VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

They rode up to the Citadel Guards who blocked Dimitri. One of them raised his hand to stop them but his partner grabbed it and stopped him.

"They're Lord Celeborn's friends. Guests of the King. Steel yourself, Elberon."

"But, that one-" He said looking at Dimitri, "He-fine." He quieted as they passed.

They reached the top of the citadel and Dimitri saw a couple of groups had gathered around the rock formations and near the fountain. He saw the White Tree of Gondor, blooming and the Fountain Guard who stood silent and still.

He saw a couple of figures he recognized. Cardiloc, Ha'zi, and a little girl with them...what? Also a young redhead. They were near the edge of the rock, peering down at the rest of Minas Tirith.

((Time-skipped the Card-Ha'zi-Miriel-Ela journey. I expect Card just beelined for Minas Tirith and turned up as the second fastest group.))

A couple of dwarves had been watching the fight from the road and many Dalish riders began to appear, circling around the Giant. The Guardian Giant. Did they mistake Sigeric as the threat?

"SURRENDER THE BOW!! FIEND!!" One of the riders called up at him.

"I assure you, our words are true," The Dunlending remained unwavering and confident. "The Ainur provided no such support and I have seen the proof. You fool yourself by remaining so blindly loyal to gods who have no care for you. But that is not why I've come here, I came here to warn you about the return of Morgoth. Did you not hear what I said? We must band together to fight against Morgoth because the Valar will give us no such support. Bickering about the false innocence of the Valar achieves nothing." The dunlending argued back. 12253360

"Guards." The Lord said, "Seize them." The elven soldiers surrounding Cardiloc, Ha'zi, Ela and Miriel began to converge in on them.

"Run!" Miriel said, pushing Ela towards the entrance and grabbing Cardiloc, dragging him away.

Sigeric screamed internally as he saw the shifter disappear into thin air. To make matters worse, a group of Dalish riders began to encircle him. It was as if some omnipotent cosmic entity was trying to make his life as miserable as possible. Sigeric recalled his consciousness to his own body, in the now-familiar crystal beneath the ground. He was tempted to just stay there, honestly. He willed the crystal to open, and climbed out of the underground chamber. Hopefully, the riders would be too focused on the unmoving shell of his giant to notice him immediately, but knowing the omnipotent cosmic entity in question, they probably would.

Iver left his bat shell and walked toward Sig "What are you looking at?" he asked the staring dwarves "never seen a transformer movie? shifter before?"

To the western points of Edhellond were ledges and beneath them the sea which crashed upon the rocky cliffs which held the elven haven up. The guards were well on their tail, chasing them out.

"What's this 'idea'?!" Miriel exclaimed as she carried Cardiloc along. It was surprising to see a woman carrying a Dunlending around but the world was full of surprises. Ela and Ha'zi were running at full speed ahead of them, Miriel and Card were the slowest since he was out of energy.

"ATTACK!!" The Dalishman shouted as he charged the Guardian's legs and stabbed it multiple times. His comrades joined in the murder of the feet. Sigeric's shard was located directly beneath it but he crawled out of the dirt, about two meters away from the enraged and engaged horsemen. They were too busy stabbing the damn carcass to take notice of him. He saw Iver some meters ahead talking to himself like a madman, again. Where the hell was Thoruk? Had that idiot of a bat forgot to get him? So many had died and for what? Now Luincrist would be in charge, the thought disgusted him and the Armoured Shifter was still alive. That boy...what Sigeric would do to him when they found him....

Around them more people began to stop and watch.

"OUR CHOSEN WARRIOR!!" One dwarf shouted as Thoruk dragged himself towards Iver.

"Aye, laddie," he said, his voice weak, "That was not a good idea." He said.

12519458 14628767

"No shit Thoruk, at least you didnt try and stop him with your bare hands alone" Iver said and helped the dwarf to get up. "Sig get that hollowhead of your here" he continued.

Daugo was already a bit out of breath by the time he was given the stick. 'Damn,' he thought, 'I need to lose some weight.' He was absolutely surprised by the fact that he'd been able to get a hit on the man, but he didn't let this for a second make him cocky. He knew he was impressively inept at fighting.

He took the stick and tried to take advantage of his hallmark hobbit-aim to fling it at the man. Not a jab, not a swing, but a toss. A martial genious.

"Thanks Iver lad, not well thought about what I was going to do, but still, at least he didn't hurt any dwarf." Thoruk says as he approaches one of the dwarves. "Hope no one got hurt lads." he says to his kin before remembering his axes, who he had left in the town. "I need to get them back as soon as possible." he thinks as he waits for any reaction frim the others about what had just happend.

The stick was knocked out of the air and bounced off a wall by the man's stick. He had easily blocked the toss with his own stick and now Daugo was unarmed. His stick rolled on the floor a few feet away from him, to the left side of the room.

"Again."

The Dalishman were still attacking the decaying corpse of the Guardian Giant when more people swarmed out to see it.

"I dun't think so?" The dwarf answered Thoruk, looking about for any casualties. There didn't seem to be any on the road between Dale and Erebor.

"Good.." he mumbles before turning towards the dalishman. They were attacking, what he assumed were the left overs from his friend's giant, he walks towards them with a facepalm. "Lads" he says to them. "That's none of our enemies, he's one of us." he addes quite calmly. "He also protected your city with his life, like Iver and I did." he says looking towards them, waiting for any answer. With his kin backing him up if needed, he feels quite confident that the dalishman wouldn't mistake him for an enemy aswell.

"What? This is the thing that destroyed the palace! How is it one of us?!" One of the Dalishman turned around and stopped cutting the Guardian's legs. "I have respect for dwarves, but please, mind your own damn business." He muttered before turning back to cut the beast down.

Sigeric emerged from the ground covered in dirt and saw Iver had landed and that Thoruk was attempting to reason with the Dalish horsemen.

A dwarven legion appeared out of Erebor with a couple siege weapons. They approached the Guardian and with an order in Kuzdul, shot a barbed ballista bolt at it, hitting the shoulder and reeling it back in. The Guardian's body collapsed and they began to cut into the decaying flesh which streamed into the air as steam.

Dimitri looked at wonder at the White Tree. Last time he heard of it, it was dead, but now, it blossomed once more. Perhaps there was hope for the West!

"Disembark, friend." Glorfindel said to Dimitri as he unhorsed himself and handed the steed over to one of the Citadel Guards.

"I suppose it's time to meet the others. Would you not agree?"

8861015

"I suppose." Dimitri replied. He got off his horse and approached the rest of the group, with his bundle still strapped to his back and his warhammer in hand. "Seems that we arrived before the northerners."

The King's Palace was situated above the highest hill in Dale.

Iver and Thoruk along with Sigeric were on the road between Erebor and Dale, returning would take quite a while.

Although their fortunes were not shining on this day, some ease came when Marco rode up along the road with a horse in tow.

"Hey, you didn't say anything about a Giant battle, Iver!" He yelled at the Dalishman as he came around, "Now, hop on and let's get outta this fack-ridden hole."

"Northerners? Aren't you one?" Glorfindel asked, quizzically inferring to Dimitri's roots. Though, it was impossible for this elf to guess he was a Forochelrim. Perhaps he was implying Dimitri to be a Dunedain or some sort of Bree-man.

Up ahead was Cardiloc, Ha'zi and two females. One was just a girl and the other seemed to be a young woman.

Cardiloc could hear Dimitri approaching them. They sat near the edge of the Citadel, overlooking Minas Tirith and the Pellenor.
