VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"How can ya possibly feel what is lava, what is stone and what is an ore? Besides, how would you start to use it, if there is lava, there's way more earth and rocks above it, how would I get it out of the underground?" he'd think, trying to get some informations about possible new powers and a gate to new strats that he could open.

----------------

"Ouch" she'd axclame as she and the gondorian crashed into each other. Her fear was replaced by a bit of pain in her head. "Almost made it... always those guards" she'd mumble, trying to get up, holding her forehead.

Telimekhtar grunted in reply and approached the door. Iver watched him reach for his greatsword which was lengthier than Iver's own body.

---------------------------

"I can't help give you your powers, Thoruk. I can only point you in the right direction." Irdis mentally shrugged.

"So, what else can ya do? A few magicians tricks is not what was rumored from the Clan Warrior?" One of the engineers said aloud.

------------------------

As Tamara tried to stand she found herself staring at the lifeless head of the lizard which had fallen over her left leg. One eye was being gouged out by the guard whilst the other stared directly into her eyes, an aimless glare. Those guards with the black capes were pinning its lower half with the exception of the two who were attacking its head. Slowly she saw steam rise from its bloody eyehole and its skin began to evaporate before her eyes. What...what was this?

Before she could come to a conclusion, Tamara felt a burning pain in her left arm.

"Ha'zi," It was a voice familiar to him. Wasn't it...his own?

"Stand." Another voice?

No. It wasn't his own-

"I need you to stand, Ha'zi." It was Keldar's voice too.

"Arise. You must rise." Someone else?

"Please. Stand up, dad." Whose voices were these?

"Awaken."

Dimitri squinted, trying to make out what the stories of the Ainur were. He really hoped there was pictures of Tulkas gods hes hot on the pictures, or something that could tell him more about his sacred lord's backstory.

Iver followed him and preapared his Maia blade as he noticed something. His feet was cold and he lacked a boot, "I better get a new set of clothes" He mumbled to himself, realizing that his current clothes looked, smelled and tasted like piss and sweat.

"Hm, you're right. Thank you anyway Irdis, glad to have two brains of sorts. We dwarves aren't thinkers so it's a good thing to have ya with me" he'd think. "Aye lad, what I showed you right now doesn't even take a drop of my power." Thoruk would exclame, letting out a deep and long laugh before coughing once. "I am able to create storms and earthquakes, fog and flooding oceans, call magma upon the earth skin from down there and even create tornados as big as our glorious mountain my brother. But if I were to show you a glimmer of this, I will need an open space. Besides that, you will then be able to see my 'giant' form. You can examine it when I showed you some of my powers, in this body I don't feel that much pain if you try and cut a piece out of the giant skin to analyze it. But!" he would say, looking at the chieftan. "The giant form will more or less 'vanish' as soon as I leave it in a matter of minutes, so I'm not sure if you can cut pieces out that will stay like they are for long enaugh to examine them. But enaugh talking my brothers." he'd say, putting on his hand-armor. Chieftan, do ya know a place big enaugh for a 15 meter creature outside that won't scare and neither hurt our civilians?" he'd ask, hopeing to get this over with faster than the things in the shifter-camp.

--------------
"Ahhh, ewww" she would exclaim as she saw the lizard on her foot. She glanced at the guards in fear. If they were to finish this beast they would probably recognize her and put her under arrest... or even worse! "No, no, no" she'd think before she suddenly saw steam rise from the lizards body. "W-w-what does this mean?" she'd think before feeling a sting in her arm. "Argh" she'd shrug and hold her arm with her other arm. Had this think bitten her? Or maybe the liquid from it was toxic? She would try and creep away, trying to hold down her voice as she holds her arm.

Dimitri spotted paintings depicting what could only be the war of wrath, the first war, and the war for the silmarils. These adorned the lower halls of the chamber and towards the ceiling, these changed drastically. He noticed the Valar, Tulkas the Mighty among them, and even more eerily he saw certain figures erased from the tapestries. Tulkas' face was blurred amongst many others. He recognized a few of those left unsmudged. Manwe, Varda, Ulmo and Yavanna were those he could discern. But those few that were erased...Tulkas, a rider on a white steed, and many others. Even Aule was missing. What had become of them? What had become of the Valar? Of Eru Illuvatar?

Before these questions could be answered, an audible bang resounded through the chamber.

"Silence." Telimekhtar told Iver as he hypocritically threw open the double doors with a bang and charged into a chamber containing a single cage. One which Dimitri happened to be conveniently located in.

-----------------------

The Chief of the Engineer Guild's features broke out into a smile.

The next thing Thoruk knew he was on the high altitude training plateau where thousands of dwarves initiated their discipline in the act of warfare. Hundreds stood there watching him as he was carted off to the center and they all watched from a distance in trepidation.

-------------------------

As Tamara panicked and slowly moved back, her left arm began to burn more and the pain caused her to squeal. One of the guards dressed in heavy armor glanced in her direction.

Something, some black mark had formed on her hand. The ink searing deep into her skin. What had it done to her? Was she poisoned? Would she die?

"You there," She heard a voice call to her.

13615485

Why in His Holy's Name was He wiped from the pictures? And why was Aule, of all the Valar, gone? He surely had done nothing wrong. Unsurprisingly, Manwe and his toadies were still there. Bleeding wazzock would pay for what he did. He had defiled the land with his trait- Oh my god Dimitri, we get it, you hate him. Shut up and pay attention to the door that just randomly opened. And sure enough, the door had been slammed open. He couldn't quite make out who opened it, but with all his might, he shouted, "In the name of Eru Illuvatar Exalted and Tulkas the Everwrathful, I demand to be freed from this cage and to speak to Illuvatar!"

"AND YOU SHALL BE!" Dimitri heard the voice of his would-be friend followed by loud thuds as the hulking figure of the Astaldo's son came into view, blocking Dimitri's vision of the open doors.

8861015

"Teli?! Is that you?! By Tulkas, you are a sight for sore eyes!" Dimitri shouted back. joy filled him, freedom from Manwe (lmao good luck with that Dimitri) was so close! And his comrade-in-arms was the one freeing him. A glorious day indeed. "Get over here or I'll make sure you regret me forcing you to stop once we left the cave."

Furdin heard the man shout "TAKE HIM ALIVE". But not unspoiled. The snake was clearly a threat to Gondor, and so he would do his duty to King and Country (and the dude that was gay for Iver) by rushing over and trying to hack it in two.

"Alright my fellow brothers! Don't be afraid of what you will see, I can control it like this body. Sit back and enjoy!" he'd exclaim, giving his 3 axes to the chieftan with a "Be careful with them, one of them belongs to my father" before he'd turn away and walk into the middle. There he'd look out for any dwarf that would be to close before biting into his tongue and unleashing his power to transform.

--------------
"Argh" she'd grab her hand even stronger before seeing this ink like thing on her hand "Oh no, this is poison for sure.. w-what should I do? I don't have money and I'd have to ask the men I stole from.. I-I can't do it" she'd think, feeling another sting before hearing a voice calling towards her. "Y-yes?" she'd say, looking out for the, probably, guard that would talk to her, slowly going backwards, holding her hand onto this ink-like mark on her hand.

Mateus would go to reach for the apparent hair when it was as if his target moved from under him, dragging his arm out of the eye he'd turn to the girl, letting the blood, slime, and other fluids drip down his arm. "Come with us, high command asks that all nearby witnesses be questioned of these events."

Telimekhtar rushed towards the cage and before bashing the living shit out of it, he gave it a look over and waited. After uttering some words in Valarin, he unsheathed the sword and proclaimed, "Father give me strength." Raised the blade and looked to Dimitri. "Shield your eyes and move to the rear of the cage, Dimitrius."

----------------------

The Elemental Giant emerged from the blazing light that blinded the dwarves. The chief dropped his spectacles as he gazed upon the humungous titanic-sized dwarf that stood before them. He was too stunned to realize it was completely hairless but for the beard and lacked any orifices aside from its mouth.

----------------------

Mateus had to yank with all his strength to pull the shifter out. His hair was bloody and he only managed to bring out the upper half. The man was still in his arms.

Shin was still stabbing the damn snake when Furdin came in swinging his blade and sliced the decaying lizard in half, barely missing his fellow ranger.

"It's dead," Kurio stated to the two men as he slammed his cane against the lifeless scales.

Tamara heard one of the guards say, "Come with us, high command asks that all nearby witnesses be questioned of these events." Another came in and argued with him. He was taller and hunkered in armor.

"You really think you can bring in all these people?" Keratos asked Mateus and indicated the still-frozen crowd. "She's but a child."

The bigger guard turned to her and stooped low to her height, resting a knee against the ground. "Hello. I'm sorry for everything you've seen," Suddenly something occurred to him. How was she able to move? Who had given them their orders? What was happening. He turned back to Mateus, "What's happening. Why is everyone frozen?"

Sigeric's influence began to fade on the men he ordered. They had fulfilled their task. The serpent had been taken.

"Who are you?" Keratos asked the girl.

8861015 13615485 15756962 16315828

Shin scowled at the dumb girl, and went towards the neck of the Serpent to extract the shifter. Sure, his plan of action had been a bit much. But at least the damned thing was dead, and the shifter wouldn't be able to get anywhere. Smirking, he tried to carefully cut into nape, barely obeying the Guardian's dumb rules.

Except, he would have done so if it weren't for time. Time was a bitch. Fuck off, time.

Instead, Shin blinked. "The fuck? It's dead? I wasn't even trying to kill the bugger inside, just stop this abomination. Shit..." The ranger sighed. "Shit... Well, I guess we need to search for the inheritor now."

"What the... Who the hell... What's going on?!" Ha'zi demanded confusedly in his mind to this torrent of commands from voices alike and unknown.

Finally transformed. It had been while since he used this form, yet he wanted to show them what he could realy do. He would prepare some fireballs, big enaugh to heat up everything in the near area, exactly like he trained it to make the heated air bring more clouds up and strenghen his powers with the help of a thunderstorm.

--------------

Tamara listend to the guards while turning away her arm, trying to hide that she had pain. I-i I am Tamara. I don't want to go with y-you, my mum is waiting for me to return." she'd say in a mixture of fear and sadness. "I have to play it as well as possible" she'd think trying to make a sad face like she used to do when she was smaller. Back then it always worked, why not now?

Dimitri pushed himself against the back of the cage, covering his eyes with his hands. "Fire when ready!"

Furdin grabs the snake and drags it over to the man who ordered him. "Here ya go, sir! I took it alive!" he said with a laugh.

"Sup Dimi boy" Iver said seeing that his ..... "Friend"? Was encaged in there.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your reunion, but we need to leave before your uncle comes here and turn is into mash" Iver said to the edgy son of tulkas as he raised his sword. "Wait what" he said.

Radmir heard the command, and really did want to follow it, but his legs are weak arms are heavy and he fell down, and rolled to his back, resting there.

"Which is why we bring in everyone around this giant" he'd motion to the Executioner "and then people who think they saw something near the dungeon. No man further, just the closest person." He'd counter when suddenly Shin said something that drew his attention, find the inheritor. Shit, how were they going to do that, thousands of people here and they had to- he'd turn to the girl noticing how she was trying to cover up her arm and how she was able to ignore the former order to remain still. "Shin, never mind finding them. We already have them." He'd say, walking up to the girl and going to grab her arm and twist it so he could see her forearm/palm while addressing Keratos.

"You heard the same voice as everyone else, the Serpent and Fear Girl don't have these powers and no other Proto is here or else they would of escaped. One of Gondors Giants did it, and if I were to put my money on who i'd say the Guardian. Behemoth doesn't ave anything like that and the Warrior gets his powers from the other giants."

Cardiloc grunted, but he decided he’d just do what the lady said. “Fine fine m’lady, I’ll clean myself off. Could I just get something from the basement.” He looked back at the door. “Ela got it for me, and left it there.” He explained quickly.

”What the fuck just happened.” Rambo swore as Sigeric ceased his mind freeze, he glanced around to see what was going on.

Sigeric's stared at the man with cold intensity. "You aren't Berethor, are you? At least not the one whom I have the misfortune to know. Who are you, and why do you know my name?" He paused, and his eye seemed to twitch a slight amount. "...And what do you mean that Marco is dead?" Unmistakable malice seeped into his voice in this last sentence, betraying his true emotions. He gazed at Berethor in much the same way that a hawk views its prey, ready to strike if he took but one misstep.
