VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Iver let out a grunting sound that was supposed to be a chuckle. Eru wasn’t the only one creating villains for his ego, Manwe did the same. The original shifters did not even had releasing Melkor in mind yet he sent them to kill and take their powers, causing the release of Melkor. He didn’t strike Melkor when he was weak, he allowed him to grow stronger, build up his strength. He killed Irmo and the people of middle earth who didn’t see him as the absolute hero that he thought he was, the apple did not fall far from the tree.

Iver looked back on his little adventure and realized that, it did seem to be like his choices never mattered, he was simply there to help the others and help them. He gave Daugo his giant powers even though he would could never possibly obtain them by himself. He took Thoruk on his saga to become the champion of the dwarves. He got Sigeric a meeting with the king of Dale, which Sigeric screwed up yet Iver had no saying in that matter. He tried to warn Hazi from the upcoming betrayal of Miriel and failed. He helped Orome make what little peace he managed to make with his past. He saved Dimitri from Manwe’s prison just so he alongside Teli and Aule could leave to wherever they did. He probably even helped that Arandil guy to start his own legendary adventure by bringing him to the village of the prototypes.

He was destined by Eru to be a fucking side character in the arcs of others, he wasn’t even the hero of his own story and Iver hated him for that. All of the suffering he went through was Eru’s fault, he didn’t have free choice, he was just a passenger in the ride of his life, watching everyone grow while he lost everything.
He lost his family while Hazi made his own, he lost his reputation while Sigeric and Daugo made their own, he lost his friends while Cardiloc and Dimitri made many of them, he lost his wealth while Thoruk became rich beyond any imagination and he lost his mind while Orome made his own.

Salvation, it was exactly what Shiva offered him, but he failed her and she hated him, he was sure about that. However, Melkor, he offered him a second chance. He offered him a second chance to fulfil his oath, second chance to find Salvation, a chance to gain his freedom back and a place in the new world, a world free from Eru and his corruption.

[rule]
“Ye-yes, of course” Vana would say and take a deep breath. Ulmo wasn’t corrupted, she knew it for sure. It only meant that the purification process will do nothing to him, so now all she had to do is get the guts to cut him.
“You are not cutting Ulmo, you are cutting, ummmm….” Vana whispered to herself as she prepared her blade, “Watermelon, you are cutting a watermelon” she would whisper to herself and slowly started cutting Ulmo, following Varda’s instructions.

Cardiloc sighed, was this really a great idea? He knelt, his hands touching the sands, thinking of something. He subconsciously began to search, search for a time when these were-worms crawled the surfaces of the deserts of Harad. He tried to project this image in front of him.”

Ranzolg would go to walk forward up to Gothmog and kneel. Going down one one knee and resting his arm on it bowing his head. He stared at the feet of the much bigger Balrog and couldn’t help but think about what he was doing. He had picked a fight for a reason! Snarling he would lash out, send a succession of quick punches for his knee.
————————————————————
Sigeric would smile, so he knew, well at least that was good. “I seek the benefit of my self and my new family just as all men do. If you cannot trust me for that then maybe I was wrong about you.” Sigeric would say clamping his fingers “No this shall not be awkward.” He said before going to fill the kings mins of the events of the attacks. The battle inside the city, the devastation, the battle against Tytus and Berethor, the prison break. Everything, although he edited the memory of when he froze everyone to Ben that of the Executioner using her powers
————————————————————-
Mirecyla would wait for the Uruk to speak

Dimitri shrugged his shoulders and looked around for his Warhammer. In his haste, he must have forgotten it back at the original camp. Ah, no matter. He held his hand up and waited. In the distance came a faint zoom, and then a loud crack as Fatebreaker flew through a tree and into Dimitri's hand with a thud. "Quite a useful feature." Dimitri said to himself. Then, to Teli, he said, "Let's go. Bout time you fight again." He then set off for the commotion, running through a dozen different scenarios in his head.

And before Cardiloc knew it...

KRAAAAAK

The sands around him exploded, the sky shifted from dark starry night to the golden gleams of dusk as a great wyrm rose out of the depths beneath him. The Dunlending viewed the agape mouth of the creature rise. They were so widespread that he would be swallowed in an instant.

---------------------------------

Aragorn's eyes widened as the slew of scenes filled his conscious. "What...." He murmured for a moment, stunned before regaining his composure. "What power is this? It was as if I were glimpsing into a Palantiri?"

The Palantirs were sets of location probing devices that the rulers of Gondor had long used to espy their foes or so Aragorn's thoughts informed Sigeric.

--------------------------------

As Vana began to slice through her brother's chest she felt Varda's stare on her. They were all watching. Waiting. The skin parted and she saw into his bodily form, an arrangement of organs and such that were merely there for visual appeal. The Valar crafted their bodies in the likes of the Children of Illuvatar and as such she found her way to his heart quite easily. It glowed lightly, gleaming a light blue with resonating shimmers of purity. There were no impurities. Not a single dark spot she could garner. His heart was spotless. Pure.

"If it is not in his heart...then it can only be in his mind. Purge it of the darkening, Vana." Varda proclaimed.

---------------------------

And without another word to be said, Iver was released.

--------------------------

Ranzolg's fists cracked against his cheiftan's knees. Gothmog stared down at him with disgust. "I expected no less." And his foot shot out and kicked Ranzolg's jaw with such shear force it cracked, his teeth shattering into millions of pieces and shredding apart his own tongue.

Munvare's hooked talon sliced Lungorthin's right hand off in a clean swipe. The lieutenant stared in astonishment at his dismembered limb giving the smaller Balrog enough time to counter-attack.

-----------------------------

Nearby a tree collapsed.

Dimitri's warhammer came to a halt in his hand, bewildering a couple onlooking Gondorians who then fled as the tree came crashing down missing them by quite a distance but it was nonetheless a terrifying sight for such men. They were still acclimatizing to the power of the giants but now magical warhammers? What had become of this world?

"Dimitri, I would love for nothing but to battle yet..." Teli looked from his comrade back to the host of Gondorians surrounding the young girl they called Tamara. "We must not allow her to fall into the wrong hands." He whispered.

Haldir had begun to stand and was wondering away from their camp.

"Oi, Daugo do something!" Ostopher called out a bit too loudly as their guide was leaving. But the Hobbit could barely hear over Arandil's recounts and Meryn's report.

Ha'zi's mind was filled with a number of thoughts that began to amass from the worried soldiers who had just seen Dimitri's flying warhammer to Shin's threats. Whoever's thoughts he had just read did not resurge. It was as if they had been lost to him or that his connection was muddied by the others rising dissimilitudes. He had to do something quickly. Should he warn Ostopher or-

He heard her name.

"Miriel."

And suddenly Ha'zi's mind locked into Arandil's boring into his memories without any warning. He began to see it all.

A village, people, Miriel, Iver, Thoruk, someone called Dina, Tytus and Berethor, others, so many others-and two little infants-one light and the other dark of skin. Ha'zi's heart spiked. He knew what he was seeing. Arandil's memories told him everything.

They had Marco. They were going to kill him and transfer his powers to Arandil then use another prototype's ability to convince him into aiding them in war against Gondor. Miriel was spearheading this war. She wanted it. She beat Tytus singlehandedly and claimed his position as chieftan of the prototypes. Miriel...that bitch...the woman who had betrayed them...the mother of his children...she was doing this. She was responsible for it.

Suddenly, he began to delve too deep. He began seeing a fight. Iver and Thoruk were there. Iver had grabbed his baby, a boy and was threatening to hurt him but he was disarmed by one called Lasser. That name...who was he?

Then he saw Miriel again engaged in combat with some other redhead...the one...oh Eru...it was her wasn't it? Aranel.

Through Arandil's memories, Ha'zi learned of Aranel's demise by her own sister's hands. Everything started to fall into place. What Miriel had said about her family...some of it hadn't been a lie. And now...now she had Marco. No wait...

Marco and Arandil had been rescued by Tytus and some young lad called Equas. Both of them had attempted to prevent this war. They were on their side...so it seemed. But then...Tytus ran away to draw their attention and Equas went back for Marco. Arandil lost sight of both and ran into the forest where he then met Dina? And they...what the fack...they started...okay then Ha'zi did not need to see that...but then the soldiers found him an hour later hiding in a bush. Arandil was fearful for his life. He was being hunted. Hunted by Miriel and the prototypes.

Ha'zi had to do something. He was the only one that could. None of these people...the Gondorians...Dimitri and Celeborn's murderer...not even Daugo...none of them knew what the prototypes were going to do. This diplomatic mission had failed from the start. They were going to kill them. Every last one of them. That much clear from Arandil's memories.

"Mateus, Furdin, stay with the girl." Kurio nodded to the two men. "Shin and Keratos. Arm yourselves. I sense a storm is nearing." The old man slowly stood, his cane assisting him as he lightly touched his rapier.

And so our story continues...

Cardiloc yelped in surprise as his plan worked, and without a moments thought he froze the fabrics of time around himself and the creature. He then took a step back to gaze upon this wyrm, in order to fully understand it's properties.

"No shit, Teli, but that still doesn't mean we can see what is happening. Now comrade, you better still be willing to kill. Because something tells me we may have to." Dimitri said, walking off with his warhammer ready. If only he had this Fatebreaker back in the days of yore. He'd be the mightiest warrior in all Gondor with it.

"Aye father, we should get ye back to erebor, this time with 10000 men guarding ye father, I ain't letting them capture you again.

But.." he' mumble. "I can't stay with ya there for long, I have given someone a promise for the favor to get ye back. I'm in a great dept now but it was a small price compared to your life father.." Thoruk would tell his father, clearly no Aranel anywhere near them. "Ye feel ready to take a little trip back north and see some familiar faces?" Thoruk would ask his father, having a slight glimse at the moon shining down upon them from behind his father.

--------------

"Important people?" Tamara asked and before she could even ask if she could join them she was cut off by a command of their superior as it seemed. "I wanna help you Sir Keratos!" she'd say as it seemed that they were about to scout ahead.

She wasn't realy sure that her own abilities could protect her, yet Keratos' certainly could. And besides that, she wasn't realy happy to stay with the two others. She'd rather go on a adventure on Keratos' side, beeing useful and not just sitting around. "I can help, let me prove it!" she'd say standing up.

"Damn..." Munvare whistled to himself at the impressive feat of lobbing off the lieutenant's appendage. Realizing that he had the opportunity to strike again, though, brought him to attack again, thrusting a fist into the shocked face of Lungorthin.
[rule]
"Aye aye, captain," Shin responded with mock formality. In all seriousness, the ranger readied his blade, his crossbow, his senses, and, most importantly, his tongue- can't be prepared without having snappy speech at hand, now can you?
[rule]
Ha'zi absorbed this all, bit by asinine bit. They had been duped. It's a trap. Rigged from the start.

How could... how could he have been so foolish? Believing that she had changed, or could be. Believing in some incompetent fantasy of a wide-eyed child. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

At least... at least what the girl had said and what he had seen was accurate. He had children. One particularly like him, and the other like Miriel. He didn't take to thinking too much of the insanity of Iver using one of his kids as a bargaining chip, but rather gripped onto the wonderful revelation that he still had flesh and blood in this conniving world.

But then... He wouldn't even be able to see them. Their mother had gone over the edge, plotting the demise of Gondor, enthralling Marco, and killing her sister... Aranel... Oh shit. Aranel. Aranel? Wasn't that... Oh. So, something about her story was true. She had a sister named Aranel... who happened to be the same exact Aranel he was after.... who happened to be dead. Great. Just... fucking... great.

What could he even do? Fight her... fight them? No, no... It would be too much. It would be impossible. Especially with the lives that could be affected in the midst of it...

Slowly, ever so slowly, Ha'zi slipped even further into resignation. Not even fully comprehending the decision, he trickled the perspective he had witnessed to the other members of his party as he descended into internal defeat.

Daugo listened to Arandil's tale carefully, but his thoughts were invaded in the midst of it by Ha'zi's message 'be on the lookout, something's going on'. He nodded, troubled, but tried to stay focused. "Indeed. You mean to tell us that the Proto-Giants are planning an attack on Gondor?" he asked Arandil, before hearing Ostopher's call. He turned toward the commander and raised his arms and shoulders in a gesture of 'there's nothing I can do'.
[rule]

The Uruk's eyes darted to and fro for a second, intimidated by Mirecyla's bloody visage. "Name's Hagaallakh. I'm workin' with Aglarlom--whole lotta white, big words and all? And you're Mirecyla. He told me 'a guide you inside Morgul Vale."

[rule]
Undolog's fiery eyes opened wide at the sight of Lungorthin's limb being severed. She thought about telling the Dark Lord that it might be a good time to call off the fight, but the prospect of a good brawl was alluring and she flew over to where Munvare was attacking the other balrog, crashing into the two of them shoulder-first.

''They are going to attempt a full scale war with Gondor. They are all mad. There were only 2 sensible Protos that understood that this would be wrong and risky beyond all expectations. And now both of them are being tortured beyond belief and are facing Lasser and Raddis' full and dreadful force. May those two rot in the deepest pits of Utumno, and Miriel alongside them.'' He told Daugo trying to catch his attention again.

Sigeric would let go of the Kings hand and look him dead in the eye. “As you know each giant has their own special power, mine happens to be that I’m able to memorize certain things and then also able to show others my memories. That is why I can make my body appendages turn into weapons in my giant form.”

He would run his hands through his hair and sit down on the table letting out a sigh “I realize it may be hard to trust me and I realize it may be hard to believe me, but your people have no clue what they are dealing with, there are foes bigger and worse than Morgoth and they’ll stop at nothing to bring us down. Clearly you know that the festival despite it being for goodwill is a bad idea. I can’t stop what is to come but I can prevent it to make it so we win. I just need you to trust me.”
———————————————————
Ranzolgs head would get shot backwards, he could feel his teeth shatter and jaw break, almost instantly he recognized he had fucked up, he wouldn’t be able to break him down like he could with Lungorthin, although dazed he would go to use his smoky visage to blind the bigger Balrog for a moment while he rushed for his Morningstar
———————————————————
Mirecyla scoffed and squeezed her hand, trapping the Uruk between her fingers “How many others are there? Tell me everything or I swear I’ll throw you all the way to the Misty Mountains.”

Time paused and so did the machinations of gravity and space. Cardiloc paused suspended in the air above the wyrm's gaping mouth. His eyes analyzed its brazen teeth, jaws solid enough to crack through the foundations of Arda. A mouth long and wide so as to accumulate the masses of soil, dirt, sand and other materials that it undoubtedly chewed through in its deep voyages. He could only imagine how deep its body delved into Arda...

-----------------------------------

A sickening crack echoed through the throne room as Munvare's fist collided with his opponent's cheek. Lungorthin fell back with a wheezed whimper but this was to no avail as Undolog crashed into his flank, sandwiching the lieutenant between her and Munvare. His remaining hand flailed about wildly attempting to slash at them.

A smokescreen blew out, temporarily hiding Ranzolg as he dove out of Gothmog's grasp. He could barely see out of his left eye and scurried after the morningstar which he located a few meters from the others. He noticed Undolog and Munvare battling Lungorthin who, much to his surprise, was being subjected to pain.

------------------------------

"You have my ear." Aragorn smiled. It was vague at first but now became more obvious to Sigeric. The King had his own suspicions of other evils at play aside from that of Morgoth.

-----------------------------

"Thoruk, laddy, I cannot leave ya!" Thrak refused to move. He stayed by his son's side. "Ya may be some chosen giant warrior by Mahal but I'm still yer father! And I won't be seeing my son off not just when I got 'im back!"

-----------------------------

Ostopher acknowledged that with a slight tip of the head. Haldir wondered off into the forest just as Arandil recounted his tale to Daugo, confirming those suspicions.

"Lady Tam you're not ready yet," Keratos said softly to her, "A bit more training and you'll be able to hold your own in a fight but this is serious business."
"Listen to him, youn' un'." Kurio backed up the burly knight, "It's safer for you he-" Kurio's words stopped short. His eyes froze and he touched his forehead lightly. "What's that?"

"Aaaaaaghhh!!!" Someone started screaming. Others began to panic, one man fell over and another began to vomit. A slew of images, memories, filtered from Arandil's mind and stored themselves through the minds of every soul there. Tamara, Daugo, Ostopher, Bastian, Shin, Dimitri and many others saw exactly what Arandil had experienced. Everything from the prototypes village and Miriel's denunciation of Gondor to the dalliance with Dina. Each member of their party was paralyzed in some way as they received these foreboding tidings, all but one...

"What is the matter?" The Son of Tulkas looked at the others who seemed to have turned into stone statues. Even Dimitri had paused inadvertently as these visions pervaded his mind.

They all began to understand that their mission, this undertaking was but a failure already. The prototypes were readying for war. Diplomacy was no longer an option. Unfortunately, the only one who did not understand was the young woman, Tamara herself. She had no clue what all of what she was bearing witness to was.

“That’s interesting.” Card shrugged, thought secretly pleased he had discovered the right beast for the task at hand, “Well, see you around slug.” He smirked, before disappearing, time resumed.

The Dunlending reached out for that mountainside he had just been on with Endo. “I found it.” He told the man.

'What in Tulkas' name was going on?' Dimitri thought, his mind plagued by these tidings.
"Well, its pretty obvious that some buggers are preparing to attack someone."
"And those buggers are familiar 'friends' to someone."

"Yeah, thats about all I gathered. Maybe they are servants of Lord Cunt of Mordor?"

Dimitri tried to snap out of this madness and said to Teli, "Some fucking CUNTS want to kill us all and told us this via vision, I suppose." Gripping his warhammer, Dimitri tried to relax and make a plan.

"Oh," Daugo said, feeling the weight of the situation crash onto his hopes. "I see. Thank you, lad, this has been most helpful," he told Arandil almost absentmindedly, as a thousand scenarios and possibilities ran through his mind. "Commander? I fear that we must adjust our plans rather drastically."

[rule]
"Calm down, bitch, I'm on your fuckin' side!" growled Hagaallakh. "Aglarlom isna exactly forthcomin' with information, is 'e? I'm 'a guide you through this, alone, so put me the fuck down and get yourself back into your regular form. P'raps then we'll be able to actually do somethin' about Sauron, 'stead of squabblin' 'ere like idiots."

[rule]
Undolog twisted violently and tried to take a bite out of Lungorthin's shoulder.

Sigeric nodded and smiled slightly “Your men must leave the room and I need you to swear that you won’t tell anyone the informative I give you. Not your most trusted advisors, generals, or friends. Not even your wife and child.”
———————————————————————
Ranzolg dashes maddeningly to his Morningstar, he cared not about Lungorthin or the brats who were brutalizing him, he needed his weapon to get an edge over Gothmog.
———————————————————————
Mirecyla snickered at the struggling and clearly panicked Uruk “I’m bitch now eh?” She’d say before squeezing her hand and throwing the body of the Uruk as far as she could, if the squish didn’t do it the throw surely would. Once done she would cover her head once more and begin to travel to the castle

"Father..." Thoruk would grab his father at the shoulder. He knew exactly how persistent he could be, so there was no chance for him to bring him to a safe place, the lonely mountain.

"But don't ye dare to give ye life for me, I'd rather lose my life than yours father. I've lost ye twice already, can't bare another time, ye can bet 'n that." he'd answer his request with a slight smile, yet the worries were overwhelming. Taking his father into a battle like this... might not only take his father's life, but those of many others aswell. He would not hesitate to chose between his father and his friends if it came to a point where he could only protect the one of both.

"A woman helped me to save ye father and for that.." he paused and looked at him. "Well, it's complicated, we have to search for some friends of mine, ye up to a little travel through our beloved middle earth father?" he'd ask him, getting rid of the worrying thoughts, enjoying the time right now and not thinking further ahead of what might happen in the future.

--------------
As even Keratos told her to stay here she was a bit angry. "But I can h-" she stomped with her foot into the ground before something hit all of them.

Memories flashed through her brain.

"What is..." she was frozen, but not only her body, also her mind.

A girl, a village, a... what in "Miriel! It doesn't have to be this way! You can still surrender!" a loud voice overcame the others and brought a headache upon Tamara.

A fight, 2 giants, almost like the one in minas tirith, but yet so different.. Fear overcame Tamara "T-There are more of them..."

Suddenly, the person she was witnessing was... in a house, not alone? "Mama...mama..." she heard in her thoughts as pictures of a tortured man came into her mind and someone crashed a door open. Two people came in "It's time.."

Then again, a sudden change to a other point.

"No! You have to keep running."
"You're weak. You have no powers!"
"We'll take care of it!"
"Yeah, leave it us!"

The thoughts where like a stinging pain in her head as more and more of them rushed through her head.
Almost like she was beeing tortured by someone.

She had no idea of what happend but as the pain ended she collapsed onto her knees.
It was nothing put physical pain, but to much for her to handle right now...

''We must make for Gondor, before they do. Time is of the essence.'' Little did Arandil know what just happened. All of his memories spread and were planted into the minds of each and every one of the people around him. ''What.. what happened to all of you?'' He asked with utter confusion.

"Welcome back to the brawl, bitch," he cackled as Undolog rammed into the two. "Let's finish him off, eh?" Munvare unhinged his mouth to its full extent, then went to chomp Lun's neck.
[rule]
"Oh. Oh,
ho ho. This is... mmm.." Shin murmured, relishing in the steamy clip he was shown. This is, clearly, what he took the most account of from the set of first-person experiences, paying miniscule attention to the rest. He did wonder, subconsciously, "Why was everyone else in such a fret? No need to be in a fuss over these... wondrous... images!"
[rule]
Galador, the polar opposite of Shin as always, was deeply disturbed. This was one hell of a shitshow... and they didn't even arrive at the camp yet. Trembling, he played the horrific visions over in his head, static.
