VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Seeing another guy approaching her like they want to catch her and put her into prison she would back off a bit more, almost stumbling and then bursting into tears. The mix of fear and pain made her cry more than she used to, as a tear runs down her cheek she would look at the guards.

Telimekhtar raised the greatsword and swung it.

"SMAAASH!

Four sets of iron bars were heaved in two, falling apart on the floor in a clatter. Dimitri saw his freedom. And there, right next to it stood Iver.

Perfect...

------------------------

The dwarves watched Thoruk in awe. Some cheered, others merely stared and one was even drawing what seemed to be an art piece.

-------------------------

"Hurry then." Lady Eldrith told Cardiloc.

---------------------

"He was killed...by..." Berethor blinked as the influence Sigeric held completely dissipated.

All around them people were released and became unhinged, running in every direction away from the violence. Daugo and Galador were unleashed. Even Ramdir came undone.

"Son of a bitch? Who's voice was that? SHIT-" Rambo heard Ostopher say as a crowd of panicked citizens rushed the third gates which were shut and overwhelmed the rangers and the local garrison.

"You," Kurio pointed at Shin, "Secure it-" He pointed at the remains of the serpent which revealed a body. "And you, unhand the child." He placed a cane upon Mateus' shoulder as the girl scampered backward like a frightened animal.

Keratos did not move from his kneeling position but he extended his hand to Tamara. "It's okay. I understand your fear, lady. Please, allow us to rescue you from this dreadful place."

Tamara could see his brown bushy eyebrows through his visor accompanied by two deep-set obsidian-colored eyes. "Please." He repeated, his hand open to her. She had a choice. She could make a run for it. He wasn't blocking her in. Or she could take his hand. But he might put her in the prison like the other guards wanted to. Yet...unlike the other guards, this one seemed different. What would Tamara do?

"Sigeric, you, you were there. We found his body. The skull. It was..." Berethor shook his head, "Sigeric-you're dead, aren't you? This is some sort of nightmare. What...what am I doing here...Mirecy...my Mir...Endo? That guard? Cardiloc? Beren? Oh, Morgoth...no..." Berethor took a step towards Sigeric. He was dangerously close to the Dalishman. And the last time they were this close...a King had died.

--------------------------

Ha'zi awoke on the Ered Nimrais overlooking the city of Minas Tirith. He felt the snow crisply burn his feet and the wind whip at his hair. Ahead of him stood one figure. It was a man he had not seen since the island.

"Ha'zi. I want you to take a good look at our future." Keldar told him. "Look at it. This is what we've done."

The man moved aside, revealing the surroundings below them.

Gondor's capital no longer existed. To call it rubble would be an understatement. It had been absolutely desecrated. The large rock of Minas Tirith seemed to have broken off and plowed through the city before landing on the Pellenor. The city was awash in flames. The townships of the Pellenor had been decimated into nothingness. Flattened by gigantic footsteps. Osgiliath was razed and the river Anduin was aflame. A massive crater lay where the port of Harlond sat on the banks of the river. Thousands of bodies. No. Not thousands. Millions. Hundreds of millions of bodies. So many that they resembled mountains. Some had been crushed into nothingness and others littered the fields and mountain-sides. Many were aflame, some were blown apart into organs and limbs, others were distorted, and so on. It was the goriest Ha'zi had ever seen. He couldn't even contemplate the sheer numbers as this scene spread across the horizon from the White Mountains to the Mountains of Ash.

"This is our fault." Keldar re-iterated.

Dimitri waited a bit to see if something happened afterwards, and then exited the cage. "Thanks for the help, Teli." Dimitri began. Then, for the first time in many, many months, he saw someone that was mortal. "And do mine mortal eyes deceive me? Iver? Is that you?" he continued. "By Tulkas, it's good to see (even) you."

And Furdin just stood around like a retard.

Great, now they had a panicked mob on their hands. “Want me to help restore order sir?” Rambo asked his superior sighing. “But we ought to get them out of here, it’s too dangerous for the sheep with the wolves about.” He suggested.

[rule]

“Alright,” Cardiloc nodded, before he popped into the basement.

The ranger nodded, and transitioned to the corpse of the mutated Serpent. Bending down, he examined the body of the shifter within the ghastly thing, nudging it with the flat of his blade.
[rule]
Ha'zi gasped as he gazed at the gore, mutterin
g, "Dear Eru..." This was the Mordor expedition's carnage on steroids here. "How could this have happened?" The Haradrim wondered aloud as his eyes solemnly took in the view of the copious bloodshed.

"He's not going anywhere. You should be telling him to find the Guardian, the shifter needs to be condemned before he tries anything else happens." Mateus would say, implying to Shin that's what he should do, if he will had his grip on the girls arm he'd go to turn it so that the forearm was facing him. Yet if it did or didn't he would still call over to Furdin. "Go find some rope and a cart. We need to bring her somewhere safe." He'd say, motioning to Fear Girl.

Iver covered his ears and closed his eyes as the maia cut through the steel bars. "good to see you too Dim" Iver said and then added "I hope we didn't alert the guards" as he pulled his maiar blade.

He would then proceed and unleash the fireballs, launching them into the sky, releasing the heat he had stored.

--------------

"I-I just want to go to my mother" she'd say, trying to stop herself from crying. "She allways told me not to go w-with strangers." she'd say, walking backwards further.

Just as Iver said that the doors on the opposite side of the room swung open and over a dozen Maiar flooded in. They were the Eternal Guard.

"Who dares to defile the Lord's Realm?!"

---------------

The fireballs exploded in a show of power resulting in a cacophony of laughs and wonder from among the dwarves. They began cheering in unison.

"What more?!" Thoruk heard them say.

---------------

Down in the basement, Cardiloc found Endo leaning against one of the walls. The place smelt rancid. Worse than Cardiloc. Some tools lay in a box, one saw bloodied. There were some crimson marks on the floor but they'd mostly been cleaned. A box lay in the far corner of the room. Its flaps lay slightly open and the bottom seemed to have darkened.

"Card?" Endo asked. "What-what are we doing? What is the plan? I never wanted to come here and do this."

-------------

"No, we can't hope to stop them. Open the gates!" Ostopher yelled at the guards. After a brief moment of hesitation, the garrison men unlocked the gate and kicked it open.

"Let them pass!" Their commander yelled at the rangers. Yet...even then the rangers were being overwhelmed. Rambo was barely able to hold back the tide and one woman ran past him, breaking through the ranks of the black rangers.

Meanwhile, at the site of the Executioner Giant, Shin found the body of the shifter unresponsive.

"You heard him," Kurio said to Furdin, "Find some rope. We must await reinforcements. Surely they'll muster soon." The old man tapped his cane along the ground as he walked towards the crystal shard containing the frozen body of a young woman.

"I'll take you to her. I swear it, little lady." Keratos said. He made no effort to chase after her but kept his hand open. She could make a run for it right now if she wanted. And she'd probably outrun them. She was too fast for their bulky armor. Yet...would she?

-----------

"Because we allowed it to happen," Keldar sighed. "This is because we were weak. We tried...well...you tried to hold on to the ones you loved. And now," He looked away from the destruction, "They're all dead."

16315828

His mouth muscles and machinery suddenly, finally relaxing, Daugo's accumulated utterances spilled out in one breath. "Uhwhatthefuckwho'sdoingthistousfuckfuckIcan'ttalkahhletmemoveahatleastIcanbreatheaghhyouallrightGalador?"

“We’re getting Mirecy out of here, but she hasn’t been complacent with that. She’s currently escaping from the dungeons where they were holding her and now Berethor has gone rogue to find her just leaving the house like that. Endo, we have to stop both of them before hey do something stup-” He explained quickly, before noticing all the blood, his voice caught in his throat. “Endo, you mentioned a dead body before, what the fuck did you do...”
[rule]
“Fuck.” Rambo swore, he tried to steady himself as people charged towards him.

Seeing that asking questions wouldn't do any good whatsoever, Ha'zi went to access Keldar's memories about this catastrophe.
[rule]
"Cunt could easily be faking it,
or be passed out," he muttered. Shin turned the blade back around, then quickly drew a small, thin line across the shifter's flesh to see if that would get any response.
[rule]
"Holyfrickthefuckwasthat," Galador spewed out as he and Daugo were freed in unison. Pale and heaving, he murmured in response to the hobbit, "As... as fine and dandy as I'll ever be..."

"I! THE SON OF TULKAS!" Telimekhtar roared and charged the Eternal Guard. It was a completely opposite reaction to Iver's.

--------------

"Mirecy's here?" Endo asked then replied, "Yeah about that...so there was one guard who somehow recognized us...I don't even know how he found us here but he did. We tried to restrain him but he kept fighting us. He did this," Endo raised his left arm which had a bite-mark on it, "He also attacked Berethor but he survived, of course. Thankfully. He ended up bleeding to death there," He pointed to the dirty section on the floor, "Berethor cut him up and I stuffed his pieces into the box. We were going to get rid of it but we didn't know what to do. Where in Angband have you been?"

-----------

The swarming crowds overran Rambo. The ranger was smacked into another man and one of his comrades hauled him up and pulled him aside as the flow of people ebbed through the gate.

Shin's blade left a slice in the man's body. Unlike before, no steam appeared. The wound began to bleed and the body was motionless. Shit.

----------

"I wouldn't do that if I were-" Keldar's voice was drowned out as Ha'zi opened a can of worms that could never be shut.

---

"DIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" Ha'zi heard Tytus' voice. His eyes were shut. Everything was dark. A thousand screams erupted around him.

The scene changed.

---

He felt raindrops upon his coat. He was riding with a couple of rangers towards a beautiful forest. It was a dark cloudy day.

"This is her location, sir. We know the elves had her contained in the forest." He heard one of their voices before a loud explosion from the east drew his attention.

"What was that?" Ha'zi heard the man ask.

---

Ha'zi was somewhere different. He was surrounded by black rangers and there were others too, Sigeric and Vardamir. Those rangers under Belzagar too. A little girl with them. They were dressed for war. Many of them had scars and the mood was dour.

"The Beast has been sighted. Bring it down at all costs!" Belzagar yelled and Ha'zi watched hundreds of men charge towards something...something terrible.

It was an eldritch horror. A mass of black, crimson and stark bone-white convulsed into one being. A single-eyeball stared back at them.

"Now come and kill me." A disembodied voice arose from the Beast and it unleashed a torrential downpour of spikes and tendrils which cut through scores of Gondorians and rangers. The scene ended as Ha'zi shut his eyes from the pain of watching so many of his comrades die. The last thing he heard was their screams. Those screams...horrifying screams...

----

He saw a large lizard-like creature emerge from the bowels of the earth, its body rising out of magma as flames doused over its molten wings. It spread them and roared, then took flight. Its wingspan was so wide that it caused tornadoes to form beneath it resulting in the surrounding area, some sort of town, being destroyed by whirlwinds.

----

"Hello, father." He saw a young scarlet haired man address him across a field.

----

"Ha'zi, you have to find Aranel. She possesses the key to save your world. You two must come into contact for this key to activate. If you fail to, then everyone will be lost. Only the two of you can prevent the Dagor Dagorath. Morgoth will die and the Darkness shall be released. It'll consume all of us. Ha'zi. You have to find her...find her..." He heard the voice of a dying woman. She lay there speaking to him as if they had known each other for years. Yet...he had no clue who she was.

"Find my younger self," Her green eyes slowly shut.

"Fuck." Dimitri uttered. Stupid Teli was charging their damn lines. 'Well, I guess it's time to fight. Again.' Dimitri thought. He stubs his toe, and takes a few steps back after hurting himself to transform into the Dwarf giant.

--------

Furdin looks around for rope, and if he couldn't find any, would simply pick up the man after knocking him out.

Iver watched his friend transform within ten meters of him. The blast was not severe enough to toss Iver but it did shake the cage and the ground. The Dwarf Giant was on the field.

Telimekhtar roared, "SMAAAASHHH!!!" As he swung his greatsword through the first of the eternal guards. It countered quickly, shoving its shield into the field of impact and a loud THROOONG sounded as the sword dented the shield and flew back.

---------

Furdin saw that they were talking about the giant-ass crystal shard containing the fear-girl shifter. She was encased within it and they needed some rope to tie it to something in order for them to drag it. They couldn't just roll it now...could they?

8861015 14628767

At this moment Iver realized that even tho their group now had 3 people, only one of them had brain.
"Dim, no!" He shouted towards him and then he turned around, pulled his maiar blade and sprinted towards the guards, using his super speed to try and stab as many of them as possible, as fast as possible.

Iver's legs sped up and he flew past the ranks of guards surrounding Telimekhtar. The idiot had allowed himself to become surrounded. There were fourteen of them-no-wait-

He heard footsteps down the hallway and dozens more charged towards the prison. They were all huge, over eight feet tall and drenched in armor plates that put Gondor to shame.

14628767

Thoruk would stand still and wait for the heated air to do what he expected to happen. Create clouds.

--------------

Tamara would stay still and look at him. "Y-you will?" she'd ask, slowly going towards him, not sure of her own decision. But this guard seemed differently, he seemed friendly.

The drone of bagpipes filled Dimitri's ears. The Dwarf was on the field. "Aight, ya wazzocks, we ain't gonna be playin' around now!" He said, before sprinting towards the guards in an attempt to break the encirclement. "Tell, ya bastard, fight towards me! We gotta break this shit!"

Furdin was a bit on the slow side, it seemed. He finds some rope to use for the crystal.
