VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"Ah, alright. Carry on..." The Guard said, behind him, "Mr. Kuntsworth." He went to pick up the note just as Deslan left the royal stables and entered the high rise streets of Dale.

"Lives up near old hedge grove but don't say you heard it from me." The Guard said to Iver. It was clear he wasn't getting much out of the man.

----------

Dimitri located a clothing store still open. It was about to close as he walked in and saw the owner, a young hobbit, packing up and placing a 'Closed' sign on the front window.

"Ello, there. What can I getcha?" The little halfling inquired.

8861015

"Thank you and good night" Iver said as he walked outside of the guard's line of site. Once the guard didnt see him he walked toward the captain's house.

Deslan hopped on the horse and rode as fast as he could out of that hellhole. After he left, he kept riding as fast as he could to put as much distance between him, the hellhole and its inhabitants. He would ride south, perhaps looking for a barge to steal. His plan was to take the Forest Road and cross Mirkwood eastward. The elves shouldn't have beef with him just yet.

The cheescake was gone in less than a few seconds. "Delicious.." the dwarf thinks. "Aye, you're always welcome in our rows lad, you have your heart on the right place, may Durin be with you when we conquer back, what was rightfully ours long ago." Thoruk says towards his friend while putting his hand onto Marco's shoulder. "I don't like these Maiar guys aswell lad, but let's not try to get them against us aswell, aye?" he whispers after he took the last sip of his mug.

"Right, here, sir, if you do not mind," The Hobbit said to Dimitri, leading him towards the left corner of the shop. There black tunics, white sleeveless shirts, tailored leather coats and a variety of cheap tac-on brown-green cloaks with dark tunic and pants.

8861015

-------------

"Aye." Marco repeated taking a swig from his own ale cup. They were still waiting on Iver to pay for their meal. They could try to ditch the place but that might cause a ruckus and alert the local authorities. What would Thoruk do?

--------------

Iver found old hedge grove after some searching and road sign support. He saw multiple houses but couldn't be sure which was the Captains.

14628767

------------

Deslan didn't find a barge as he rode south. The horse carried him far but he himself become tired after nearly 4 hours. His groin ached and he needed to rest. Luckily he found the forest river which veered towards Mirkwood. He could take a pit stop here, have some water and catch some rest before continuing into that weed-whacker's nightmare of a forest.

Pyrus would continue his search for the stables. Whatever Iver did in his free time was his own business. However he did make a mental note that he may have allies in Bree.

Sadly, there were no lights on in the houses of old hedge grove. Iver could try going door to door. But, that might take a while.

14628767

----------

Pyrus found the stables after some lollygagging at a thrift store. They were near the Bree Barracks and were definitely closed for the night. Though, he could easily stroll on in and hop the fence or break it down for that matter.

----------

"That'll be seven gold." The little Hobbit said to Dimitri, who had barely any idea of what the current inflation rates were.

8861015

Iver would knock on doors till someone will give him directions to the captain's house. He had all the night ahead of him.

"Don't remember it costing so much a few years ago." Dimitri says in Forochelrim before handing the hobbit seven coins and putting on his new clothes. He tosses his old clothing into a back alley before wandering around the safer parts of Bree.

Cardiloc let out a burp and slowly stood up. He paused and turned to Eonwe for some gold coins, after that he strode over the door. Opening it he felt the cool air wash over his face as he stepped out onto the cool night life of Bree.

With a few coins in hand, Ha'zi says goodbye to the others and exits the bar. He walks out onto the street and plans on heading to the market for new clothing. So, the boy begins his walk and looks for any signs that show the direction to his destination.

As the boy is walking along, voices shouting loudly startle Ha'zi. He looks around, as the voices sounded to be coming nearby. But, to his confusion, it's only a calm street, and some people are looking at the boy curiously. A bit disturbed, he continues walking.

After a while, Ha'zi hears another voice, but one that he is very familiar with, whisper to him, "Ha'zi." Keldar? Suddenly, his head has an explosion of pain. "AGHHHH!" Ha'zi screams in pain before collapsing to the ground, everything around him going dark...

Neigh! Out of nowhere, voices and sounds fill Ha'zi's head, the sounds of a battle: horses crying out, whips cracking, men screaming orders, the injured and dying crying out in pain, weapons clashing, and wheels pounding the ground. Ha'zi begins to see a chariot with a peculiar banner riding towards an opposing army, a tall figure in golden armor at the front of the vehicle. He seems to recognize this man, but has troubling placing him, until he realizes that his must be a vision. And that man is Keldar. Daugo would stare at her for a few moments. She thought he was dead? Did she ask the slavers to see him out? Did she hope he was dead? Thoughts and memories rushed through of him as he reached for his dagger, but would stop when he remembered who was inside. "I want to see my kids."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pyrus would strode over to the stables and jump over the fence, unslinging his mace and looking around.

Cardiloc notices Ha'Zi leaving the Inn, with a moments hesitation he rushes after the Haradrim before seeing him scream out likely causing a scene. "Ha'zi, you alright?" He asks the boy leaning down next to him.

Deslan hid himself and his horse behind a rock formation tall and wide enough to hide them both out of sight. Alfrid (he still didn't know if it was the horse or the noble's name, but he was aware of an Umbarian prince appointing his mount as viceroy) happily drank from the fresh, running water while Deslan chugged from his waterskin, refilling it after. A very small hour passed and he was already following the river east.
Luincrist's thought police would've assumed he backtracked to Esgaroth to rent a barge, but a true haradrim is born stingy. The Forest River held secret passageways and paths he used for a few smuggling jobs and talk is elves don't really bother with them. It makes sense: they'd only want goods from Dorwinion, Rhun or the dwarfish realms, the Dalemen were just a checkpoint.
Go up the river, make sure the elvish patrols aren't too interested, ride southwest. It seemed easy. Too easy.

All of a sudden, the memory stops, as he hears a familiar voice. Everything fades away, and soon the boy looks up to see Card leaning down next to him, worried. "Ugh.. I'm ok. Just got woozy and passed out is all," he says. "Why are you here?" 12700073

Ha'zi would awake from the memory. It seemed that it was a battle of the First Age. Something from Keldar's memories.

Cardiloc also heard a voice.
"He is merely witnessing moments of our enslavement to the Dark Lord." It was feminine and familiar. Ilian.
"You'll have certain memories visit you now and then. And your successor shall gain your memories too. It is only natural. I'm here to guide you, Cardiloc. Our minds are tied and our fates aligned. I will be at your aid when you most need me. But for now, take care." Her voice seemed to dissipate in his mind. Cardiloc had yet to speak to her and remembered her original words. 'I will protect you.' A strange warm feeling of comfort greeted him at that thought.

--------------

Dimitri watched a certain Maia sneakly jump the fence to the stables. The same stables that he had stole a horse from. What was Pyrus doing?

Pyrus found the place desolate and dark. No one seemed to be around but the gruff sounds of sleeping horses and the wind. At that moment his genitals finally healed. He still needed to make Iver pay for that.

----------

"Ah bugger off with ya, the Captain lives down the road." One of the angry tenents told Iver.

14628767

-----------

"You have no right to come near my children, you filthy murderer. I should alert the Greenway Guard now. Give me one good reason I shouldn't go back inside and bring out my father's sword!" She exclaimed, attempting to keep her voice low enough not to wake the neighbors but high enough to sound commanding.

------------

As Deslan followed the river many eyes followed him. From the branches, from the rocks, from the mountains and from the bushes. He was being watched. And he knew it. It was awfully silent and his horse neighed here and there but no bird chirps or exotic shrew calls could be heard. Only the rustle of the wind against the newly grown spring leaves.
