VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

The jungle parted and they were in the clearing behind the valley. All 16 of them. Eonwe paused, halting his horse. Sigeric and Cardiloc both saw what was happening.

Above them all was Thoruk and the Shifters. They too saw Aldamos and what was happening.

Before them were the Destroyer and Dwarf Giants. The Destroyer threw another pile of rocks.

WHOOSH

They slammed into the remnants of Elodrin's charge sending rocks, bodies, horses and rubble flying into the air. Many lay dead across the city. Nearly the entire thing was bulldozed over. The Dwarf Giant was rolling boulders over to the Destroyer but stopped dead in its tracks when it saw them.

They could see Illmare slowing the lava flow with magic at the top of the mountain. Above her, at the volcano's peak was another giant. It was smaller than the Destroyer but bigger than the Dwarf at about 40-feet. It gazed down upon them like an omnipotent Eru.

"What the fack." Marco exclaimed.

Iver saw the giants attacking the city and was filled with rage, they dared attacking his property (not the people, his stuff). He looked at Thoruk and Hazi and moved his ears, showing them that he is about to screech, And so he did. His screeched like a demon from hell, for it is what he is now. Declares on his arrival and moved toward the destroyer and the city.

"Woo, that was close," Ha'zi sighs in relief as Iver readjusts his flight. He had his eyes closed for a few minutes, and when he finally opened them, he was devastated at what he saw. Another nightmarish scene, only days apart from the last time, he saw the Destroyer raining obliterating rocks down below on the city of Aldamos. Of houses being flattened. And of an entire cavalry line, crushed. He thought he saw a familiar face, but the rocks were too fast. "No. Not this monster, again", Ha'zi growled. A face came to him. Lesier. Kind, old Lesier. Dead Lesier. Anger and grief fills the boy as quickly as the rocks raining down on the innocents below. "Iver." He says sharply, "Let me down so I can kill that bastard."

"You did well, for one with less experience." Sigeric said gravely. "Your bird form contributed much to our-"
He trailed off as the group came upon the valley. He saw two giants standing amidst a field of dead men and horses. He took his longbow off of its back, gripping it tightly. He looked to Eonwe. "What is our plan?"

Dimitri rode with a fury, driving his beast on like one of the mighty knights of Rohan. They stormed over the rocky slopes of the mountain, over the sandy beaches, and right up to the slowly rotting ships he been on just a few weeks back. There it was, sticking out of the ground beneath bones. A beautifully crafted warhammer, straight from the forges of Minas Tirith. Blessed in holy waters, it had cracked skulls for years, and would once more. Dimitri rushed over, picked up the warhammer, and relished the cold touch of the steel. ¨Now, we ride to the city...¨ Dimitri said.

The scream buys the attention of the Destroyer.

"Wha-, son of a-"

The Destroyer twisted around, hands filled with rocks and tossed one into the sky at the Flying Giant.

"Neutralize the Dwarf and take out the Destroyer. I'll fight the Dwarf. Cardiloc, I'll need your help in defeating these two. Sigeric, lead the men around the Dwarf and at the Destroyer. He is the largest threat to us, currently. Then we need to support Illmare against the Elemental." Eonwe said, readying his blade.
"Any questions?"

"Aye" the mighty dwarf says as he sees 3 giants around the city "Aye lad, I guess there's some work to do for us." With fire in his eyes he would take out his axe and his eyes fall onto the giant in the vulcano "This one... it has power" he says full of energy to fight. "Let's get this rollin lads."

Iver would tell them to watch out, but he couldnt. He dived down to dodge the rock before speeding up toward the destroyer.

"Thanks." Cardiloc smiled to Sigeric, before he realised why the man had stopped speaking. "Great..." He uttered the words with a small sigh, gazing over at the destruction the Destroyer had wreaked onto the entire city. He turned back to Sigeric and Eonwe. "I could turn into an animal, something fierce," He offered to the Maiar, looking back at the fighting with desperation.

Sigeric nodded at Eonwe, and rode parallel to the line of horsemen, rallying them. "Men of Rhovanion! Our homelands may be in rivalry, but today we represent all of the North, all of Middle-Earth! Ride with me, and you will live forever!" He turned his horse toward the Destroyer. "Ere dusk this field will be red with the blood of Giants!"
He looked at Eonwe. "Give us the order, and we shall charge." Sigeric was uncertain that this was a fight that they could win, but they had no choice. They would have to slay these giants at some point. He only hoped that he would have the Shifters' support...

"Think of a great beast. A wolf or perhaps a giant bear?" Eonwe said to Cardiloc before turning and unsheathing his blade.

"We don't have a moment to loose. All soldiers charge the Dwarf Giant and slay it. Your hearts and souls to Arda!" Eonwe turns on his steed, kicking it, sending it charging at the Dwarf which watched them.

"Let's go, Card!" Radaa tapped his shoulder, passing him a dagger to cut himself and rushing towards the Dwarf Giant with Lesier's spear. Marco followed along with the other riders, charging the beast.

The Dwarf Giant was well aware of what was happening. It counter-charged, rushing towards Eonwe on all fours.

Above the charging men and giants was Iver, Ha'zi and Thoruk. His dodge worked but as he dropped Ha'z slipped, falling off the Flying Giant. The boy plummeted towards the ground. He saw the blue skies above him and heard the fighting, screaming and crying all around him. So much death. All because of these stupid giants. They killed Lesier. They killed his friends. They destroyed his city. They needed to pay. Ha'zi still had the dagger Eonwe had given him....

Iver felt Ha'zi fall but could not do anything about it. He was diving headfirst toward the Destroyer Giant.

"YOU REALLY THINK THAT'S GOING TO DO ANYTHING TO ME? YOU THINK YOU CAN STOP ME!!?!"

The Destroyer roared raising its massive fists to punch Iver out of the sky.

Sigeric shouted a battle cry as he charged with the rest of the column at the Dwarf giant. Seeing its counter charge, he broke off and circled around to flank it, nocking an arrow and firing. Hopefully some of the men would follow him.

"I have a form I think will work ." He nodded to Eonwe, turning to Radaa he accepted the dagger. "Tell the riders to gather on me when I charge, I've got an idea." He called after Radaa, cutting himself with the dagger on the shoulder. He focused on the fiercest beast that roamed the forests of Dunland and felt himself transform...

He reappeared as a giant wild boar and began to charge at the dwarf giant on all fours, easily outpacing the riders on horse back. Snorting aloud with the effort to maintain the momentum he crashed into the dwarf giant his tusks slamming into the giants face.

As the skies flew by, Ha'zi felt a sort of calmness. He could finally avenge Lesier, his friend, if he does this right. His eyes start to tear at that thought. With a smile, he pulls out the dagger, and slices his wrists. "Time to stop this hell", his last thought before he transforms.

The Hybrid's tusks cracked as they smashed into the Dwarf Giant's face. Cardiloc's boar fell back as this happened. He could see the boars had barely made a dent on the thing's armoured face. The Dwarf revealed its jaws, huge massive teeth and proceeded to bite down on Cardiloc's boar form, ripping it's head off with a single bite.

Cardiloc was ejected out of the dead body of the boar and onto the ground. The Dunlending looked up to see the Dwarf chewing on his boar's face.

Then the charge smashed into it. Spears, swords, axes and even a halberd cut into the Dwarf, though, all hits to its face were deflected. It was like it had mithril armor. Though, it's legs and back were unarmoured. Eonwe's blade ripped through its arm, nearly cutting it off.

The beast twisted and slashed its other claw at the Maia's horse, killing it with one blow. Eonwe leaped off and onto the earthen ground. The Dwarf's claw came back around and Eonwe's blade was broken by its ferocious attack. The Maia pulled out another blade, smaller, like a dagger, but much more lean and beautiful then as the Dwarf brought its claws down on him he stabbed it into its palm.
"DIE SERVANT OF MELKOR!!" Eonwe shouted, the blade sinking in and causing the Dwarf pain. It flipped back with miraculous speed, kicking Eonwe with its sharpened hind-claws, the Maia's body slashed through, crippled and fell to the ground, unmoving.

Radaa stabbed Lesier's spear into the creature's undefended back and it kicked him too, sending the man and his horse flying backward in a flurry of blood. Marco and a few of the Rhovanion men ripped through its other leg and met a similar fate. It was trashing them. And Sigeric saw its potential as an even larger threat than the Destroyer.

Iver's screeh destroyed the Destroyer's ears. The giant winced in pain and Iver was able to grab onto the creature's arm. Just then he saw, or thought he saw, Grimnir, climbing the walls of the valley near the Destroyer's head.

The Grey Beard jumped from a ledge and landed on the Destroyer Giant's back, stabbing his legendary axe into its rear as he slid down it. He used his second axe too to climb the thing, slowly making his way towards its neck.

Out of the sky a couple of arrows, as well as a scorpion bolt, hit the Destroyer's chest, one of the arrows also clipping onto Iver.

As all of this happened a white light exploded in the middle of the valley-field.

Between the Dwarf and the Destroyer stood another Giant. The Warrior Giant.

Iver screamed in pain, but started crawling on the destroyer, scratching his arm as he moved toward the head. Preaparing to make that fcker hear him roar.

Sigeric continued to circle the Dwarf Giant on horseback, firing arrows into any exposed flesh. As he passed in front of the creature, keeping a safe distance, he slowed down and drew back his bow once more. He aimed carefully for several seconds, awaiting the best opening, before releasing his arrow at the Dwarf's eye socket. If the creature saw him and focused on him, he would spur his horse forward and stop the attack in favor of evasion.

"Alright, screw it." He grumbled as he got up from the earth and ran back towards the dwarf giant transforming into the eagle again, darted straight for the wounded Radaa and grabbed him in one of his claws. In a flurry of speed it grabbed ahold of Eonwes wounded body with the other claw and flew like hell out of there to get the pair to safety.

Seething with anger, the Warrior roars with all it's might, and- grabs the Dwarf and tries to swing him as hard as he can at the Destroyer's chest.
