VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Hering would point the sword at the giant, looking in the direction of the girl. The world only a slight buzzing. What had he done to her? Horrific thoughts filled Herings head on what he had planned for the girl. Snarling he'd raise the sword "Lastly, as my duty and protector of the realms of men I send one more enemy to whatever hellscape you originated from. Die." He'd say, bringing the sword down across the mans throat.

Sigeric snapped back to reality as he witnessed the chamber cave in. This sudden storm, and the earthquakes... He focused his powers again, using his newfound ability. He focused in on Ha'zi, and reached out towards his mind. The only thing he felt was a swirling tempest of emotions: anger, fear, jealousy, grief, and hatred. The storm within him was even more overwhelming than the one that had seemingly been summoned alongside it. He was going to tear the protos to shreds... Sigeric tried to access Ha'zi's mind, but to no avail. The turmoil within him was deafening. If Sigeric was not careful, he would be lost in it. Suddenly, he heard a shout. "Leave us alone!" Only, this sound was purely in the physical realm. Sigeric felt an unexpected sense of calm in Ha'zi's mind, as if he were in the eye of a hurricane. Now was his chance. "Ha'zi, this is Sigeric. Can you hear me? Listen! You cannot kill them. You know as well as I do that they are not the enemy. Just talk to me, and we can devise a plan." he pleaded. "You don't have to do this alone." Meanwhile, the Dalishman used his new psychic targeting system to aim the ballista towards Ha'zi and the protos, preparing another bolt.

"LEAVE US ALONE!!!" “Ha'zi, this is Sigeric. Can you hear me? Listen! You cannot kill them. You know as well as I do that they are not the enemy. Just talk to me, and we can devise a plan." Ha'zi stiffened as both of these mental pleadings came into his mind, shattering the demonic, Id-like state he was submerged in. Snapping him back into reality, he saw the destruction, the hurt, the death caused, and was treated to an uncomfortable parallel of their experience on the Island with the previous Karoltai. Realizing what had to be done, he reversed his elemental mayhem: the storm dissipated, the earth rose and returned to its original, though now uneven shape, and the temperatures dipped back into normalcy. His body, too, changed: the inferno died away, the reptilian head disappeared, and the jaw slackened a bit. And, last but not least, all afflicted by the nightmarish mental slideshow were relieved of it as it was called off. Finally, now that the transformation had come and gone, one last action was performed, echoing into the heads of all Giants and non-shifters in the area: “Fine, let's negotiate.”

Many people gathered at the campfire. Most of which Iver did not know. He spied a few, that girl Penduilas, Yellena and Raddis, Garath, Thule, and Lasser who was staring at him ominously. All seemed relatively at ease aside from Lasser yet there was something in the air. Almost an elephant in the room. It was understandable enough considering the many events of the day from the fire to Iver threatening the life of an infant. Yet which elephant was the question...? And where was Miriel?

Shlick.

Blood flew up into Hering's left eye as Berethor's throat slit open in a gory mess, spurting everywhere. The girl darted around the corner and the ringing in Hering's ears became more deafening. His hands shook slightly yet the deed was done. The man went still, his eyes staring aimlessly at the roof. He was dead.

They led Daugo out of the Dome of Stars, over the bridge and back to the west side of Osgiliath. From there he was given a pony from one of the stablemasters and they rode along with a merchant troop to the Rammas Echor. Upon entering the townships of the Pelennor he saw the activity upon the highest levels of Minas Tirith. The damage was not as bad as they expected but there had clearly been something occurring. Yet it was still unclear what had occurred.

Galador spurred his horse towards the capital heading for Minas Tirith's gate whilst Ramdir rode alongside Daugo. They spoke little if at all. Their air of stoicism did not fool Daugo. Galador kept his cool most of the time when he wasn't intoxicated but Ramdir, on the other hand, was the largest fiddler and had a history of leaving rather peculiar items in the rooms. Twice Daugo had found some of Helvion's trouts poached from the granary and hidden under his bed which stank up his room. Luckily he was able to disregard the fish before Arcturus had an excuse to place him on additional toiletry duties. Yet, he would never forget the rank stink of Anduin trout because of Ramdir.

Rambo's body crashed onto the earth and he was rolled multiple times before coming to a halt. His legs had been cut, the skin around his knees and shins shredded by the throes. He heard a collection of screams and voices in his mind. What was happening to him? And the earth shifted around him, swallowing him up. He fell into a crater and was being dragged into the dirt by forces unseen around him. Suddenly, something flew over and blinded him in darkness. He heard a loud hiss and it was gone. What the hell was happening...

A hand gripped Ha'zi's left leg. There was a roar from behind him and an eerie hiss. Something cold hit his upper back and the Serpent slithered around his neck, it's body repeated curling in quick movements. In front of Ha'zi, the Screaming Giant rushed forward, hobbling slightly going to assault him. He had been ambushed. Was this a betrayal or merely Sigeric giving horrible advice? Was this some sort of sick joke? Could they not hear him?

The twisted ballista angled at Ha'zi just as he was ganged up on by the prototypes. Sigeric could hear Ha'zi's negotiation proposal. But why were they attacking?

Iver ignored the stares, he didn't plan on staying long with those monsters and murderers."So, Arandil, after we are done here i expect a tour of Osgiliath. I was never had the chance of seeing it after you guys rebuilt it" He said between bits.

"Stop resistin', ya little bugga! Or I'll crack yer 'ead open like its a bleedin' walnut!" the Dwarf roars, pressing down harder and getting ready to bring his foot down on him.

"ASSHOLES!" The Warrior roared as it was beset on all sides. In retaliation against this idiotic turn of events, Ha'zi put the remaining mimicking energy he had left into the Behemoth's fiery skin to ignite all at once.

Treacherous bastards. It was too late for negotiations. With the Serpent wound around Ha'zi, it was too dangerous a target. Sigeric's ballista locked on to the Screaming Giant instead, accounting for the tilt of the weapon and Tytus's momentum. He released the bolt, armed with a barbed tip that would tear the giant's insides to shreds. Sigeric started to prepare another bolt before the first was even halfway to its target.

"Fear not friend. Ill take you to the old capital. Hell, ill take you to the best pub of Minas Tirith. The ale , mead and wine there are brilliant. Maybe we might even have the time to visit my old village in the woods of Ithilien."

All Dimitri heard in response was a gargled roar from Telimekhtar and his single claw was pushed back. His index finger was snapped and the Son of Tulkas screamed.

"YIELD!" A split tore its way through Dimitri's hand as the flesh ripped apart. Telimekhtar tossed apart the loose claws that had held him in a rupture with bewildering strength. His armor had mostly broken off and Dimitri witnessed golden plumes exuding off his body, the muscles rippled with each breath he took.

---------------

A multitude of events occurred at that point.

A bolt hit Tytus' stomach and went straight through leaving a gaping hole. He staggered for a moment. Then fell back as Ha'zi erupted into flames, his skin evaporating into a blue inferno. The Serpent attempted to fly off but its body was tied to Ha'zi's neck and instantly incinerated. It's bulging head popped off and went flying in a medley of gore. The Armoured roared in anguish yet with unyielding power, it yanked on Ha'zi and flung him through the air. The Warrior Giant crashed into the dirt and felt the Armoured land upon its back, holding it down, almost immune to the heat he was blasting out.

Sigeric felt weak as another bolt loaded. He did not have much energy left to continue. This shot would have to count. Yet which target? He could sense the spirits of the Armoured, Screamer, and Serpent along with many others including Ha'zi. But he did not know the situation atop or how it was. All he could do was feel their sensations. And he felt a mixture of terror, shock, and anger erupt in tandem from all parties.

As Rambo was being sucked into the earth a loud crash brought his attention as the dirt shifted and he saw a nightmarish sight. The head of the snake landed just inches away from him. The remainder of its body was missing and a majority of its head was charred. One of the eyes was popped out of the socket and the other was melting. Its scales bubbled and simmered and he could feel the sheer heat. It was making him sweat uncontrollably and the air became hard to breath. What in Numenor was transpiring?!?!?!

What the- Rambo struggled about as he was swallowed up by the dirt and then suddenly with the snakes head landing near him, he had some reprieve and he took it to get himself out. If successor he’d slowly get up and trudged over to inspect the serpents head.

Hering would start to breath deeply, his eyes closing and opening in rapid blinks, the world buzzing even more, un fact, distracting him. He'd call out "Little lady, your safe now. Come with me and we'll give you to someone who knows what to do." He'd tell her, putting away his sword and bending down to drag the dead body.

"Ha'zi, I cannot see what's going on up there. I have another bolt ready, but I'm going to need you to identify a target. This might be my last shot, so I need to make it count." Sigeric said, projecting his thoughts into the Warrior Shifter's mind.

A gurgling scream released from the Warrior when its back was pounded upon by the Armoured Giant. It furiously slashed upward with its bladed arms, trying to hit something vital. During this attack, Ha'zi received the transmission from Sigeric and hastily projected back, "Well for starters, you can fire at this traitorous asshat that's on my back, the one with all the fancy armor that somehow never dies." Then added with a salty tone, "I'd appreciate it greatly!"

Dimitri beheld the sudden awakening of power, and knew there was no hope in victory. Here was the unreleased might of Tulkas' Sons, unmatchable by mortals. He released his grip on Teli and retreated, leaving his Giant form and putting his armor back on. He bowed before the might of Tulkas Undefeatable, and awaited his fate.

The Son of Tulkas breathed heavily and his eyes fell upon Dimitri. They gleamed a golden sheen like his hair. "Never surrender. Even if your foe is unbeatable you must remain undefeated. Now stand, Dimitrius. We leave by the next full moon to avenge the Astaldo." A large hand extended out to Dimitri.

Someone came around the corner. He noticed the girl's shoes as he dragged the body along the floor leaving a bloody trail. As he did so, another set of feet came into view and rushed towards him.

15756962

-------------------

Horses thumped and walloped in the distance.

As Rambo attempted to get closer he was burned as a jet stream of steam blew out from the snake's head. His eyes were blinded and his face blistered, his hair singed by the heat. Someone appeared through the mist limping towards him.

Sigeric's connection to the plane began to falter and he only heard half of Ha'zi's sentence, "Well for starters, you can fire at this traitorous assha-" Sigeric felt dizzy as he attempted to maintain his seat on this ethereal setting.

Ha'zi's arms went wild as a muscular arm pulled over his neck and began to strangle him in a chokehold whilst the Armoured's legs closed around Ha'zi engulfing him in a bodily trap.

Meanwhile, Tytus knelt down and peered at the hole in his abdomen. He looked up at where the bolt had originated from and spied the large ballista. "Fucking cunts." He grunted and opened his mouth, sucking in bucketloads of air and preparing to unleash the largest scream in history.

Rambo gasped out in pain as his eyes were blinded, he held his knife cautiously. As the blurred figure limped towards him he held his knife up to protect himself.
