VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Daugo blinked. He had expected the man to at least give him a blunted sword.

"Don't I get like a sword or something?" he said, lunging towards the man during the last syllable and attempting to smack his shin.

"Come here ya little bugger" Thoruk shouts towards the charging giant. In order to withstand the charging giant's attack he tries to use the stones and earth UNDERNEATH the charging giant as a shield as he uses his wind-powers in order to carve them out of the earth and make the new giant fall as fast as possible. In conclusion to that he would use the carved out pieces of stone and earth/dirt to make a shield for himself.

"You have it." The Lord said, expecting one of them to speak. Since neither Ha'zi nor Cardiloc spoke, Miriel began.

"My lords, my ladies," she addressed the Lord and all those in the keep. "Forgive the intrusion. I am the daughter of Lord Annthiel of Langstrand. Before you dismiss us, please listen. These people with me are heralds of fate. They bring tidings of a coming doom from the Dark Lord Morgoth. They have entrusted me with informing the peoples of our land and so I come to you today in order to fulfill that duty." She then left it to Ha'zi to speak. Ela held up Cardiloc. It fell to Cardiloc to be in charge now. He had a choice. Leave them with the current warning, add more to it or wait for Ha'zi or Miriel to continue. Would Cardiloc take this leadership position? Was he even ready for it? He was a young man but had not been entrusted with such responsibility.

The man swiftly turned, grabbing Daugo's outstretched hand, pulling the hobbit onto his back in one quick move and slamming Daugo onto the ground with a sheer velocity the hobbit did not think was capable for any living being. One second he was staring at the man's shin and the next he was staring up at the marble roof, his back in agony as it had been smashed against the wooden floor.

"Stand." He commanded.

-------

The earth beneath the Armoured Giant was slow to form and the Armoured was already into his charge to be slowed down by it. His feet raked through the cracks and Thoruk saw him angle his right shoulder up as he nearly reached him. The next events were a blur.

He had managed to make a thin layer of rocks to cover his front but the Armoured Giant smashed through them like they were ice. His shoulder smashed into the Elemental's head and the sheer impact of the force sent Thoruk hurtling backward through the air and smashing into the valley sides of the Lonely Mountain. The Elemental's lower jaw was cracked and hanging slightly open from the force and he was lucky to be alive. His body, however, had been pierced through by multiple trees that he had crashed through. He was healing and still up to fight, however, badly damaged he may be.

The Armoured was slowly walking towards him, following the crater that Thoruk had created in the ground when he was bashed into.

Iver saw Thoruk had been fucked and that he had a chance. The Armoured was no longer charging.

Shit, Thoruk is about to get himself killed. Iver thought before dashing toward the armoured giant, using the distraction of the elemental giant to close the idstance. On the way he used his Echo ability to locate the exact location of the shifter, the nape as usual. He dashed toward it, hoping that the armoured bastard wont notice him.
Upon getting close to the nape Iver released a very strong screech (twice as strong as the first one) and if possible quickly moved to breathing frost on the giant's nape. He then attampt to use the frozen layer to pull out the shifter out of his giant using his claws to dig in.

Dimitri grunted and put his bundle on the ground before dismounting and cutting his hand with his needle dagger, which he put into his bundle with his warhammer. His purpose was to climb the stone leading up to the top of Minas Tirith. "On the first day, there was laughter and strength. Tulkas beheld the might of Eru Illuvatar, and felt joy." Dimitri recited. Once he transformed, he gently grabbed his bundle and began to climb as quickly as possible.

"Of course," the Lord said, "My parents educated me about the History of Beleriand." This caught Cardiloc off guard. Miriel waited on him to continue.

The screech drew the attention of the Armoured Giant. It shook its head in pain whilst Iver’s frost breath froze the armor behind its neck but he couldn't cut through. It was too dense for his claws to event make a dent let alone a scratch. And the frost just coated the armor, not the skin beneath, making it more difficult to penetrate.

The daze left the boy and he smiled inside the nape of the Giant, he had anticipated this. The Flyer wouldn't let the Elemental perish. He had laid the bait. And now time for the catch.

Before Iver realized it, a giant fist came around and swatted him out of the sky, sending both Iver and Sigeric to the floor. Iver's wings were damaged but healing and he had dropped Sigeric in the fall. The man was a dozen meters from the Armoured and the Giant didn't seem to have seen him.

With the Elemental damaged heavily and the Flyer unable to take flight, the Armoured Giant turned around and went for the prize. The Flying Giant.

Iver saw him walking over and reaching his hand down to grab him. Iver couldn't fly at the moment and time seemed to slow as the daunting realization that he was about to die came upon him.

”Fight.” The man said, standing back, form still and straight.

It was clear to Daugo that this exercise would be useless, that he would probably have better luck hitting a rock wall. Nonetheless, he tried to ease into the man's range instead of charging, and had in mind an upper cut into his crotch.

As he fell from the sky Iver didn’t know what was worse, being outsmarted by a child or getting smacked by his giant slow hand even though he had was the fastest giant with the best sight. Actually, he knew, it was the pain.
Iver watched the giant's hand came closer, ready to smash him. All he felt was bitterness and sadness, the anger was replaced by depression. He couldn’t avenge his father's death, he was too weak to do so and now he is about to get killed by the same guy. For the first time in what he thought was his entire life Iver gave up, he was defeated and even if he won this fight what next? They couldn’t defeat a single child that morgoth sent to defeat him, what chance do they face against the dark lord himself?
In fact, it was kinda funny, tiny men opposing the great all mighty Valar. What chance did they have?
He started laughing in his bat form, which was probably weird to whoever saw him. No, he will have the last laugh, he will make sure that this won’t end like a joke, this will end like a hero tale.
He got up, he saw Sig and the giant didn’t see him. If he could lure the giant above Sig he could transform and blow him to hell and back. Iver started crawling on the ground, trying once again to get out of the reach of the armored giant in a hope that he will either crouch above Sig or even move closer to him.

The man remained still. Waiting for the strike to come. Analyzing each of his opponent's moves.

The Armoured slowly changed route in order to have a straight line at Iver and began to pick up pace, walking faster now. He would get his freedom. He would return to the others a hero. He was a hero. All these people, all of them disgusted him. How dare they be given a life when he was stripped of one? Why did it have to be them? Why couldn't it have been him? It was sickening. They probably think I'm a monster. But I had no choice. I have to do this. For me. For my friends. For my life.

The Armoured Giant began to charge directly towards Iver. Unfortunately for the Armoured Giant, Sigeric happened to be in his way. Another life snuffed out. What did it matter? He hadn't been able to enjoy even a molecule of one. Fortunately for Sigeric, the Armoured Giant was completely unaware of the fact that this was the Guardian Shifter.

"Huh?" The dunlending hadn't anticipated this. "Then surely you will understand how much of a threat he is to the safety of Middle Earth, we've been sent by the herald Eonwe to warn all free peoples from his return. As strange as my company may look I assure you we are telling the truth." The Dunlending replied to the elf lord.

"Yes. However, if Morgoth is returned, then where are the Valar? And more importantly, where is Eru Illuvitar?" The elf Lord countered.

Daugo made to punch upwards before throwing himself to the floor on his rear, attempting to hit his trainer's knee. It was not a particularly smoothly-executed maneuver.

Sigeric felt a spike of pain driven through him as he hit the ground, the breath knocked out of him. Reaching towards his chest, he felt the gaping wound where the metal rod had pierced him. He watched as Iver maneuvered to place him directly between the Armoured and Flying giants. As the former began to charge forward, Sigeric relived the ruin of the palace, seeing the bodies strewn amidst the rubble. It mattered not who this enemy Shifter was. He would pay for the destruction with his life. Sigeric's eyes were filled with morbid resolve as he focused, timing his transformation to the last possible moment.

Since my last post would just get everyone triggered...

Dimitri grunts and dismounts his horse. He'd have to do this the old fashion way: boots on the ground and iron in hand. He readies himself, with warhammer in hand, and begins pushing his way through the crowds to the top of the city.

The show cant stop. Iver thought as he slowly crawled away from the armoured giant, he could go faster but he pretended that he ran out of strength. Now it is up to Sig to Blast that wanker to the sky, Iver was tired from being the only flying giant around.

The trainer was about to grab Daugo before he fell back and got a kick off on his knee.

"Gah," The man groaned, breaking his facade for a second before resuming his form and stoic stance.

"Good. Learn to use unusual attacks. Your opponent will analyze your movements, so continue to seek out new fighting styles, lest you wish to be countered against, Burgins." He said, before leaving the room and returning with two wooden sticks. Each had been carved to the precise width and length of spears, with the exception of the missing spearhead. The man handed one stick to Daugo and kept the other to himself.

"Strike me with the stick." He said, moving a few paces backward.

It took five hours but he finally made it. His feet bled from all the damn walking and the only obstacle facing him was not one but five armed Citadel Guards holding the gateway to the seventh level of Minas Tirith.

8861015

----------

DUSH DUSH DUSH DUSH DUSH

The Armoured Giant thundered towards Sigeric, oblivious to what was about to happen.

WHOOOO-KRUSSSH

"Wh-?" The boy barely got out the words as an explosion of steam and heat knocked him sideways, sending him hurtling into the ground, face-first. He tried to stand but saw his entire left foot had been consumed by the explosion. He saw it then. The Guardian.

"Damn, it. Another one." He said to himself, "I'll need help to fight all three but I can't afford that luxury. My friends are counting on me, I have to do this!" He urged his healing to quicken as he began to crawl away from the new Giant, heading for open ground and climbing the hillsides of the Lonely Mountain with his hands.

The Guardian saw the Armoured making an escape. The Elemental was too weak to fight him and Iver's wings were still damaged. He himself was immobile and couldn't chase after the damn thing.

12519458 14628767 13615485

Sigeric concentrated his energy to create a great longbow, nearly 15 meters tall. He drew it back, and began to summon a giant arrow with an armor-piercing bodkin point, nocked to the string. He examined the enemy giant, searching for gaps in the armor.

Iver wasnt that far from Sig and crawled toward him. He scritched so Sig will notice the tiny bat, and maybe tell em what are his plans.
