About the player cap: http://empirewar.org/stats We only had about 2-3 hours of being full this week. It has to be at least almost daily if we want to raise the cap, because it's useless to raise the cap for those few hours a week.

Or you could just send it to us and we put it on the EQ channel (given that it has a high quality). xd

I'm sorry that I triggered you with this post but I was rephrashing to steal about yesterday. Maybe if you told people about your plans, I'd have never made this thread but oh well. Also, you'd be nowhere near where you are right now withouth us, the community. You've abandoned the old gameplay and obsessed yourself with the conwy gameplay because of your personal preferences. That ain't timdictatorship. That is inefficient suggestion management. If you want dictatorship, go to Mineplex (that's my opinion ofc, since server's staff is full of assholes which is why I got banned for no reason -.-). Anyways, on the declined suggestions, you do realize that not every advice would be taken. I still agree on you on the fact that declined suggestions shouldn't be just declined. I think the suggestion should be presented to everyone to be voted on. On the ignored suggestions, that's either the staff being too half ass to check on it or just a busy person. But ya, I think they shouldn't be staff if they can't do such a simple task. My point is that it wouldn't be considered dictatorship. Just a crappy forums management XD.

I understand what you mean, you aren't saying everything that happens is decided by Tim but you are saying that everything you do seems to be ignored due to Tim. Your maps in my opinion (and only my opinion in most cases) aren't the best for the server. Yet, they are in most cases far better than the ones already implemented. The maps themselves and your helpful attitude can bring nothing than good to the dying server. Their loss.

I see both sides of the argument. Zoom has spent an uncountable amount of time working on maps and creating suggestions for the greater good of EW. In my opinion he worked harder than some certain staff members. However, his work has been mostly ignored/declined by Tim which means Zoom feel unappreciated. I understand why Zoom feels so frustrated at Tim and the other staff members. He spent weeks building a new Minas Morgul and Moria. An excessive amount of time on other builds. To be shut down by Tim. In the end, it is Tim's server and he should have the ultimate ruling. But, Tim should at least recognize and thank Zoom for spending hours out of his day for the greater good of EW. However, I don't see Tim has some "evil dictator." Tim does have some issues when it comes to adding suggestions and staff, but nothing like other servers. On Mineplex, for example, an average player's opinion is worth nothing. All suggestions added are either by their own staff (yes I'm serious) or members of the community with a big enough ego to make sure things happen. My honest opinion is that Tim as a very busy person who has very little time for EW. He is a complicated person who must feel stressed out because of the responsibility he has. This makes Tim's decisions feel vague and unclear at times, and even straight out wrong. If you read this far down, thanks. Here is my conclusion. Tim should give more consideration and appreciation towards players ideas, builds, etc. While it is his server, people are also spending their time doing things for the success of EW. When EW succeeds, so does Tim.

I take no sides on this one. I'm stating the flaws on your argument

Even though, most of you said is true, tim however won't care. I feel like he has some grudge against me because of whatever reason. As a player who played on a lot of servers, I can easily see what people prefer and that most of my suggestions/maps have been liked but denied for some stupid reason that could've been fixed within an hour. This might sound harsh but in my opinion, tim is just suited as a Developer. Not owner. This is just my point of view and I'm pretty sure most of you will disagree.

Keeping something alive by the skin of its teeth then bashing someone for explaining how it isn't dead but is most definitely dying isn't a way to make a point. The server isn't what it was, it hasn't even got the same community. The fact is the server is dying to the community that loved it previously and the server itself is currently no where near living up to its previous standard.
