VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Iver woke up, and then he thought something. "The trickster talked about putting us ina prison to guard us and such. What is the maiar's plan?" He asked Vlad in a whisper. "I dont know, but we better put an eye on them" Vlad replied.

"Eonwe is dead." Sigeric said, his voice loud enough for all in the clearing to hear him. "The Guardian Giant killed him. Before he died, however, he revealed some very interesting information." Sigeric's cold eyes gazed upon the two Maiar. "The Trickster wasn't the only liar among us. Tell me, Ilmare, why did you need to deceive us?" Sigeric was careful to be vague about what Eonwe had actually revealed.

"What do you mean?" Illmare said, confused and saddened at the loss of her partner, halfway between walking off with Ha'zi.

"I never decieved you. Our mission was simple. Take the powers of the Giants, stop any from escaping the island and return you to Valinor."

Marco went over to assist Dimitri, ripping his outfit's sleeve and passed it to Dimitri. Some of the slaves were crying, some were confused and frozen in place, and others were gathering around Illmare and Sigeric.

Iver herd the things Sig said, "I told you Vlad, i bloody told you. They plan on doing the same thing as the Trickster said he will. We need to get out of here and fast" he whispered to Vlad in fear. "Calm your ass down Iver, lets listen to what they have to say, but lets do it with a distance from the group" He said moved back toward the edges of the group. On his way he cut open a melon and started to eat. He was hungry.

"Eonwe told me that he and you had lied to us. That gaining the powers of the Giants is not for the purpose you claim. If you expect us to trust you, you will tell us the truth of the matter." Sigeric was surprised at the mention of Valinor. "Neither of you had mentioned taking us to Valinor. The Door of Night is in Valinor, is it not? Why would you take us, the only ones with the power to release Morgoth, to the only place from which he could re-enter the world?"

Pyrus would go over to the corpse of the Trickster and kneel down, looking at the body he would frown and stand up looking at the group of men and women. "Who took the blade." His eyes glinted dangerously as he scanned the crowd.

"What blade?" Iver asked with a mouth full of watermelon 15756962

Dimitri had seen too much death and suffering. He had watched friends die and finally had enough. He stands up, pushes through the crowd to the front, and roars right in Pyrus' face, "A sword? There are people dying here, and your almighty ass only cares about a fucking sword?! Does it matter, you dumb oaf?! We have people that could die here. They've been through too much in the past day. They watched friends and family die in horrible ways. They don't need this right now. They need food, water, shelter, basic human fucking dignity. You and your petty agreements won't help with that."

"The Maiar Blade that the Trickster was using. Who took it." He answered seemingly ignoring the situation with Sigeric and Illmare for now. But was interrupted by Dimitri yelling at him. Looking him in the eyes he would say "The city is destroyed, all of your medical needs are inside, however by now it is burning. You have food all around you with it acting as a liquid. I can't help you when I don't have the resources to help."

"Oh that blade, now i know what you are talking about because i totally was not choking to death by the trickster after you almost smashed me" Iver replied with a sarcastic voice.

"Gotcha, Dim." Marco said, heading over to Victas who seemed to be limping.

"We lied, yes. We didn't want to tell you that we'd take you to Valinor. And no, the Door of Night is not in Valinor. It sits far in the west at the ends of Arda. Eonwe and I were instructed to take the powers of the Karoltai using your group, then to transport you to Valinor where you'd be kept safely under the watch by the Valar. You would be in Paradise and your friends would be released from the Halls of Illuvitar and your legends would be written down in the annals of history by the Vanyar." Illmare said, offended at Sigeric's accusations.
"Now, Eonwe is dead, and so are many of those who landed on this island. We have to complete our mission before the last Giant escapes. So, please," this was the first time the Maiar had ever requested anything kindly, "Can we put our arguments at bay and help everyone get away before the lava overruns this area as well."

Illmare turned to Pyrus, "It does not matter, Pyrus. Let them keep it. We're on their side and killing us won't solve anything. Come, let us heal as many of them as possible." she said, moving to Silesia and placing a palm on her forehead. "Ingram, Nokro, Este, Zelnaga." Illmare chanted, Silesia's wounds healing. Illmare walked over to another person, Victas, and repeated this action. She fixed his open wounds but could not help his broken leg. There were obvious limits to Maiar healing. Celeste was the next person she visited and healed.

Iver still thought about what the trickster said. The guy died, but he spreaded his idea and ideas? they are death proof. "Ya how about we will get ourself a meal before we leave" Iver said after he took one of his cloth pieces and started cutting watermelons on them, for the slaves to eat.

He would grumble and and head over to the nearest slave. Kneeling down he would repeat the same phrase as Illmare did. He would continue until all slaves were healed enough by either him or her.

Dimitri took a deep breathe to calm down and said, "Those that can walk should get moving, Sigeric will guide them once we are ready. Those with broken legs or arms will be carried. Take as many of these melons as you can. Illmare, do you know of any safe place here?"

"There is the cove, which is now abandoned with the death of the Guardian Giant. Other than that I cannot tell." She said to Dimitri. "It is west of us, about a day's journey."

"Very well. Eat up, rest, whatever you need to do. But in two hours, we must move unless we want to burn alive." Dimitri replied. He began to gather up watermelons and crushing it into smaller pieces for people to eat. Just little chunks, not full blown obliteration.

"Manwe." Illmare uttered the name. The sky seemed to darken for a second. Was this a sign? Or was it just the ash from the volcano?

She stood and motioned at Iver, "The waterfall will take us days. We had to cross the mountain through the caves, those caves are now covered over by lava and it will take us too long to go around the mountain and reach the waterfall. I would suggest the coast as it has a river, good defense against the last shifter and has natural fruits like coconuts spread across the beach. But, it's up to you to decide where we go." she asked them all.
