Yes, but you will have to pay to enter certain areas. The only free areas are Ered Luin, the Shire, the Lone-lands, and Bree-land, though that still takes a long time to do.

WUT?! Gee, that's frustrating. I thought when I got to the north downs and trollshaws and stuff that it was just this one area and I needed to get back to the place that had the normal storyline quests before I could start playing normally again. But it's EVERYWHERE?! Pfft. Gonna buy VIP now.

il be champion instead. but first i want to know Lord_Azaghal's tanking experience in dungeons in other games or this game. because if the tank does not keep the enemys hitting him then the whole party is screwed. unless LOTRO is a lot more forgiving than world of war craft.
Well my minstrel is the least defense-oriented class in the game and he can still take a beating for a while. He doesn't get instakilled.

not insta killed. but could you survive with 6 elites hitting you while the guardian tried to make them target him?
If by elites you mean people whose health is equal or 50%-100% more than mine, then probably not unless I ran like Dimitri when he heard there was vodka.

what i am worried is going to happen is all the elites will target you and then go from 1 dps person to the other and take out the whole group before the tank knows what just hit them. then the tank will be left fighting by him self with no healer dying slower. because that's how it is in world of war craft.
if tank is a no skill class here then lord_azaghal could play it. i will be champion.
basicaly i have one question: in higher level area's if the guardian has hardly any experience tanking does the whole group die frequently ?
Well actually it does require skill because you need to know when to use the draw-agro powers.
