As everything goes black for Thoruk, he suddenly awakes next to a gigantic bear. It was as majestic as dangerous. "What by Durin.." he mumbles as he stumbles back and attempts to get up. "Hahahaha." A strange laugh occured, but familiar in some way... had the bear just spoken? "Who are you?" the dwarf asks the bear, who's fletching his teeth. "He's no one, but you should recognize me, aye boy? Look up here. the strange voice told Thoruk. As he looks up, he's able to spot a dwarf on the bears back. A well built dwarf with a white beard, a scar all over his left face-side and blind on the left eye, sat on the back of this majestic bear. "You don't remember me lad? I'm Throkor." the old dwarf says as he gets down from the bear. "Well... you where to young after all" the old dwarf mumbles. "I'm your grandfather, Throkor Ironbeard, or also known as Throkur the bearhunter." Not believing what he was witnessing right now Thoruk asks "Y-you are my grandfather? By Durin, why have I never met you?" The old dwarf comes closer to Thoruk and explains "Well young lad...I've witnessed a few months of you, but I died on one of the greatest bear hunts I've ever been a part of. We hunted down this beast." the migthy dwarf says as he turns around and points towards the giant bear behind him. "We lost many good dwarfs due to the massive injuries that bugger gave us. And well Thoruk... I was one of them." The white-bearded dwarf then turns back around and puts his hand onto Thoruks shoulder. "My spirit remains within you lad and.. he turns around to look at the bear once more "and so does his spirit." he then says. "You will feel our spirits if you're heavily in need of them boy. I might be dead, but I'll still protect my kin with all that's left." Then the migthy dwarf suddenly starts to fade and so does the bear. Before Thoruk was even able to respond to what just happend everything went dark once more.
