VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

He rubbed his eyes, then withdrew his hand, speaking, "Yeah, agreed. Just... are you fine... being here for a moment? Because... woo... damn..." Galador shook his head, smiling thinly in disbelief. "I've never seen one of those buggers before... Woke me up right away, really."

Since it proved too difficult to climb-
even with his Hybrid augmentations- Ha'zi aborted that way of actions and instead started to go around the body. He made his way straight for the nape, ready to cut out the damn shifter.

Mirecyla was one moment sprinting to the gate, the next moment a brown haze and she felt herself falling. What was is? She hit the ground hard with a grunt and could feel a sword slicing through her Giants skin. This pissed her off, she looked around and saw a Haradrim boy wielding a bastard sword. No. Fucking. Way! Snarling she'd roar at Ha'zi, Miriels lover while using the fear energy around her to start to heal her giant body

"HA'ZI YOU CUNT, WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING ME AND NOT THESE RANGERS? THEY'RE THE ONES WHO TRIED TO HURT YOUR KIDS. NOW FUCKING TRANSFORM AND HELP US GET HOME YOU BRAT!"

Mirecyla would roar at him hoping he wasn't a dumbass, meanwhile she'd divide the fear energies into both healing and scaring away everyone else. Keeping it away from the three on her shoulders/neck and the fuckboi.
---------------
"Yeah, don't know where you got that idea from Shin." Mateus would agree with Kurio, running after the giant

The hobbit regarded him amusedly. "Very well. It speaks poorly of you that I'm not the one shitting my breeches right now," he japed, taking comfort in the fear of abler people than him.

Galador had a chuckle, though it was an uneasy one. "Perhaps... perhaps it does. Though, I haven't encountered any abominations like that before... you and your lot are more experienced with them than I am."
[rule]
"Shut your lip," Shin growled, and followed after Kurio. Internally, the ranger grumbled over the fact that Mateus and Kurio were the ones to turn to him for what to do, and not that he just assumed leadership. But, oh well. "It's Shin, blame him for anything- of course!" He sang with an air of annoyance in his head.

“...Excuse me?” Ha'zi responded in a lifeless
tone, now in a vegetable-like state due to this information dump blasted at the Haradrim causing him to short circuit.

Dimitri closed his eyes and covered them with his hands and waited.

------------------------------------

Furdin took advantage of the giant falling and rushed forward to attack any weakpoints on it.

"YEAH THATS RIGHT, YOUR A FATHER HA'ZI. A BABY BOY AND BABY GIRL, BEREN AND LAUREL ARE THERE NAMES. NOW LETS GO! HE'LL DIE IF WE STAY HERE."

Mirecyla would tell the lad, if Ha'zi had a good line to her face he'd be able to see the truth in her eyes. She made a pleading face and even mouthed the word "Please." It was clear by the look in her eyes, her tone (although with the intensity of it, it was indeed hard to portray what emotions she was letting out), and the pleading portrayed in her face. Ha'zi may of even be able to see another girl, seemingly paralyzed by shock and fear, a man dazed but more the less aware of his surroundings, and another. That man.... Well, he would be able to understand what the giantess meant by him dying. The only question now, was if Ha'zi was willing to trust this strange women. Would he take her up on seeing his children, and his own lover... Miriel.

"Mateus would chuckle at Shins words as they ran along. Upon arriving at the scene they would see that in the distance, yet close was the Giant, in front of her was that Haradrim boy from earlier. Had he felled it all by himself? Mateus would make a mental note of this. However the biggest issue was the crowd of people. This was a major problem, he turned to Kurio and Shin. "We need to get these people back away from the gate, the giant, and the scene." He'd tell them, grabbing ahold of the nearest person he'd throw them backwards roaring at them to get back to their home.

Sigeric forced himself to remain conscious through the tempest of pain and emotion. He had thought that he had complete control over when and where he read people's minds, yet he felt more vulnerable than ever. Why was this happening to him?! "Who gave you the right to invade my mind?!" he snarled, inhaling in short, pained breaths. His words were directed towards no one, and that was precisely whom they reached, lost in the hysteria of the crowd. "Only I should be sovereign here! It should be mine and mine alone!" The fear that surrounded Sigeric was joined by a rising anger - the built-up frustration of all of his failed attempts to take control of his own fate. He began to struggle to his feet, the omnidirectional assault on his consciousness far more oppressive than the physical shock that his body had taken. "...I am not going to be trampled to death by this flock of lowly sheep!" Seething with pain, anger, and desperation, Sigeric pictured his mind as an imposing fortress, its walls taller than Minas Tirith's highest level, and its moat deeper and wider than the rivers that converged upon Redhaven. None could enter this place without his blessing. Taking hold of the chaos within him, he would attempt to dispel it from himself, a powerful wave of mental energy projecting onto all those around him. It carried one simple, forceful command:

BE SILENT.

A large portion of this energy was directed towards the Proto-Shifter whom Sigeric had seen approaching shortly before being trampled. He had recognized the Giant from Mordor - it was the one that could create fear. He had never seen the Shifter's face, but the bastard was going to pay for this humiliation.

Shin glanced amusedly at the scene before him. A mad crowd, a dropped superhuman, and... was that...? "The little shit stain beat us to it!" He proclaimed, fire raging in his violent eyes. Cackling ferally, he went to grab his crossbow, tempted to drop the runt, but it hit him that the idea was one he could be executed for, as the Haradrim trash before him was one of "Gondor's Giants".

"Damn it," he muttered hotly. That wouldn't happen... or, at least, not now.
He refocused his energy then into dispelling the swarming mob, bellowing, "MOVE ASIDE, PEASANTS! EXTERMINATORS ARE HERE! GET A FUCKING MOVE ON!" To get the point across, Shin took out his crossbow, and waved it about to really get them moving along.

“Beren…. Laurel….” Ha'zi would mouth in a trance-like state. Those two names… Beren. Laurel. Didn't he know them? Beren. Laurel. He could've sworn… Wait… Beren. Laurel.

”You would have never met Miriel. Laurel and Beren would never be born.”

"Laurel and Beren would never be born."

“Laurel and Beren.”

He started to hyperventilate, words machine gunning out into a chaotic clump. “OhEru,LaurelBerenMirielMandosNamoProphecyMorgothFuckWhatLaurelBerenLaurelBerenLaurelBeren-” His eyes rolled up into the lad's dark head, and with one last muttering of “BerenLaurel”, Ha'zi descended into unconsciousness.

Daugo answered with a nod. "Giants are ugly bastards. I may be the largest, but some of the smaller ones are truly abjectly terrifying." He put his hand on Galador's elbow. "Courage, friend."

Mirecyla would stare at the boy as he passed out. What the actual fuck? What was such a shock? She'd internally sigh at the boy, all she could rely on that with the sheer panic and fear going around would be enough to fuel her energy levels along with doing what she needed. But with the boy passing out she would allow for her magic to hit into him.
---------------
Mateus would look over at Shin and say to him "Put the damned crossbow away you idiot."

"Tch, I don't see why. These cretins need to learn that we mean business. And, besides, I'm only waving it. There's much worse I can do than that."
[rule]
The Gondorian's mouth curved into a truer smile, though this was only for a moment. Galador sighed, and lightly brushed away the tiny hand, stepping forward. "Alright, we'll continue. Better not be tired, Daugo," he added with a grin.

Shin raised an eyebrow. "Let me get this straight: you're against me waving around my weapon- a weapon that, may I add, isn't even loaded- yet you're for me physically harassing bystanders? Really great moral standing you got there, Mateus."

"Keep telling yourself that if you want. Meanwhile, I'll actually be doing my duty and getting these mad folks to scram so we can get the tramp they're hording around."
[rule]
Galador nodded, and began to walk down the alley.

"Are you sure about that mate?" Mateus would ask him, grabbing peoples shoulders and throwing them backwards while yelling at them to head back home.

"Certainly! While we do go around slaying and such, it is good to at least try and be civil- though it seems that lesson is lost on you," he replies with a smirk.

"That smile of his.. it seemed unusual, even for his standards. Perhaps I should focus on finding Dina first rather than whatever that brute, son of a whore, is up to." He said with determination as he was heading to Dina's cabin.

Even though Equas had told Arandil that Dina was out in the forest, the man seemed adamant on searching her cabin for her. On his way there, he encountered some friends who waved and smiled like Emi and Penduilas, however, he noticed someone new in the village. A man speaking with Miriel. He looked like absolute shit and had ragged blonde hair as well as a facial scar hidden beneath his overgrown hair. He was taller than Arandil and quite muscular. Who was this newcomer?

Upon reaching the training field plateau, Thoruk bore witness to the glory of Erebor's seven dwarf clans. Weapons of destruction on scales he had never thought possible stood before him. He couldn't even guess what they could do.

Dozens of dwarves operated moveable siege craft, a motor-driven mobile iron suit, a twirling blade-copter, and all other kinds of equipment.

"Some are still in development but we've managed to create dragon-breakers, iron-hammerers, and steel-ships to fight the Enemy and defeat them. Moorgooth will never see this coming." King Thorin III Stonehelm proclaimed.

Iver found himself walking the vast upper corridors of the Trickster's Mansion. He heard voices down a set of stairs. It was the flamboyant flair of the Orome combined with some muffled grunts and a soft voice's agreement.

---------------

Dimitri's mind was filled with Manwe's glorious plan. A plan that was set in the making for eons. He saw the millions upon millions of warriors stacked in lines ready to deploy. Vanyar, Noldor and so on, led by the High Kings of the Eldar. Their ships stretching across the horizon ready for the voyage into the east. He saw the vast quantities of Ainur dressed for battle. The thousands of Eternal Guard and the Sentinels of Manwe surrounding a grand capital ship that floated through the skies. It was gargantuan, larger than both the Behemoth and Leviathan combined. He saw the purity of Manwe's legions. Their unbreakable resolve. Their immense strength. This was a force prepared since the War of Wrath, a force that none, not even Tulkas Astaldo could challenge. The sheer quantities of soldiers alone would be enough to overwhelm Morgoth's largest armies tenfold times over.

And suddenly, he saw his place in this plan. His mind was unlocked by the light of Manwe. And all became so much clearer...

---------------

Galador walked into a dead-end around the next corner. However, there was a small entrance, not large enough for him to fit through but definitely for the hobbit. It was one of those old sewage holes that had yet to be bricked over.

Meanwhile in the streets, Ha'zi was left unconscious on the floor just in front of Mirecyla's collapsed giant. Citizens fled in every direction from the beast and Mirecyla felt her wounds steam and heal. Even was dazed but he too had mostly healed from the injuries and he glanced at the scene. "This is exactly what I wanted to avoid..." His voice was drowned out by the shrieks of children and women.

"Mirecy!" Endo cried, alerting Mirecyla to her flank. Out of the crowd, two of those bloody rangers ran at her and cut through her legs, separating them from her body below the kneecaps.

"For the arms now!" Keratos yelled over to Furdin as they cleaved through the Terror Giant.

Mirecyla was unable to move her arms as they were still healing from Ha'zi's speedy assault. And her fear...it was faltering. She was out of energy. This was it. Here and now. It was do or die. And she was unable to do anything else...unless...

Evenis slowly stood up on her rear deltoid and glanced back at Mirecyla. "Take Endo and run. Try and lay low, Mirecy." He said to her just above the roar of the crowd.

Then, her mind went blank. A single command hit them all. BE SILENT.

Furdin and Keratos halted their attack, Daugo and Galador were frozen; Evenis, Endo and Mirecy were stuck in place; Shin and Mateus were stunned in place as they weaved through the crowd which too halted; even, Tamara, the shadow, who had hidden in the turmoil beneath the Executioner's right arm was unable to move whether this was out of fear, Sigeric's telepathy or her own resolve, it was unknown.. Everyone froze. It was as if a still piece of art were drawn.

Ostopher's mouth was open wide mid-order as he shouted at Rambo and the rest of his rangers who were dissolving the crowd near the third level gate of Minas Tirith. All civilians, soldiers, incumbents, invaders, prisoners, everyone in a hundred-meter radius from peaceful citizens hiding in the basement of their house to reinforcements closing in on the Executioner Giant were frozen in place. All except two individuals.

The first being Sigeric, who had a woman's foot pressing deeply into his stomach and numerous bruises and cuts from being trampled by the fleeing crowd. And the second...

"M-m-m-mer-see-" Berethor grunted as he fought his way past the horde. He pushed Shin, the man fell and his crossbow crashed over the floor. Then he shoved through Mateus, sending the ranger cluttering onto a six-year-old boy who had fallen in a puddle of tears. His entire body shook and his left nose began to bleed but he continued to move forward towards the Executioner.
