"Dimitri? Oh-" Sam said looking across the destroyed street to where Osk was picking up Dimitri and hauling him onto his back with Elodrin's corpse on the other shoulder. Daugo saw the state the brute was in, even if he was a brute, it was still his friend. "Shaza, este, koranulizinarbulinur." Illmare spoke in a strange language which sounded too harsh to be Elvish and was nothing like Westron or the Common tongue. It was nothing like Iver had heard as he watched her place her palm on the forehead of the Elemental Shifter and saw his face begin to light. His eyes and mouth began to protrude light as if he were transforming but Illmare kept her palm over him and slowly the light dissipated leaving the body. Iver saw the helix mark on its neck burn and slowly began to form on Thoruk's body.
"There, it is done. Take Thoruk and let us leave." Illmare said looking around for any other survivors before mounting Iver, without his consent, and riding him. 14628767

Peering down into the dark earth Sigeric saw a small cavern had been created by the Guardian. It was coated in the same material it had used to make its weapons, some hard organic substance. In the middle of the cavern, connected to the organic cord, was a shard of some sorts. He could see through the shard, it was luminescent like a diamond, and within he saw a woman. She was dressed with old-fashioned laces and wore a proper lady's dress. Something similar to those high-status women of Dale that his mother had always encouraged him to marry. Her eyes were opened and for a brief second, he thought they moved.

Cardiloc's claws raked its nape and a loud SCRUNCH occurred. As he looked back he saw the nape of the Dwarf Giant had been completely sealed over by some armor. What? Could it do that? Now it was virtually indestructible. The Dwarf turned to see Cardiloc but did not engage him, he kept holding onto the Warrior's back, riding Ha'zi's giant. The two stared each other down, seething hatred between each other.
Ha'zi was slowly healing. He could feel his fists returning but it was taking time. His eyes as well though he could still not see. What was going on out there?
Eonwe rushed out onto the battlefield to see what was happening. The entire city was wiped out, the volcano erupting, the Warrior being ridden by the Dwarf whilst the Hybrid fought it, the dead Destroyer decaying in the background, the corpses of horses, men, women and even the Guardian Giant scattering the bloody valley-floor. It was a massacre. Why had the Valar done this? Why did they cause such death and destruction? Especially to innocents? People who never wished to be in such a scenario. Why had they sent him here to watch this? To torment him? To punish him? These questions plagued him but he wiped them away. The Valar know what they are doing. I cannot question them, he told himself, again and again like he always did, ignoring their faults, failures and flaws. Eonwe unsheathed his blade and called out,
"Cardiloc! To me!"
