VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"Woah, hold on. Back up a bit. Iver?" His father pushed him off with one hand whilst he sipped some wine.

Eomer scratched his beard whilst his wife whispered to him before he returned to his normal pose and answered, "I will consider this news and discuss it with my advisors. You may remain in my lands for the next week, Celeborn, however, I do expect you not to cause any problems and to bury any manure your horses pile up outside of Edoras."

"We shall be leaving on the morrow, your gace." Celeborn said, bowing. The elves bowed too and the Noldorin tapped Daugo's shoulder, indicating it was time to leave. They exited the Golden Hall and walked down the staircases of Edoras, heading for the gates.

"Well done, Master Burgins. That may have not convinced them but it was the truth, or as close to what is truth for them." Celeborn said to Daugo on their flight out.

Sigeric continued to ride, barely able to even think through the cacophony of voices. He put his hands over his ears in a vain attempt to block them out. The noises became so deafening that his other senses were drowned out entirely, and he lost focus of both vision and touch. Sigeric desperately tried to focus his thoughts on anything other than the voices.

"True." Iver's father replied, "Where the fuck have you been? You look like you're twenty. And who the fuck is that?" He motioned towards Marco with the wine glass.

"Who the fack are you?" Marco retorted.

"No, who the fuck are you?" Iver's dad demanded.

Another voice entered the mix.

"Hello, Sigeric." It was her voice. The Guardian Shifter. "I am Berra. I've been here for some time, going through your mind. It appears someone has unlocked your true ability. What you're going through, you need to focus. Think about someone you love. The most in the world. Or the place you want to be in. The place you love the most. Think of the strongest emotion and be there. Forget about everything else." Berra telepathically spoke to him. Alfrid Kuntsworth continued on the way as Sigeric was mentally spasming.

"Hazi it's the rest of the world or them, we must get to Mordor to defeat Morgoth. Let me try talking to them." He answered the boy in a booming voice, he turned his attention to the scions of manwe and spoke. "Scions of Manwe, we seek no conflict with Manwe we have been charged by Eonwe to defeat Morgoth. We are not his servants and owe no servitude to him. We gained our powers on that island we are not his early experiments." The dragon called down to them.

"MANWE HAS NO NEED OF YOU. YOU ARE A THREAT TO THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE WORLD. SURRENDER YOURSELVES TO THE VALAR AND YOUR FATES SHALL BE DECIDED AMONGST THE COUNCILS OF VALIMAR!" The one with the sword to the old man's neck shouted at Cardiloc. The old man spat on his foot and the Maia kneed him in the face, breaking his nose.

"if you kill that man, all of you shall perish most painfully. I count three karoltai against a bunch of Maiar Mage PUSSIES. Unhand that man and we shall let you flee. Otherwise you will all burn." He licked his lips, his belly heating up.

"Fine, but not him," Iver's father said looking at Marco with mistrust, "He smells like shit, and so do you, but at least you're fifty percent me."

---------------------

"You wouldn't dare, you little shit. You're just a bunch of horses and Morgoth's going to be riding your asses' through the Dagor Dagorath." The Maia placed his sword at the old man's throat.

"Go ahead, do it. I've lived a good life." He said to the Maia.

"Henrik, stop goading him." His wife said, who was also under a blade next to her husband. The old woman was badly burnt on one side of her face and was visibly roughed up.

As Thoruk closes the distance between him and the migthy gate some thoughts flash through his head. "A battle occured for sure" he thinks as he looks at the giant bolders and the burned trees "Aye, kinda happy to see dale n erebor getting along so well, wonder what happend here." he asks himself. He turns towards a dwarf outside the gate and nods towards him "Aye lad, could ya tell me where the king is?"

"What do you braindead scum not understand? We. Are. Not. Servants. Of. Morgoth." He roared to the Maiar, clearly quite pissed off.

"King Thorin's inside the throne room, brother." The longbeard dwarf said, pulling a wagon out of the city gates.

"It makes no difference. You have powers which shouldn't exist. Come down from there or I slit his throat in front of his wife. I don't want to do this but I will." The Maia said and Ha'zi recognized him from before. It was Mineltar, the one who took Eonwe. Cardiloc saw it too and remembered him. The Captain of the Scions of Manwe.

Iver's father held open the door and let the man in, then shut it swiftly in Marco's face. The inside of the house was spacious. Chandeliers hanged from the roof and various swords, hunting trophies, arts and commemorative decorations were spread out across the walls. Two hallways split off at the end of the front section, one leading to the north wing and the other to the south wing of the house. The area was very clean and neat with not a spec of dust on any of the tables, chairs, and couches.

"So, mind telling me where the fuck you went after I sent you to Bree?" Iver's father said, walking over to one of the couches and plumping down.

Marco sort of loitered outside, walking around and looking about, trying not to seem supicious.

Grimnir continues to head for erebor, and on the way hunt Some Animals, there Should be plenty, he thought as he readied his Axes, splitting and sharpening Some Large sticks, making Some javelines.

Sigeric cleared his mind, and pictured his family's ancestral home. Redhaven. He saw it clearly in his mind: A sizable town where the River Running met the Redwater, dominated by an imposing fortress on a hill above the water. Sigeric's house had its roots in the old Kingdom of Rhovanion, and had controlled one of its major provinces. When the kingdom collapsed, they had continued to exist as an independent territory. That changed when the Kingdom of Dale was restored, and Sigeric's family chose to swear fealty. They had continued to prosper due to their position along the trade route to Dorwinion, though the houses in the capital continued to view them as irrelevant. Sigeric's mind was transported to the great hall within the fortress, where he occupied the seat at the head of the room. Wait, that was not right. His father was Lord of Redhaven, and Sigeric was not even his heir. His mind corrected himself, and he pictured the dining hall, where he sat alongside his family.

Hunting would add another two days to the trip. Grimnir caught a wild swine in the foothills of the Misty Mountains and it would take another four days to reach the crossing at the Carrock. He saw a couple of large hairy men there, which blocked him from passage. They demanded he pay the toll to cross, which was apparently a gold coin.

------------

The voices droned out into a haze of white noise in the background until they were all but gone. Sigeric then heard the voices of his family.

"Another boring hearing. Ugh." His oldest brother seemed to say.
"Winter's cold is nearly over and we still have a lot of the harvest. These are good days, indeed." His mother spoke.
"The fish populace is declining. I blame the Easterlings." His second oldest brother said.
His father was quiet, however, and slowly Redhaven's dining hall faded out.

"You have a strange power, Sigeric." Berra's voice cut in. It seemed all the other voices had been quieted.

Dale lay ahead of him.

"You would murder an innocent? What kind of protectors of Arda are you if you just kill whoever you want!" Cardiloc shouted down at them. "Let the man go, let us settle this ourselves. We both have Morgoth as a common enemy, if you choose to engage us you will only weaken the resistance against that black terror."

"Unlike you, I have not lost faith in the Valar! SURRENDER NOW OR I KILL HIM!!" Mineltar shouted at the dragon, his hand nearly shaking as the blade rubbed against the throat of the old man.

12700073

"King Thorin!?" Thoruk asks, yet a bit to late for the other dwarf to answer it. He walks through the gate and looks around. "Finally a place worth to stay a while" he thinks as he enters the mountain, knowing that there would be no elves and heads towards the throne room.

"Stop it!" Ha'zi angrily shouted down, "All the Valar have done is order your kind to needlessly kill innocents! They're as bad as Morgoth! And if you kill that man there, you'll be just as bad as the Dark Lord himself! So, please, don't do this! It won't help anyone."
