He looked at Aranel and explained everything about the situation. She sighed and merely shook her head. "Yes. That happens sometimes. It's not unusual, sadly. We all have our share of issues but at least some of us are better at handling it than others."

"So, are we gonna sit here till the sun sets or when Dagor Dagorath will begin?" He said as he sat down on a nearby rock, unsheathing his sword and inspecting if it was clean and sharp."So, think this is it chief? Think ill ever become like you?"

The figure stared at him. The wind blew past suddenly as they spoke, "Who's asking?"

Iver barely heard their question.

Arandil saw Iver approach the man and talk to him in the distance. He couldn't hear what they were saying as he sat there. He noticed his sword was quite sharp.

"Ahhhhh, i just stated my name, but in case you didn't hear my name is Iver" He said slightly confused and hoped that he heard what the man said, he tried to analyze the voice of him although it was very hard due to the wind.

"Well , well. We can't hear a damn fucking thing" He said to Thoruk. "Can't we just start cutting heads off?" He said as he got up and sheathed his sword after admiring how elegant and sharp his sword was.

"That's not what I asked." He said. His voice was husky, almost a bit too husky.

"What are you?" His head tilted slightly towards the decaying bat giant behind Iver.

"Can you rep-" Iver tried to ask after the stranger replied. "Well, i believe that you already know" Iver replied to the second question.

"Do enlighten me." The man stated. Iver thought he could hear some disdain in his voice.

"One of you," Did he just laugh?

"You have no idea who I am." The man took a step toward's Iver.

"well, Not exactly. That's why I asked for your name" Iver admitted, was he getting closer because it was hard for him to talk with all the wind?

"Who am I then?" He asked continued to approach Iver with each step taken deliberately, the distance between the two closing. Iver could see the man's nose. It was tanned and aquiline, his cheeks had a reddish haze to them and his eyes were a sea green almost like lilies. His hair was covered in that scarf that wrapped around him like a turban which gave off the impression that he was an Easterling like Margoz or some sort of Haradrim. But...how had they obtained a Giant power? They could speak fluent Westron like him. So who was this? A prototype? An inheritor?

"Answer that first. Then you may have my name," He paused and his jade eyes bored deeply into the Dalishman's, "Iver, was it?"

As Thoruk sees the figure getting closer towards Iver, he decides to do so aswell. Thoruk walks a few steps towards the two and leans onto his axe and watches what the two of them would do next.

“I guess we all have issues,” Card nodded thoughtfully. “But that doesn’t mean I liked how Ha’zi behaved there, he’s sorry for it though, he really is Berethor; I just think that this world gets to him I guess, I mean it must get to all of you, but him especially since he’s leading all of you. so uh, moving on; do you know what we do when we get back to my time?”

"Guess were doing this."He said as he unsheathed his blade yet again, expecting the inevitable fight to come. He began to walk side by side with Thoruk.

"Well, unlike some people here," Berethor glanced at the others, "I'd like to blow this shithole and go back to help this other 'time'. This world is lost. That much is certain. Yet, some are just too stubborn to learn to evolve. Or they've just given up, I guess."

"Leave them be." Aranel said softly, "What we'll do is rather complicated for me to discuss here." She said to Cardiloc. "If you want to talk about it, let's go somewhere with a fewer ears."

12700073

Cardiloc nodded to Berethor, it was a grim outlook, but true; the issue was, how the fuck was Card supposed to get all of them out. He’d ‘teleported’ with Ha’zi sure, but that had mostly been the Haradrim using Cards power and had been in the same time, how was he supposed to take dozens of people not just to another place or time but into an alternate reality. “Let’s go then.” He nodded to Aranel, once they were away from the others spoke.

“I was thinking though, wouldn’t it be a little weird for your previous selves to see you now, I mean sure Ha’zi’s past self saw him now and the Ha’zi from my time didn’t have his head explode but it’d be... odd, I just think we shouldn’t just appear out of nowhere especially considering how much shit you protos put us and the people of middle earth through. I don’t even know if I could take so many people at once. It’d have to be in shifts.”

Aranel led him off down a passageway he had not seen before, though he hadn't known this was a ship or even a flying ship after all. Through a doorway and out onto a balcony, Cardiloc found himself staring out into the night sky as he explained all of this to Aranel who did not look back at him but merely gazed out into the darkness.

"I could do it." She said almost nonchalantly.

"eh....." Iver said as he started removing options. It wasn't likely that any of the giants died, so it must be someone from the original team. It couldn't be anyone from the island, he would be able to recognize them. It can be one of those shifters from morgoth's castle, he thought to himself as he started matching faces, couldn't be Equas, Thule, Raddis, Yellena.... Oh Bard, it wasn't anyone of those he knew, but his face did look familiar, almost as if....
"She's waking up!"
"Aranel's coming!"
"Fuck"
"She killed dozens of our friends in a single day"
"That monster was our friend"
"She's monster who'll kill all of us to become stronger"

Well fuck Iver thought to himself.
"You are Taras but visible" Iver said, keeping calm.
