"HAHAHAHAHA!!!! He is a smart one!" The man roared as Sigeric rode past him. They made no effort to stop him and seemed to all be giggling like overexaggerated hyenas. Another two days of riding brought him to the Old Forest Road, which, much to Sigeric's surprise had been paved again and looked much cleaner and safer, though, he shouldn't let his guard down.

The eastern gate lay two days of travel through the darkness of the mountain. Grimnir noted that the inhabitant of this place may still be lurking about. Durin's Bane. The Balrog that had destroyed the Dwarven Capital of Middle-Earth and slain its peoples, its king and halted its most valuable trade. Mithril. Of which he had yet to find any. Strange. He had a tingling sensation of being watched, yet, no matter where he looked he could not find life. As Grimnir ventured deeper into the depths he found himself climbing down into the depths. After nine hours of clanking and clambering through the darkness, he reached the vaults and graves of the Kings. Before him lay a labyrinth of stone and doors. Above each door was a nameplate. He passed many: Nain I, Durin VI, Borin until he reached the last at the end of the halls. Durin 'the Deathless' I. The irony was almost painful. Would Grimnir recite anything before he entered the Tomb of one of the greatest dwarves known to history?

"It is the Enedwaith. The grassy plains adjacent to Dunlend, Master Burgins." Celeborn said as more riders filtered out into a long-ranged scouting formation. They rode onwards until a rider returned from the column at the east.
"My lord, a dozen tribesmen sighted to the eastern hills. They seem to be watching us but have yet to engage." Then he rode off again to his post.
They continued until nightfall and many of the scouts returned to set up camp and rest. The regular cook started up a fire with a pot of cabbage, carrot and mutton stew to boil. As always, the elves knew how to cook and Daugo found his stomach satisfied. The night was long as he nestled in his tent, wolves howling in the distance. He had nothing to be afraid of? Right? The elves could protect him and even if they couldn't, he was the Behemoth Giant. He had seen its powers through Andreth's eyes. The explosions, the damage, the destruction. He would be fine. Or would he?
Sleep came to him and he awoke in the bitter cold haze of dawn. Many of the elves were up and Lord Celeborn was counseling with some of the officers. They packed up camp, mounted up and rode onwards to the fords of Isen. It was there Daugo saw the Rohirrim. They were a blonde people with green and brown eyes and wore chain and plate and carried a green flag with a steed upon it, they typically were riding great horses that put even the Noldorin ones to shame. Nevertheless, the Rohirrim allowed them to pass after some consultation with Celeborn and the Noldorin column continued, passing into the hilly plains of Rohan. Here Daugo could see the two mountain ranges. The great Misty Mountains far off in the distance and closer were the white stoney mountains to the south.
"The Ered Nimrais," Celeborn said to the Hobbit, "They are a natural barrier for the Reunited Kingdom. They have some of the finest marble stone in Middle-Earth."

The turret was thrown into the air with its pilot and destroyed. The Guardian pilot fell to the ground and slowly got back up, unsheathing his Maiar-blade as he saw Pyrus approach. He stood up and faced Pyrus and at that point the fallen Maiar recognized the emblem on the Guardian's chest. The symbol of Aule...
