VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"Not bad" she'd say, looking at the potato, throwing it up and catching it again. She'd pull her long black hair out of her face before biting into the potato. "Good hunger" is all she'd say to herself before eating her well earned meal.

--------------

"Bet I can't do anything about it, so why not." Thoruk would say, walking off, expecting them to follow him. "Ya don't have something to eat left for me, have ya?" he'd ask them, walking towards the end of their little town. "If not I'm going on a little hunting session, feel free to help." he add.

Rambo’s brows furrowed at this, he rode up near sigeric and whispered to him. “Guardian, those men with glorfindel, I don’t think their one of ours. What do you think?” He asked in a low voice, ignoring text He conversation about Cardiloc. 12519458

"It would seem so mister Lasser. Do you have ale or maybe some mead? I am quite thirsty right now for some alcohol."

As she did so, she heard a rumbling within the bowels of the city. That could only mean one thing. It was the daily backwash. The sewage in the upper levels usually clogged up and around the evening before the guards switched shifts, they opened the aqueduct valves which released all the stored shit, piss and excrement from the rich nobility which would flood the lower level sewers where she lived. She needed to hurry up before the streams of shit overflowed and swept her to certain disease-ridden death, and that was if she didn't drown.

---------------------

"We're quite low on supplies as it is, we eat everything we can. Many mouths to feed, especially with the babies," Lasser muttered in reply to Thoruk's statement, "Breakfast was eaten hours ago. I'll send Yellena with you, as well for good measure. We need more food and we have yet to build the granary. I really should get Equas on that..." He continued to mutter, walking off, seeming to have missed Arandil's question. The Gondorian saw that Raddis had disappeared and that he was, free, in a general sense, to roam the village site.

Thoruk did not find himself being followed for a while until three people ran after and caught up to him.

"Hey," It was Yellana's voice. "Wait up, you lug."

"And why is that?" Iver asked, disappointed that the easy solution of asking the all powerful being to solve their problem just vanished.

"Because..." The Trickster scratched his head. "Because..." He sniffled and coughed. "Because I don't know."

14628767

"Look, my memory is hazy. I-It's difficult. I just know he can't. He won't. Because...I don't know. Damn it. What do you want from me?!" The Trickster exclaimed. He was cracking.

14628767

'well this is going down' Iver thought to himself. "Listen, its the fucking middle of the night, how about we continue this in the morning?" He offered seeing that both of them needed rest.

"No. We-something's coming." The Trickster racked his head. "Why can't I remember him?"

14628767

"No. I need to know the truth." He moved over to Iver, "I need to find Varda. She will know why Eru won't help us. Help me, Iver."

14628767

"Oh shit, it's time." she'd mumble grabbing the pocket of money, her dagger and head towards the nearest exit. While doing so she would take another bite from the potato.

--------------

"Aye, guess you're my hunting squad then." he'd say as he turns around. "Ya have any ideas of where to find animals in this area since it's ya home? If possible not to close to the village, I think I might hunt using my powers this time." he'd stop for a bit before adding "Don't ya make a questioning look, I won't burn something this time" he'd say going onwards. "Hopefully" he'd mumble to himself.

"I do dare, lapdog. I would gladly slay the servants of a mad King and of a Dark Lord." Dimitri replied. "Both have betrayed the one all should serve. Both betrayed Eru Illuvatar."

The potato was undercooked but tasted delicious to Tamara. Ahead of her was the exit, and a loud roaring flush sounded behind her.

---------------

"Well..." Penduilas said, "You did burn down half the forest on our side of the river. That's where we usually hunted..."

What about the other half?"

"Na, the animals would've run."

"Yeah." Raimen muttered. "I could try and find another hunting spot if needed."

13615485

---------------

"A mad man." One of the Maia remarked.

"Corrupted by being a servant of the Enemy,"

"Hold your tongue, slave!"

"Curr of Morgoth."

The flurry of insults flew at Dimitri but the only one that mattered came from Minaltar, "You would not raise your hand against us when anything dealt upon us shall be dealt upon your sweet mother and father. What good son would hurt the parents that raised him?"

8861015

"Mhmpf" she'd swallow the bit of potato that was left in her mouth and bite into the potato, keeping it in her mouth. "Mmhmh" she'd swear around, not understandable, probably because of the flood of shit, coming earlier than she thought, as she tries to go faster and slip through the exit.

--------------

"Well, sorry bout that lad." Thoruk would say, scratching his head. "I have time, that bugger Iver has to return anyway so I'll help ya get some food and of course something for myself aswell. Go ahead, I'll follow ya" Thoruk would say, waiting for the others to lead the way.

The memory of the Adorn stung him, he could do little. But how did he know they were alive? He remembered what his adoptive father told him before he went off to Gondor. "Remember that the ultimate test of your faith will always come down to those you love. We exist to for Tulkas. We fight for him, we live for him, we die for him."

"They would suffer, but they would be proud knowing that their son stood defiant against a heretic's cock-sucking slave and brought ruin down on them." Dimitri responded. "I fight for Tulkas and Illuvatar. I suffer for Tulkas and Illuvatar. And if it is His Will, then I shall die for him, with His holy name upon my lips."

"Best just stay around the cabin. Wouldn't want to stray afar and end up with that beast of an idiot." He would think to himself.
"Now, time to try and plan for the future. If that mad lad ever returns we might be able to set off on the journey. I do yearn to return back to the White City. I wonder how my brother is, if Magath has regained his sanity? If I am still accepted and still have the rank of Lance Corporal?"
"No, no I need to plan our future path." He would mumble to himself. He would try to strategize and think out their choices and paths, for the next hour, hopefully uninterrupted.

"No, Iver. Just help me right now. I need you to draw a circle on the earth with your boot. I'll be back. I need a few items." And with that the Trickster snapped his fingers and he was gone, leaving Iver alone in the grassy clearing.

14628767

---------------------

"Then make them proud." Mineltar goaded him and the thirty-four Maiar that surrounded him unsheathed their longswords. Eagles watched Dimitri from the walls and cawed as his foes rushed in like a storm of swords. Was this the end? Had the death he wished for come to him this soon? But what of avenging Tulkas? Sauron the Deceiver couldn't be allowed to escape?

8861015

-----------------

Within a few seconds, Tamara found herself out of the sewage tunnels and in her alcove. A few moments later, the sewage wave rushed past and out the tunnel, leaving a rancid stench to greet her. After years of living down here, she had become accustomed to the smell. She was also fast. Incredibly so. It seemed no one else was as fast as her. But then again, she only ever saw little children and guards running.

----------------

"Alright," Raimen said and jumped. Thoruk had to blink twice as the man began to soar into the sky and float above them.

The other two acted naturally and began to take up a pace, following below Raimen.

---------------

Arandil had his hour of peace to come up with a decisive plan to deal with the issues at hand. Though, that entire plan relied on Iver returning. Otherwise, he'd be stuck here with these people for who knows how long. Aren't they immortal like Thoruk and Iver? Would he become immortal by living with them? Would Raddis try to spit out the Anduin in his face if he did? Too many questions. Not enough Ivers.
