VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Daugo looks at the magnificent warhammer lying a ways off from Dimitri and chuckles nervously. Without a word, he grabs it by the handle, trying to drag it to where the man was, since he was almost certain he would not be able to lift it.

"You... look..." he says, strained, "liiiike shit..."

Iver saw that hazi is about to get eaten, alive. Iver dived in full speed toward the dwarf giant and when he was close enough he screeched with all that he had left. Sending him slowly falling toward the ground short after that

Sigeric found the shifter staring back at him. She seemed perplexed he discovered her but that slowly changed to a look of anger. Sigeric felt an electrical presence in the air and then a voice spoke in his mind.

"Missed me, did ya? Now, I'd suggest you go get your big friend and crack open the shell like a good boy otherwise she'll just regain her energy and use it to shift again. She can't be moved without the Warrior Giant. Be a good little man and go fetch Ha'zi."

--------------

The Flying Giant's scream offsets the Dwarf. It had bitten into the Warrior's back but the screech offset the Dwarf Giant so much, even the shifter's ears started to bleed. Iver's body fell to the ground next to the Warrior. Before the Dwarf could rip out Ha'zi, Cardiloc flew in with Eonwe, the Maia's blade slicing through the Dwarf's cheek muscles and letting its jaws go slack. Ha'zi felt the thing biting his nape and knew it was desperate. He had to take it down.

Cardiloc swooped around with Eonwe on his back aiming for the Dwarf Giant's nape.

Iver glided to the ground 20 meters away from the Warrior. He felt himself fall asleep as the last of his energy was exhausted. His bat-form ejected him from the nape, the back of the neck opening to let him out. Illmare pulled him out and into her arms, then grabbed Thoruk as well and pulled them away from the carnage moving towards Daugo and the survivors.

The Dwarf Giant ripped its teeth out of the Warrior and lunged towards the Flying, jumping over the Warrior. Ha'zi could see it in mid-air in front of him. If he didn't do anything Cardiloc and Eonwe would get killed by the Dwarf.

With a sly smile, the Warrior shoots out its arm forward to grab the Dwarf's foot, yank it backward, and put the other arm around it's neck.

The Dwarf twisted and contorted but was shoved into the ground. It reached its claws out to swat at the hand of the Warrior that reached for its neck.

Margoz would run up to Dimitri and starts carrying him, "hold on to that Warhammer, Daugo. We shall take him to safety," as Margoz takes him somewhere safer. He felt ashamed of himself, wasting every second feeling useless back then. This shall change now.

"Be good if he grabbed the damned hammer," he mutters under his breath as Margoz rushes past him towards Dimitri. He sighs with relief as he sees the Lady Ilmarë coming over to him with his friends, but is immediately worried as he sees both of them unconscious.

Daugo gestures to all around him to follow him. "I've made this little trek before," he says. "I'll get you to safety, but mind the fact that there are giants brawling around us, and that we must be careful. Better cautious than dead, I'd say, and I hope you all agree with me on that."

The Warrior sees this as an opportunity to use it's strength in the form of a hard slap to potentially knock out the Dwarf.

The Dwarf's jaw opens to eat the hand.

-------------

Thoruk was slowly waking up. He felt something like never before. He felt...completely fine. Refreshed. Rejuvenated. He felt himself moving. No, it wasn't him. He was being carried. Then he heard it. The fighting. The screaming, the sound of giant's fighting, the ground trembling, the sky filled with ash. He saw it, his dwarven eyes opened to see everything. He was being pulled through the ground by Illmare. She dragged him away from the battlefield.

Grimnir also awoke. He felt alive, again. He could feel his legs. His face was coated in blood, his axe in the body of the dead man next to him. He could see the man more clearly. He was clearly young. His face was in shock, the axe cut deep into his chest. He had a mark, one of those tattoos, on his neck.

A black shadow of what appeared to be a spear. If Grimnir looked down he would see the same mark on his neck. He had taken the power of this giant shifter. The Destroyer.

Grimnir was stuck inside the dead corpse of the Destroyer Giant. He was surrounded in a pool of blood and other unidentifiable liquids.

"Illmare" he mumbled "Where... where am I? Where are we going?" he slowly started to ask while getting louder again. "What in Durins name is going on there?" he asks the Maia Lady, still confused about what happend and what was happening right now. "The last thing I can remember is beeing a ghost and speaking to my grandfather... was that just a dream?" the seemingly confused dwarf asked while beeing carried away from the battle ground.

Grombrindal awoke, and stretched out, looked at the young lad next to Him who thought he could defeat the Legendary Dwarf, even in giant form. Never was he So wrong. The dwarf grabbed his legendary rune Axe and starts to cut through the stomach to get out of the dead Carcass, to show the others he is a Son of Durin, and very much still alive.

Grimnir met the sunlight as he exited the body of the Destroyer Giant. He saw everything. The death. The destruction. The sky filled with ash, the volcano, the destroyed city, the scores of bodies littering the valley, the Giants still fighting.

"We're on the battlefield, we have to get away in case the Warrior loses this fight. Help carry Iver." She handed Thoruk the body of his unconscious friend. "He saved you from the Elemental. You both killed it together and you broke your back, he flew you to me and I transferred the power of the Elemental to you. You're now a Giant." Marco ran over and joined them, seemingly injured but alive.
"You guys okay?"

The Dwarf Giant began to choke, unable to move, its body kicked out in pain. It twisted around, clawing at Ha'zi's arms but to no avail. Its face-armor began to crack at the neck and Ha'zi could feel it losing energy...

"You again?" Sigeric exlaimed coldly. "If you are so interested in giving us advice, why don't you materialize from the Void in person and help us?" Still, the Trickster's words did carry reason. Sigeric climbed back out of the underground room, surveying the battlefield.

The Warrior ignores the dying creature's futile attempts at escaping, and continues tightening it's grip on the Dwarf's neck.

"The giant... I need the power... the Dwarf... I must.." Dimitri groaned. The pain was overwhelming, consuming, but a small part of him called for life and relief. He wanted to live and would take control of everlasting life from the beast that unintentionally tried to take it. That would be an excellent insult.

The Dwarf's neck cracked open with a POP and its head from the body. The Warrior griped the decapitated corpse of the Dwarf Giant and saw inside its nape, the shifter, hidden underneath its skin.

Sigeric escaped and saw what had occurred. Ha'zi was victorious. The voice chimed in, "Hey, man. Listen, I ain't Morgoth or anything. I'm not your enemy. I'm merely here to help. Like I said, go get Ha'zi to crack open her crystal before she can get away. Honestly, I would join you lot but there's no need. Seriously, Sigeric, I expected better of you. Insulting me is petty, even for you. I expected it from Grimnir but not you. I need you to fulfill your destinies. Gain your freedom and be done with these monsters. I-A-M-H-E-R-E-T-O-H-E-L-P."

Osk gazed at Dimitri, understanding and said, "Okay." before hauling him towards the Warrior Giant.

Sigeric ignored the voice's meaningless banter, and looked to the Warrior Giant. It seemed that he had been victorious. "Ha'zi!" he called. "I need your assistance with the Guardian Shifter! She's underground!"
