Roleplay Adventure

((You'd have to be both a sorcerer and a smith to engrave runes. You could endow it with a spell, but that would take sorcery, though not smithing.
To become an apprentice smith you must find a smith and have him train you. You will then get a +5 on all craft: smith checks. You will also be able to make small tools, weapons, and other things of metal, though you will need to make a Dex roll each time and it will take anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the complexity.))

(( What about a Small Dagger? If I have the Stuff and I'm already Apprenticed?
Would that take about 20-40 Minutes? and One thing, how long would it take to
Be an Apprentice to a Smith? So while i'm being apprenticed, I could have my own
storyline, while they go on a quest with their own Storyline, like I could be doing
small Quests for the person I am apprentice to like, Go to the mines and
Get a small shipment of Iron and Deliver it to me.
and What would I have to do to make things of Great complexity?
Like Huge Cleavers, Long Halberds, and Possibly even Composite bow,
and maybe Tower Shields? ))

((Making a dagger would take 1-2 hours, depending on the material, etc. Sure, Kordian, if you want to I can do a spinoff where you're like Gaius' Merlin, except less time "In the tavern", :P Composits would require special solutions, wood, and treatment, which would take several days. Halberds are pretty simple; just an axehead and a pole, probably a day. Cleavers? Pfft, just a block of steel on a twig; hour? Tower shields, depending on their material, would take a couple to several hours of hammering or whittling. And Beep, why the long face? DUDE YOU GOT CHAIN LIGHTING BRO. :D ))

(( >.> How long would it take to finish my Apprenticeship, AND YES. A NICE
SPIN-OFF WITH ME COMPLETING QUESTS as an apprentice would be pretty boss,
and Since we might need stuff, I'd be there, and Tower shields would be Like, Wood,
and Halberds? That Would be good for Dimitri, He likes an axe, and When in
Hedgehog the tip could be good, and Cleavers? Dual Cleavers as Side weapons?
Dimitri would LOVE that, and YES, YES DO A SPIN OFF, as soon as we are done
with this quest, could I just Power-game and just randomly find a Smith
that I can be an Apprentice too? Well, It would be Much of a Power-game
and Randomly find a Smith that Would allow me to do quests while I am
an Apprentice, and When we rest for like 4 hours, I could make dual Cleavers for
Good o'l Dimitri, and For Andrew and Ithe, they can Have Pikes, Or halberd ( Their choice )
and tower shields made of wood, I mean I'd be able to make Make-shift Weapons and tools,
until we find a REAL smith that can Make us good stuff, But until then, We'll be buying
Metals and Wood so I can Make Stuff cheap And the daggers would be like Copper
or Something Cheap xD. and Of course I'd need payment from my
friends, Low though like, EX:
Cleaver: 2 gp
Wood Tower shield: 2 copper coins, ( if we don't use copper coins 1 gp ))
Halberd: 3gp
Pike: (Just a Spike o' metal on a Stick, basically, Sturdy stick, Some metal) 1 gp
Dagger: 1 copper coin (or 1 gp)
Would that be good? Does the DM approve? I love this Role-play, better than lucolas's ))

*Says*
Thank you for your time cyclops, we must move on now so we may get some Treasure
that is in this labyrinth*
*Says to group*
Continue! In the Hedgehog formation!
*Takes the gold he gave to beepbobit*
If your not getting your weapon Runed, I might
as well take my gold back, I was expecting to have
you use this gold to have the Sword En-runed.

The Cyclopes show you to a place in the wall, where they knock four times, and a doorway materializes, leading back into the stone brick passages of the Labyrinth. Brontes turns to you before you leave and says, "What you have experienced before was the easy part; the journey ahead will be much more difficult. The Labyrinth is like a marsh, with hundreds of paths going every which way; some open into the Underdark, some go to the surface, some are dead ends. Most lead to nasty surprises. Time and space mean nothing in the Labyrinth; you might travel for a week and it may seem five minutes, or you may walk a mile and it turns out to be ten. Good luck!"

((Oh ye, I forgot about your rope, Kordian; it ended near the bottom of the stairs by the first door. :P ))

"Thank you good sirs, I hope we find you again."
*moves down the labyrinth
((Yeah, but it's a f*cking 1 use chain lightning, the point of it is that you spam it so shammy has moderate ale
cmon man get with the program))

*Says*
OK! Thank you for that Information,
now we must continue
*yells to group*
CONTINUE, HEDGEHOG.

(( and can you answer all the questions I left in the last post in OOC? ))

As you walk down the passageway, Andrew notices some odd things about the tunnel. Some of the slabs in the roof and on the floor seem much bigger than usual.

Suddenly, out of six holes, a dart flies out, and from four slits four throwing stars shoot.

((*rolls initiative*))

Dimitri notices, and ((I'm assuming you'll want to :P )) attempts to dodge . . .

Dimitri does not dodge in time, and a shruiken catches him, doing 4 damage.

Beep is at the back, and they go nowhere near him.

Kordian doesn't notice, but none hit him.

Andy is alert, notices the missiles, and dodges them.

*Looks around*
what just happened?
*Looks at Dimitri*
Oh man, Andy! SHIELD UP!
Ok, We must be more vigilante.
I have been In a Dwarven mine, once,
This looks Somewhat Like it, But Trapped.

(( So Excited for When I get to apprentice the Blacksmith, One thing though,
Should we make a Separate Thread for The Apprenticeship, So everyone else
can go on a quest while I do quests for my apprenticeship?
I'd Like to call it, "The Apprenticeship of El'Somithir" ))

((Every adventure has its own thread.))

The others look skeptically at Kordian, as everyone knows Dwarf mines are carved out of bare rock, not lined with stone brick.

As you continue, four sets of spikes come down, two behind, on the top and bottom, and two in front, on the top and bottom. No one is hurt, and after a minute the spikes retract.
