VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"so......." Iver decided to talk with the hobbit while trying to fix the maps. "How did you end up in the prison back in Bree" 13527980

Ha'zi looks around, uncertain of what to do. All he can hear from others is nonsense, so he decides to help move supplies to the shore.

Daugo stares intensely at Iver for a few seconds.

"I killed a hobbit," he says simply, walking towards the door.

"I've seen a lot and herd a lot, but im yet to hear bout a hobbit that killed a person. Help me grab those things back to the main deck" He said after picking up the captain's clothes. 13527980

Daugo shrugs, turning back and picking up the clothes and such. "There's a first time for everything, I guess," he says, a little darkly.

Iver with the help of dougo moved some of the clothes of the captain to the rest of the group and then decided to take an outfit for himself, leaving the trap on the floor for someone else to use and then went back to the captain's place.

"I shall ensure that all of us are organized for whatever course of action we shall take." said Sigeric to Dimitri, before stepping back from the edge of the ship. The northern nobleman walked towards the middle of the deck, taking note of the condition of all of the men.
"Free men of Middle-Earth," he announced, careful not to raise his voice to a point where the other slavers could hear it, "Another slaver vessel has landed only a few hundred feet away. We must organize and prepare for battle, if one should come. We need the wounded to be taken care of and bandaged immediately. Everyone should put on clothes taken from the dead slavers. Those of you who are armed and fit to fight, meet with Dimitri. Those who would be more comfortable with a bow or crossbow, gather to me. Everyone else, tend to the wounded. You have all seized your freedom today from those who would subjugate you. But ere long you must fight to keep it!"
After delivering his speech, Sigeric searched for Dean and Sam. He considered them both friends, and wanted to check on how Sam was getting along after his rescue from the slavers' torture.

As Ha'zi begins lifting supplies down to the beach some of the bystanders begin to help him. After he had carried down two of the barrels with them Lesier, who was still onboard the ship motioned to him, "Come here, boy." He lifted his hand weakly from a gaping wound that lined his torso vertically. He had been stabbed by one of the slavers. The cut had not been deep but the blade was serrated and so it bled, profusely. "Please, bring me one of the cloths." He pointed to the crate that Sigeric was addressing his wound from. "I say we do it at dawn. When the sun rises we strike, descend upon their camp from the jungle and the beach." Radaa said pointing towards their ship. Already a camp had been hastily erected on the beach and it appeared a slaver was walking across the beach waving at them. "Should we kill it?" Radaa motioned at the approaching man.

Margoz and Frieda had set off from the beach and reached the jungle line. They could work their way through the jungle bushes until they were within hearing distance of the slaver camp or they could remain on the beach with the others. If they intended to survey the enemy they needed to enter the jungle and avoid being spotted.
"Shall we?" Freida asked, her fear masked with an uncertain smile.

----------------------------

Iver and Daugo found their way past the staircase, past the dead bodies, past the bloody pools and out into the night sky. The deck was less crowded. Now only Sigeric, Deslan, Ha'zi, Lesier, and ten other slaves remained most of which carried the last of the supplies onto the beach. Both of them could see that the injured like Lesier were going to need help being carried down. Grimnir watched Dimitri take charge of the crowd from his vantage point. He saw Margoz and Freida reach the jungle line and waited, watching the slaver approach. He would maintain his distance if a fight broke out. Let Dimitri deal with it. ((This is when Sigeric's speech occurs.))

"Aye!" A shout went up from a heartened slave who walked to the gallery to steal some of the dead slaver's outfits. Five others followed him, nodding to Sigeric. One passed him and tapped his soldier, "Ye, I'm Yuri. You wanted an archer?" The man was nearing old age, perhaps 55, but stood like an ox holding a bow with a quiver of six arrows. It wasn't much but just enough.

Sigeric saw Dean sitting with his brother behind the commotion. Sam did not look as badly as before but was still quite bruised up. Dean was attempting to stitch the cuts shut but was failing. Sam needed bandaging. 12519458

"No, don't kill him. We'll see what he says. But we may need to strike preemptively." Dimitri replies. He waves back and approaches, keeping his hammer with him.

"Aye, wait for me lad" he says as he stomps through the shiny, cold sand. "But, what're we going to do if thats a trap lad?" he says while walking next to Dimitri.

"HARRO!" The man shouted at them as he approached, his boots kicking up sand as he walked. "Storm, eh? Same fer us!" He was within thirty feety. Radaa and the rest of the slaves remained back, watching. Grimnir sat silently on the beach eyeing the showdown.

"We'll smash him." he whispers. When the slaver greeted him, he said, "Aye, hit harder than I thought. We lost a few guys in the storm, few wounded. How are y'all doing?"

"Yuri, you're from Dale, aren't you? I'm glad to have another countryman on board. I'm Sigeric, in case I haven't introduced myself. Gather the other archers and crossbows and wait near the edge of the deck. Stay concealed, if you can. I'll be over there shortly."
Sigeric went to retrieve one of the makeshift bandages made from the tarps, and brought it to Dean and Sam. He used it to assist Dean in wrapping the wound. "You just won your freedom. You aren't allowed to die just yet."

Ha'zi's eyes widen upon seeing the wound, "Y-yes sir." He hurries over to the crate to look for the item.

(Didnt knew we already started)
Grimnir heads to the others, as he has his Rune-Axe once more, he feels strong. As he heads to them, he watches around him to see what is going on, and prepares himself from any ambush to be met by the Crimson Dwarf's fury.

The scorpion refused to turn. No matter how much he oiled it, tweaked it, manhandled it. It wouldn't turn to face the ship. It's rotation didn't allow it. However, if Deslan could dismount it...

"Ye, the other ships went missing. We saw yours, though. It seemed like you were signalling us for help? Did ya? And, ye, little Baroon was swept overboard by the tide along with Naeil. Who'd you loose?" The man was within speaking distance now. For a second he stopped, noticing at Thoruk's frame and size, then halted prematurely.

"Wait. What's yer name? Yer pretty small..." He said to neither of them in particular. 8861015 13615485

"Sure thing." Yuri murmured and walked off to join the rest in getting outfits before following Sigeric's orders.

"Yeah-just a couple bruises. Yeah." Sam said weakly. Dean gave Sigeric a pat, "Thanks, brother. I-" he hesitated in front of Sam before admitting, "I never really learnt how to sow or heal or any of that they taught us in Pelargir. Sorry." He said to his brother. "Should we remain on-board or carry him down to the beach like the others?" Dean pointed to four slaves who were carrying the other injured down the ropes, quite dangerously. Ha'zi found the stache of cotton wool rolled in the tarp but he didn't really know what to do. Sigeric noticed the boy having difficulty in attempting to bandage Lesier. The older Haradrim clicked his fingers then whistled at Sigeric, indicating to teach Ha'zi. 16315828

Deslan called over a handful of his haradrim goons, to hold the scorpio while he dismounted it. The scorpio was laid on the deck's railing, while Deslan took a few barrel tops and carved a hole in each of them wide enough to fit the scorpio's pole. The barrel tops were raised off the ground, so that the scorpio may rotate relatively easily. The haradrim raised the scorpio and fit the pole in the hole. They prepared its ammunition as well.

"Poor bastards, a storm is a hell of a way to go. Hell if I know, I was just tryin' to not get swept off by the storm. But now that you mention it, I haven't seen the captain since we landed. Oh, and this is just Ironhead. Dwarf from up north, picked him up when we started sailin'. He's a quiet lad, always manages to go unnoticed. Hell, the only reason the captain knows about him is because he can cook a damn fine rabbit stew." Dimitri said.
