VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"I am not injured, I am fine, but this man here needs a medic quickly. He won't last. He has lost lot's of blood. Do hurry, we've lost enough men on this God-Forsaken mission." He gave the cloaked man bandages.
"There might be more injured behind, and we have left people back there, I have to go check who was left and bring him back. Now find someone to take these two injured soldiers back to the hideout for a proper treatment."

Between two trees, Erchirion spied a tiny man staring at a bush. Was that the hobbit? Should he call out to him or just watch? The convoy was leaving and if he did not hurry then they might be left behind and who knew if the enemy was following them?

Daugo felt someone's eyes watching him as he examined the boot.

"Soldier." Ramdir said clearly, "If you're fine then you can do it. Take my horse and continue down the path until you reach it. We're a few hours out. If this man dies, then he dies a soldier of Gondor. There is nothing that we can do to help it. Now get on the horse and haul as-" His orders to Arandil were broken up by Dimitri's sudden awakening. '

"What? Who's hazy?" Ramdir asked in return. Sigeric saw the confusion arising between the conflicting sets of orders. Ramdir turned back to Arandil, "My compatriot is already in the rear looking for stragglers. You take the horse and go. Understood, soldier?" It was clear that this was no a request.

Meanwhile in the rear of the convoy, "Oi, Hering. What are ye doin' to the Haradrim?" It was Galador's voice. Ha'zi saw the ranger walking towards both him and the black cloak who was interrogating him. On the man's cloak was a dancing white swan, a contrast to Hering's white tree.

Iver and Thoruk were quite ahead of the group. Alongside them were the demoralized Gondorian Cavalry Regiment survivors, some Ithilien Rangers, and a single black cloak. Ahead of them were the elves huddled in formation following Lord Celeborn and the black cloaks who led the convoy to their apparent hideout. Where was Marco? Had the elves taken him? Was he with the injured in the rear? Or did he lag behind? Who last had him? Was it Cardiloc? Another chilling realization hit them. Where was Cardiloc?!

"Hm, nothing" Thoruk mumbles as he can't spot him. "Wasn't Cardiloc with him? Wait.." it's now when he realised it. "Where in Durins name is Cardiloc? I haven't seen him during all of this brawl. He has to be where ever Marco is I guess." he thinks before stopping. "I don't realy think he's with the elves, they don't care enaugh Iver" Thoruk says before walking towards one of the survivers of the slaughter back there. "Aye" he says rather loud so he would be recognized "I won't take your time for long lad, I'm just searching for the guy we killed the leviathan shifter for. Have you seen him?" Thoruk asks, quite calmly to get an answer instead of a mean face expression.

"Eh?" The young cavalryman responded to Thoruk's question. "The mate with the crushed legs?" He asked in return after a moment.

The chirps of crickets and hoots of owls awakened through the forest night. The moonlight was drowned out as clouds engulfed the sky. Darkness was abated only by the torchlights that were carried by the rangers. Ithilien grew darker and drearier as a wolf howl christened the misty air.

Ha'zi paused and waited for the cloaked individual to get closer. Maybe he'll finally be free from this jerk. Probably not, really, but one can hope.

"Exactly lad" Thoruk answers with a cold face expression. "Where is he?" he asks as the moonlight seemed to be drowned in dark clouds. A shock of blood runs through his veines as a cold blow of wind hits his neck.

"Dunno. Thought your mates took 'em." The young soldier shrugged before stating, "I still can't get my head a'ound it. What were those thangs? What was the fire? How did I live? No, why did I live?"

Thoruk could see the man, like most of them was unable to rationalize the situation. It was all beyond their minds. These were young men. Soldiers. But still young. Some were even boys. And over eighty percent of them were dead now. All because they were ordered to come. Had Thoruk and Iver been allowed to go ahead by themselves they surely would've defeated the enemy swiftly, right? Right?

"How are ye still alive?" The black cloak asked Ha'zi. The man had paused upon witnessing the Haradrim boy's arms cut clean off but not bleeding nor healing just stumps of veins and arteries left open. "How's that possible?"

In the distance, another howl was heard. Much more primordial than the wolf and seemingly closer to them.

Ha'zi shrugged. "Part of the shifter package of abilities. Don't know why they haven't completely into full arms by now, which they are supposed to." He pays more interest in the direction of the howl than this ranger, who seemed to only want to milk more information out of him, like everyone today.

"What?" Galador asked with a stupefied glance. "Shifter package?" Suddenly, Ha'zi heard his name spelled out up ahead. Someone was talking about him. Were they interrogating the others as well or did they insult him?

Ramdir's eyes narrowed on Dimitri, "What did you just call me?"

16315828 8861015

"Is he discombobulated?" Ramdir asked, turning away from Dimitri who was clearly insane and asking Sigeric.

8861015 12519458

Dimitri cursed like a grudge-holding Dwarf and got off the horse, resolving to find Ha'zi himself. "Bleedin' wazzocks, too stubborn and stuck up to do anything..."

"Most certainly." Sigeric said, glancing at the awakened Dimitri. "Nonetheless, there should hopefully be no harm in granting his request. It looks like Ha'zi is just behind us." Sigeric turned towards the Haradrim boy, and approached him. "Dimitri wants you for some reason. Be careful, he's armed and apparently very angry."

As Dimitri's feet hit the floor his left leg wavered and wobbled. It began to buckle under his weight and he started to feel light headed.

Sigeric found Ha'zi being tailed by two black cloaks whom seemed to be in conversation with him. Ha'zi still looked like hell. His arms weren't smoking nor were they bleeding and he appeared more distraught since murdering the Leviathan shifter. The man wasn't even properly buried. The psychological damage of this entire day was too much to comprehend even for the Dalishman yet they'd have to deal with it. Who knows what might've happened to Ha'zi since Miriel betrayed them. That was still an issue to be resolved among the countless others.

He turns around to see Sigeric. "Should be fine, I'm already surrounded by people like that as of recently. Also, I have a message for you, Sigeric."

“Ha’zi... you alright?” Card knelt beside the haradrim, he remembered what the man told him. He had lost the Karoltai powers. Was he now dying. “Ha’zi!?” His eyes went livid, whatever the man had become he surely was still the boy he had met all those months, no years ago on that forsaken island. “Where are we?” He desperately asked the man.

Arandil went to the captain asking to be the lead to the hideout swiftly before the injured man on the horse would die.
"Hello Captain, it is urgent this man gets to the hideout as fast as possible, I've stopped the bleeding but only for now. He needs a medic, can you lead us to the hideout? He might not have much time."

He hastened towards the cretin, still using the leaves to veil himself. Once close enough, he would lunge at the man.

"Look at him..." Thoruk thinks, feeling a bit of sympathy comming through his rather cold feelings. "All of these younglings are broken, just due to some idiots wanting to involve them into this war..." he says to himself before starting to talk to the broken soldier. "I can't explain it to you either, young lad. Ride home to your family and get rid of these memories. We shifters will stop them on our own, it's not necessary to give your blood in this battle" is all he says, a bit sorry for the younglings. "Broken for life, is that what they wanted to achieve? Is it lad?(Irdis)That's exactly why I didn't wanted to involve my kind into this, it would've ended up the same for my kind..." he thinks as he looks around. "No Marco, no Cardiloc, where in Durins name are they?" he asks himself, looking at the torches, glimmering in the dark.
