Elves are more important than dwarves though. They go to Mandos's halls when they die. Not dwarves. They are one of the children of Eru. Not dwarves.
Also, in a technical sense the elves lost one ring from their possession, because Gandalf obtained it.

Than is actually capitalized. 4 or more letters and it is.
