Python strength 1 adds 30 percent more damage strength 2 adds 160 percent of the original. gundaband is fine.
We tested, the Gundabad Orc without voting boots deals 2 HEARTS to an axeman, HOW IS THAT OP?Tim, that is not true. Even with my donator helmet, 60% of the time I get 2 hit killed. Gundabads weapon does 6.25 damage with voting, and with strength 15 damage. They are very strong, but slightly worse armor then the regular orcs. (only by 0.5 armor points.) I think that they were fine with resistance and their armor, it just that the swordsman's weapon only does 8 damage with voting, about twice as less. The swordsman armor is slightly better then the gundabads and worse then the regular dwarf melee. The fact that I paid 3k for a class that's armor is weaker then the normal melee and weapon only does 1 more damage bugs me.
Change: Make swordsman stronger, the dwarf melee class too, and give gundabads their resistance back
or
Change: Make swordsman stronger
Nah, you're wrong.Tim, gundabads get Sharpness 5 with voting, right? Each sharpness level added does 1.25 more damage on the weapon, so with sharpness 5 the melee weapon (in the case the bone) does 6.25 damage. According to the forums and the other websites, strength 1 adds %130 damage on all melee attacks. (includes even your fists, not just particular items (swords and stuff) So, 6.25 with the 130% added damage means about 15 damage per hit. And 35% of the map is at an angle (stairs and they could jump to get them) so critical hits also could happen, which doubles the amount of damage to 30 dmg. With crits, a gundabad can 2 hit kill an archer, without crits 3 hits. With crits, they can 3 hit axeman and without it 3-4 hit without crits.
Their "counter" weapon does only 8 damage when voting. Even though gundabad does have less armor, it is only by 1 armor point. (Gundabads have 6, swordsman 7.) Gundabads and trolls can go through the map unchallenged. All I ask is a buff to the swordsman.
http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Status_effect Link stating that "melee attacks" do 130% more damage per level of strength.
I'm not telling you specific modifications, the server has a lot of custom mechanics and I'm not explaining them all, I'm just telling you that the health (2 hearts) is it, and you can believe me, because I made it, so no more need for discussion. Now you're telling me that you modified it so that strength doesn't affect weapons that have sharpness? That reply was very vague, I need a more descriptive answer please to support your strong opinion against buffing the swordsman.

It was Stannis Baratheon.
I was talking about non-critical hits, crits may have done 3 hearts, and with voters maybe even 3.5, but still. It's not OP.Tim, even as a donor with a diamond helmet (+0.5 more armor) voting, (0.5+ more armor) and my enchantments on my helmet (+1 armor point) and as the axeman, I still get 4 hit WITHOUT crits. Maybe a bug?
