VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"Hmm," was all her master said, revealing nothing of what he was thinking. The scene around her began to dissolve, however, breaking up into strips of colored mist that blurred and writhed until she saw that she was once again inside the crystal, in Minas Tirith. "I have a task for you, then. There is a man in the first level, north of the principal gate, who owns a leatherworking shop, "Rondenan and Sons'". He is a friend. Go to him, and he shall furnish you appropriately for your journey." Mairon's voice was silenced for a moment, and the crystal began to fume until it had evaporated completely, freeing her. "Go."

'HE TALKED TO ME.' Dimitri loudly thought to himself. Matching the dignified sentence of Earendil, Dimitri said, "Mine lord, the sun is something I have not the strength to grab! But behold, the enemy charges forth at thou!" With an overly dramatic gesture, he sweeps his hand towards the Balrogs, Morgoth, and the Iver-beast... Wait, where was he? In his adoration for Earendil, he forgot that Iver had been hit with the beam of holy flame. Now, he tumbled down, like a kite caught in the wind.

Mirecyla fell on her knees once more, letting out a gasp of air as she was feed from the crystal prison. Hopefully with Mr Whites help and a lot of practice she would be strong enough to kill Sauron. Looking up she would say “Yes master, I’ll keave at once.” Standing up and heading to walk through the tunnels, keeping an eye and ear out for anyone

"Dammit, I have no more strength to sprint on." He thought to himself. Arming himself with a rock he turned to the bushes and with an exhausted tone said. "Enough running I guess, whoever you are show thyself."

Sigeric felt a disturbance in the force. In some distant place, someone had insulted his mother. He looked at Ha'zi incredulously. "He cleared you to go on the mission? Why?"

"Wait, you're coming with me?" said Daugo, half confused and half outraged for no good reason.

The tunnels were not nearly as winding and gloomy as they had been in Sauron's illusion, and she came upon an exit relatively fast. There were, nonetheless, three guards at the end of the corridor, playing dice on a small wooden table. They had yet to notice her, but certainly would if she waltzed past them.

Vingilote steered around with such haste that it reminded Dimitri of the War of Wrath and that ship's legendary history. It was so fast that it could outmaneuver dragons and once here it proved itself capable of avoiding the flailing whips of Morgoth's minions.

"BRING IT DOWN!" Dimitri understood their Black Speech through the memories of his predecessor.
"RIP HIM APART!!"
"THE SILMARIL! GET THE SILMARIL!"

The Balrogs leaped from the stratosphere and flew with unseen wings up to battle Earendil upon the ether. The Mariner swatted one away with his shield and threw a spear at another. It was five on one yet behold Dimitri's eyes, the Balrogs of Morgoth were losing...

Meanwhile, Morgoth's vengeful eyes were split between Vingilote and his brother's body. Orome had taken the full brunt of a silmaril. And for what? For him? This...this was more than a provision of loyalty. It was a statement. Orome could have easily allowed for it to have damaged him and taken the killing blow. He could have ended it here. But he chose not to. He elected to sacrifice his own wellbeing for me. Morgoth bent down to touch his brother's ashen face.
"Thank you, brother. I will not allow you to perish. Not before you see our new world."

"Dimitrius..." Teli whispered and clutched the Forochelrim's arm, "Anor...Aule...you must...awaken him..."

--------------------------------------------

Arandil heard a growl.

A brown spotted-leopard crawled out from the undergrowth. Its back arched, mouth opened, saber teeth bared.

-----------------------------------------------

"Oh, you," Beren laughed, "You think...you can fight me?" He broke into a mad fit of chuckling. "Oh, that's rich."

Suddenly Beren brought his hand down and the fireball floating above Thoruk's hand crashed into it, searing his Giant's skin and burning it before his eyes.
"What's wrong? Have a little accident, kiddo?"

--------------------------------------------

Iver had failed.

His dying giant fell from the starry ether into a bright blue sky. Its body flailed about uselessly as the winds smashed against it. He couldn't see anything from inside the nape but he definitely felt it around him. Air rushing past over the creature's scales. He was falling. Descending to his own demise. Below would be his doom. A series of memories flashed past him. His childhood...his brother and sister...Erland...Dale...King Bard...the Island...Sigeric...Daugo...the stupid black kid and the one who Dimitri warhammered....Thoruk...Marco...Arandil...Aranel...gonthot Miriel...Ha'zi's supposed children...Morgoth...Ilmare...Eonwe...all of it. He had so much to do...so much to live for...it couldn't all end here....especially....

Especially because he now had something worth truly fighting for. Something that he could call his. Someone. Shiva. She loved him. She was the only one who cared for him unconditionally. Yet now he would fail her too.

Iver had failed.

Arandil took a few steps back then waved his arms to make himself appear bigger. He kept the rock in his hand just in case he would need to smash a feline's skull.

"Faking gingers" Thoruk would think, looking at this pesky insect. "Fine then" he would think, starting to pour lightning in every last bit of his giant body, trying to create an aura of lightning, flowing through his entire body, protecting his skin like a armor. "Durin be with me." he would slowly think while charging up his body, while doing so he would try and sense heat around and especially underneath him. "Lava in the ground..." he would remember what Irdis had told him. Maybe these gingers tend to be on a rampage and have no reason for logic but they'll definitely not like to take a bath in lava. Yet, he had to hurry. If he found some sort of heat storage underneath him he would immediately pull it up onto the earth-skin.

The jaguar stopped and suddenly Arandil watched as its body convulsed, broke apart and in a few short seconds he was staring at what appeared to be a dirty Dina crouched on all fours in a feline position on the ground.

----------------------

Deep below Beren, the earth began to rumble and a vat of liquid magma erupted out of the ground.
"Wha-fuc-" Beren flew up just as lava spurted out of the earth and he went straight for the Elemental's head. "Surprised me there but not thi-" Beren was deflected by a shield of electricity which stunned him for a brief moment. He twitched and recoiled back. That sort of power would have usually killed anything, as Thoruk had previously used it on the creature he called Norio which was effective yet not conclusive. Yet this ginger fuck shook it off like it was nothing.

Thoruk would pour more and more lava up, surounding the area around them with it. "Nothing, not even a scratch. Bet that Aranel-lady sent him after me." Thoruk would think, still keeping the charge up, burning down the whole area around them with the lava, shooting a few fountains after Beren, yet not to eagerly as he tried to think of a way to get out alive. His oponent seemed to be completely imune to electricity and fire, yet he wasn't exactly into taking a bath in lava, so maybe it would have atleast a bit of impact on him. Yet, in this fight his possibilities weren't only limited by his thoughts, but sadly also by time and his finite power-source. This stranger seemed to be on another level, was he some sort of god?

"Oh, that's the funny thing, General. When I got up, they were gone. All three of 'em. Just me, Berethor, and the maid and the gal was there. Everybody else vanished without a trace or sound. I would've looked for them, but I had to deal with that nut first. So, I disabled his legs, took out his arm movement, and pinned him to the ground. As I went to take him to the rest of y'all, who oddly didn't check up on me until just then, Vard and his pals broke in then took me here."

"Now that we're all caught up, Belz, anything else you have to say? Questions? Comments? Outstanding praise?"

"Dina?" He said quietly not trying to grab any unnecessary attention from others that might be looking for him.
"What do you want? To take me back to them? After all this time I wouldn't have expected you to be one of those who would keep me hostage, who were torturing a poor lad, and who would wish to bring more death and destruction upon both my kin and your family." And for the first time that night, Arandil shed a tear of sadness, of distraught and even of anger.

"If you are not here to return me back to that accursed village, then let me go, I shall be gone and no one shall ever hear of my name again, as is with most mortals."

Belzagar disregarded Shin's commentary and spoke over him to Arcturus.

"Find the maid and the girl and Lady Eldrith. Bring them to me at once. Keep that house on watch. The rest of you are dispatched. Except you, Mister Sawyer." Belzagar waited until they had all left before he doubled down on Shin.

"You are to answer me as General or General Belzagar. If I am to hear that you referred to me as Belz from anyone I will have you suspended, your tongue cut out and I will make certain your own fellow soldiers banish you from this city. Do not forget who gave you what you have. Understand me, Mister Sawyer?"

-----------------------------------

"Arandil..." She coughed as she stood trying to cover herself well enough. Most of her clothes had been loosened and ripped in some areas leaving her scantily clad. She kept one arm across her bosom and another fastening her pants. "I did not know about the one who killed Joplin until today." She confessed. "And I don't want to take you back. You clearly hate it there. And probably me. As well as everyone else involved in this. But..." She was about to continue as she practiced in her mind when following his scent.

'I can't let you leave.' She thought yet the words that fell from her mouth had a much different meaning to them.

"I don't want you to leave."

------------------------------------

Beren's hands flew beneath him and suddenly Thoruk's lava field began to sink back into the earth. What the hell...

Was he....reversing his own power?!

"You surprised me. Really you did. If I hadn't been quick enough you might've swallowed me in rock for some time. But unfortunately for you, I'm better. In every way possible." The soil began to creep back over the falling lava.

"If I go back there, or If I remain here and they find me, Ill lose all my memories, of the boy Equas, of my brother, my companions, my parents, even you. I won't become a toy of those maniacs Dina. Come with me, come with me and we can make it out of here, together. We just have to cross the Anduin and into Rohan, after that we will be safe." He went closer to her dropping the rock he had picked up for self defense.

"Will you come with me? To lands far and safe?"

Shin's cheery and comfortable attitude disappeared at once. "I... I see. My mistake, General." He coughed, then shifted awkwardly in place.

Mirecyla hid herself once more, three guards all distracted. Deciding she wanted to save as much fear as possible she quickly sent fear signals to the one nearest to her, going to see what kept him up at night and what caused him distress

Juicy stuff came to her from the closest one, a blond chap of about thirty years. She learned that he had a crippling fear of Orcs, that just the idea of them made him wild with anxiety, all because of traumas during the War of the Ring. A memory came to her, even, of a battle in which the man saw an Orc rip with its teeth through his friend's throat and leave his head clinging to the rest of his body by a thin strip of flesh.

Ah orcs, quite filthy and brutal things. Never seen without the pack close behind, this would sure to be fun. Still behind the corner to where they were Mirecyla would concentrate on the picture of orcs, as she did so she let her magic fill out the rest, working cohesively between how she transformed part of her body into a mini version of her Giant then the creation power her fear brought to attempt to create 10 orcs at max

Six Orcs began growing out of her body, ripping themselves from her flesh after a few seconds of gestation. They were naked and marginally less ugly than most of their kind, but they were Orcs nonetheless and stood awaiting her commands, drool dripping from their mouths.
