VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Ha'zi stared at the charred remains of the group of Sentinals he tried charging, some still smouldering. The boy finally noticed the Hybrid Giant, Cardiloc, alive, with great joy, his anger passing. He smiled at his friend, tears streaming down his face, then followed the elves into Rivendell.

"Hazi I'm going to watch the skies," The dragon informed the Haradrim, before taking off into the sky his wings a mass of wind.

Sigeric sheathed his rapier, after wiping off the blood. "They are kin to those who abducted Eonwe." he explained to Marco. He followed the Elves. Their group would have quite a bit of explaining to do.

As everything goes black for Thoruk, he suddenly awakes next to a gigantic bear. It was as majestic as dangerous. "What by Durin.." he mumbles as he stumbles back and attempts to get up. "Hahahaha." A strange laugh occured, but familiar in some way... had the bear just spoken? "Who are you?" the dwarf asks the bear, who's fletching his teeth. "He's no one, but you should recognize me, aye boy? Look up here. the strange voice told Thoruk. As he looks up, he's able to spot a dwarf on the bears back. A well built dwarf with a white beard, a scar all over his left face-side and blind on the left eye, sat on the back of this majestic bear. "You don't remember me lad? I'm Throkor." the old dwarf says as he gets down from the bear. "Well... you where to young after all" the old dwarf mumbles. "I'm your grandfather, Throkor Ironbeard, or also known as Throkur the bearhunter." Not believing what he was witnessing right now Thoruk asks "Y-you are my grandfather? By Durin, why have I never met you?" The old dwarf comes closer to Thoruk and explains "Well young lad...I've witnessed a few months of you, but I died on one of the greatest bear hunts I've ever been a part of. We hunted down this beast." the migthy dwarf says as he turns around and points towards the giant bear behind him. "We lost many good dwarfs due to the massive injuries that bugger gave us. And well Thoruk... I was one of them." The white-bearded dwarf then turns back around and puts his hand onto Thoruks shoulder. "My spirit remains within you lad and.. he turns around to look at the bear once more "and so does his spirit." he then says. "You will feel our spirits if you're heavily in need of them boy. I might be dead, but I'll still protect my kin with all that's left." Then the migthy dwarf suddenly starts to fade and so does the bear. Before Thoruk was even able to respond to what just happend everything went dark once more.

The skies were cleared and the sun began to rise into full view. Cardiloc saw not a single fireball and heard no more dreadful blasts.

Iver's frost breath put out most of the fires whilst the elves shoveled bucketfuls of water onto the remaining ones.

Everything seemed to calm down. The dead had been gathered to one corner of Rivendell and guarded whilst the other soldiers went back to their worried families. Thoruk was picked up by Marco and awoken, Iver and Cardiloc saw no need to remain in Giant form, Grimnir was allowed to leave unless anyone stopped him, Daugo attempted to leave but Dimitri grabbed him and kept him on their path.

The elves in command, Glorfindel and Maglor led Deslan and the Shifters to a council, and even though they had brought ruin and death upon Imladris the Noldor were still hospitable. Baskets of fruit, glasses of wine and water, salads and steaks were all offered to them.

The council room had many seats for it was the same council that the Ring Bearers fates were decided long ago. Everyone could find a chair to lounge on.

Glorfindel took Elrond's old chair whilst Maglor and Elladan took seats next to him. They let the newcomers eat in peace and rest, awaiting their explanation.

((If anyone wants to stop Grimnir, say now or he departs the group without any knowledge of the plans in place.))

The dragon saw Grimnir attempting to leave, and flew down towards him. "Dwarf." He growled to the old dwarf. "What are you doing?"

"Mhh" Thoruk grumbles as he opens his eyes. "Aye, Marco, thanks for getting me of that bridge lad" he says as he realises that the fight was over. He starts to get up and looks towards the elves "What have I just witnessed" he thinks. "Food? Well.. I'm down to that" he mumbles. "Aye lad." he shouts towards one of the elves. "Is there any place we can stay over night?" he asks.

Ha'zi sits down on a lounge chair across from the elves. He spends his time reading from the Mumakil book while waiting for the others.

Grimnir looks at the dragon, while grabbing all his weapons ready to leave. "Doing what I Should've done a long time ago." He says as he readies his horse, he points at Thoruk "Do you think that Wazzock Will save his father? He'll stumble with his weak heart at the next lass he sees. Ill take matters in my own hand." So said the legendary grey dwarf, heading toward the bridge of Rivendell on his horse. "Perhaps our travels Will cross again, cardiloc. I actually am certain of it."

"Your turning your back on the world! Your nothing more than a coward." Came the dragons angry response. "If you won't come with me willingly, I'll grab you with my claws and pluck you into that damned council. Come with me now, final warning." He warned the dwarf menacingly.

Grimnir ignored the dragon's rage and continued his way, how glorious he looked when riding the horse. Words couldnt describe it.

((The entire Cardiloc-Grimnir scene occurs in a time-bubble before the council event. Finish it and either Grimnir will be in the council or shall have left Rivendell.))

"There are plenty of places for you to rest in," Elladan said to Thoruk.
Maglor began whispering in Glorfindel's ear when a new elf walked in and took a seat next to the dark-haired Maglor. The room had quieted with the entrance of the new elf. He was tall as all of the elves seemed to be, had light blonde hair, almost white in appearance like Glorfindel and moved with grace. He bore no blades and wore a white cloak.

"Hello there. I am Celeborn, Lord of Lothlorien. Who are you and what has happened here today?" He inquired, allowing for the shifters and Deslan to introduce themselves and explain.

"Stubborn dwarf." He muttered, flying over to the dwarf and grabbing him with his claws. The horse left there in a state of shock. With the 'legendary dwarf' likely left in his claws flailing about he turned towards Rivendell. "We're going to the council wether you like it or not." He informed Grimnir in a gruff tone flying towards the council.

Grimnir, not impressed is in his über taxi, flying. Given another reason to cleave the dunlending when he put Him down, or break his bones when he's in the air.

Cardiloc soared down towards the council, dropped Grimnir on his ass and then settled down in the woods. His dragon head leaning in to face the others. "I am Cardiloc of Dunland. " He introduced himself plainly.

"Deslen, how about you will answer this question" Iver the guy who suspiciously shot a flaming glowing thing into the air right before the chaos started. 6427581

Grimnir walks back towards his horse, pets it, and continues his journey. He knows that if the Dragon returned, it will be his last returning. As he eats Some elvish delight, he heads to Moria West.
