Skirmish: Rivendell vs. Goblins

Nah, think BFME II.
http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Giants?file=Mountain_giant_in_bfme.jpg
They're about 20 feet tall and live in the mountains and on the Ettenmoors. Usually neutral, but once in a while Goblins recruit them.
So, essentially, not real LOTR lore, just BFME lore?

((You're right, Beep. I'll use the lore ones. The giant is 70 feet tall, make of solid stone, and hurls boulders the size of your living room.))

They didn't tame him; they recruited him. And don't tell me Mordor didn't powergame: 1,000,000 troops, 9 unkillable agents, and an op ram.

Powergaming: Forcing an outcome in a RP situation.

God-modding: Making you/your party OP. (As in skills, numbers, buildings, etc)

Get ya bloody mashed potato facts right Nub.

Yeah, Beep.
Dude, cmon, that's just OP let's make this fair.
The giants would NEVER logically listen to GOBLINS, nor INVADE RIVENDELL
I will ignore that soldier, but fight the goblins.
*Goes to front-lines, where a small, improvised wall blocks the passage. IT's a multi-tiered wall, beepbobit stands on the 3rd level, i.e. 2 walls ahead, also 2 behind. Not strong walls, improvised out of carts, etc.

Fine I'll turn it to 2 cave trolls. But it is realistic.

The Goblins halt about 300 yards away from the barricade, milling about, until their commander gives a shout in his disgusting tongue, then steps forward and speaks common.

"Give up the valley, Elf-scum! Or we shall pile your bodies in piles and let the maggots feed!"

Cave trolls is realistic. Giants is not.
*beepbobit frowns.
"What a shame. I'd just ordered maggots for YOUR corpses. Ds," *switches to Elvish "Fire at will!"
*Archers pop out from the barricades and start firing. The first one has primarily sword/spearmen who keep goblins at bay, and some archers. The rest are firing for range, an arrow-rain type attack

It is.

Several Goblins begin to drop. Their captain shouts in Orkish, and a hail of black-feathered arrows is fired. After one minute, 37 Goblins are slain, while 20 Elves lie dead.

The captain shouts again, and a large part of the host surges forward, with the Hobgoblins and cave trolls in front. They close on the wall...

WAT?!
no chance, elven archers are WAAAY stronger. I'd say more like 67 to 15, but fine
Beep orders his men to aim arrows at the trolls. He also draws his bow, Ele'Nare, or Starfire, to target the trolls.
Ds's men prepare to hold back the hobgoblins (if you remember the beginning of Fellowship, when the elves are all swinging their swords and having like a wall of blades, we do that, cuz those were rivendell men so we know dat)

The mob reaches the barricade, and throws grappling hooks at the platforms, securing it to load over equipment, while they scale them like cockroaches.

By barricade I meant literally putting random junk in the way, it's not like a wall.
Also, it seems like they have infinite troops and keep spawning random, strong equipment, is this meant to be?
Also, ds's men did nothing to repel them? Or have you not watched the lotr movie (or played lego lotr) and seen how well this elf tactic works at repelling people. (most clear in lego) ))
