VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"If you do so, I'll go with ya lad" Thoruk mumbles towards the haradrim boy after eating the last piece of his muffin. "Let's get this going, or ya wonna waste more time till Morgoth's able to start his plan?" he asks the others as he gets up from the ground.

"Thoruk is correct; we do not have long. But first, we need to lift those who cannot fit through the tunnel over the edge of the wall. We'll find a way to meet up after that."
Sigeric paused. "On the other hand, the Trickster would surely acknowledge the possibility of prisoners climbing out of the pit. It might be trapped."
Sigeric took a small piece of rope , and tossed it up towards the edge of the pit.

"Well, I'm no help with climbing and such, so I'll go back in. Good luck." Ha'zi makes his way back into the tunnel and keeps going until he sees the upper area. He tries to see where it goes. 12253360

As Thoruk sees He'zi crawling into the tunnel once again he follows him into the pretty small area, providing just enaugh space, even for a dwarf.

The rope flew up into the air and as it left the pit there was a click and an arrow flew through the air and impaled the little piece of string, perfectly hitting it. Climbing out was not an option. There was some sort of defensive system up there.

As both Thoruk and Ha'zi entered the tunnel, the runes beamed and the steel mesh began to shut, closing them in. Ha'zi and Thoruk had been locked into the tunnel. It was absolute darkness and cobwebs brushed their faces. Yet, both of them could feel a cold draft of air coming from ahead of them. The tunnel must lead somewhere.

Iver needed to tie the ropes together, Marco went over to him and started assisting him, "They taught us how to tie knots in the navy. Let's get the fack outta here."

"Well, that's not good," Ha'zi sighs. "We have to keep going, Thoruk." He picks up his pace and continues on the path.

"I don't know. Do you want me to talk to you, again?" Marco said to Iver as he patched the last of the rope up and handed it to the Dalishman.

-----

Ha'zi felt insects crawling all over him as they crawled through the tunnel. Slowly, yet, surely, a light began to appear ahead of them. Some sort of luminescence as they climbed through the tight crawl space.

"Here we are," Ha'zi proclaims, relieved to see some form of exit. Then he notices bugs crawling on him, "Ugh, gross." He quickly wipes them off, and keeps going towards the light.

Marco handed Iver the rope they had made and laughed at his joke. "What'll we do with this thang?"

----------

Ha'zi saw an entrance up ahead, light were streaming into it and he could see something dark brown in the background. Wood! A ceiling!

"For now nothing. But i think that if we manage to crawl through the tunnel and get to the top we can use this to help the others to get out." Iver said before looking for the tunnel. "Wait, where is the tunnel?" He asked surprised.

"Damn, it shut. Let me try again." Cardiloc nodded as he pressed the key and gate runes once again. "Y'know I think I'm owed a thank you for opening that tunnel." He stated to the others, waiting for a result.

"I'm going to go back and tell the others, so stay here, Thoruk, ok?" Ha'zi dashes back down the tunnel before Thoruk can really respond. Hopefully they reopened the tunnel by now... 13615485

The tunnel remained shut.

16315828 12700073 14628767

"Dang it," Ha'zi angrily muttered. He started lightly knocking on the door, "Guys! We found an exit, kinda. There seems to be a way into the house itself." He says.

"Well, thats a bummer" Iver says as Card's crack didnt reopen. "Maybe there are other runes we can press to reopen the tunnel, or another one" he continued.

The group could not hear Ha'zi as the steel mesh obstructed his voice. Only someone leaning close to that particular area of the wall, with their ears to it, would pick up what he said.
