So I guess I'll communicate via here. FOR LOTRO:
At some point all of you members of our group will have to choose a crafting vocation. Each vocation has three skills. The vocations are as follows:
Armorer (prospector, metalsmith, tailor)
This allows you to mine and smelt minerals, which you can use in metal armor that you craft. You can also make light armor out of leather and such. I recommend that our GUARDIAN choose this, as the guardian is the one who will need armor the most, and he can make armor for others.
Explorer (tailor, forester, prospector)
The explorer can gather minerals and wood, so this guy is the supply man for the team, collecting wood for weapons and metal for weapons and armor. As a tailor you can also make light and medium armor for the team. I suggest this for one of our HUNTERS.
Armsman (weaponsmith, prospector, woodworker)
This guy can gather minerals, which he can use to make weapons for the team. He can also use wood that the forester gathers to make bows, clubs, and other wooden weapons for the team. I recommend this for our CHAMPION.
Tinker (jeweler, prospector, cook)
A tinker can gather gems and minerals necessary for him to make beautiful jewelry which can also give bonuses to the team, for instance a necklace of extra morale. The person can also cook, but cannot gather foodstuffs for his recipes. Since the jeweler can also make runestones, I recommend this for our RUNE-KEEPER.
Woodsman (woodworker, forester, farmer)
The woodsman can harvest wood to make his wooden weapons, so I suggest this for one of our HUNTERS. You can also farm, which makes you a perfect team for our tinker, who can cook the stuff you farm and make us tasty treats.
I would not recommend the yeoman (essentially a pure farmer), as the above things make him redundant.
As for the scholar, who can research things to make cool scrolls as well as forge weapons and farm, I possibly may take this up, but if not, one of our other refined characters can choose it, or possibly I'll trade it with Titan_Kronos for the jeweler profession.
