VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"By Durin, this gigantic thing..." he whispers towards the Maia "If someone wakes it up.. well, we would have to use our giant powers for sure." He pauses for a bit. "Do you think its... the last giant?" he asks the Maia, seemingly interested in that creature. "If so" he turns towards Iver "Aye lad, we should start and train with our giant forms a bit, but not close to this area, don't ya think?"

"Quiet possible. However all of you go inform Illmare and the others about it. If you need me come out and tap me on the shoulder, if you can reach it. We don't want to risk giving away our position yet." He'd respond to Thoruk while also making sure that Iver and Grimnir heard him. Giving them a nod he would leave them where they were standing and head back to his post.

"You may return home." Ilmare said to Daugo and the others who were not shifters. 13527980

Iver entered the cave and walked straight toward Illmare. "We found something big in the water, it might be the behemoth. You might wanna get all of the noon shifters out" he told her.

"I say go in Silence." The dunlending gave his verdict to Illmare. "It's unlikely these Valar will pursue us, though these spies trouble me."

"Go to Utumno, Grimnir," he mutters quietly, away from the disrespectful dwarf. After everything that happened the day before, all the death and pain, he wants to make jabs at the others? Even those who died so we could live? Disgusted, Ha'zi moves closer to the front of the group near Pyrus.

Upon seeing the monster, Ha'zi showed very little interest in it. So, he turned arms crossed, to Pyrus, "What now?"

"As soon as the last Giant's power is taken." Ilmare stated.

"What? What's outside?" Ilmare asked. The rest of the group now turned to Iver. 14628767 13527980

Pyrus would lead Ha'zi back inside the cave, somewhat frustrated he would say to the boy. "Go and talk with the others, if that is the last giant it is your duty to go and be there when they discuss strategy. If I'm needed come get me."

"ok all no shifters pack your things and follow Illmare GO" he told the crowd around him. "Illmare, take them all to safety away from the shores, we might engage either a monster or the behemoth soon and I don't want the others to get hurt" he told her.

As Iver tells everybody about the creature they had seen, the mighty dwarf gets his axe off his back again and starts to sharpen it even more than before. "Aye lads, Iver's right, we got this." he says with a slight grin coming through his cold face-expressions.

"You heard, Iver. Let's go." Ilmare said, indicating for them to follow her out of the cabin. 13527980

Ilmarë's answer is satisfactory. In days, maybe even hours, her word would either be disproven or confirmed, and, if what she says is true, Daugo would be on his way home...

But what would he be coming back to? Pomona owned their little Breelander hobbit-hole, so he would have no roof to return to. Bree most likely regarded him as a murderer, and half the Shire knew him to be a conman. Buckland might provide a grudging home, but all his savings were in Bree, with his whore of a wife.

Dismayed, he comes to the realization that there is simply nothing for him there, save his children, and every day he spends on this island is months, years away from them in which the memory of their father will fade from their minds. He has nothing.

It is with moist eyes and a half-hearted manner that he acquiesces to what the shifters are telling them all. He trudges behind Ilmarë in a black mood, sullen and depressed.

"Aye, lads" the mighty dwarf says, clearly talking to the other shifters "We should prepare for what will come." as Thoruk walks out of the cave towards Pyrus "Aye lad" he says as he swings his axe around a few times "The non shifters are leaving together with the Maia lady, what're we going to do now?" the mighty dwarf asks as he puts his axe onto a stone and sits down onto the stone aswell.

Sigeric had been silent during the commotion. A thought had just occurred to him. If their powers were to be lost after defeating the Valar, where would those powers go? If they could simply vanish, then why was it necessary for the Valar to kill them? He was about to ask, but the announcement about the creature interrupted his thoughts. Sigeric left the cabin with the others, motioning for the shifters to group together.

There was a loud animalistic noise. Like a whale's calling except louder. It echoed through the cove, entering the cave and alerting everyone. Those who had gone outside of the cave would see something huge emerging from the water. Armored scales, reptilian-like orange eyes, an enlarged snout and a jade green camouflage gave away it's nature. It was an adult Crocolion nearly 10 meters wide and 30 meters long. It emerged from the sea, water falling off its scaly skin as its frontal legs sunk into the beach.

"Let's get to the jungle and away from the Giant Shifters incase this gets out of hand." Ilmare said, leading Daugo, Victas, Osk, Marco, Sam, Silesia and the others away into the dense lush rainforest.

Pyrus saw what was happening and all the shifters heard the call of the creature. If it was anything like the younger one, it was deadly. But so were they.

The dunlending looked to Illmare within the cabin. "What if a shifter wants to leave, return home. I have a family in Dunland." He questioned Illmare in a slightly hostile tone.
---------
As he left the cabin and noticed the Crocolion Cardiloc was filled with immense anger at the sight of the Creature. He ran towards the beach and swiftly began to transform into a sleek jet black giant wolf. The wolf bared its teeth, howled in fury and waited for the others signal to engage.

As the migthy dwarf looks down to see a gigantic version of what they had slain coming out of the lake, he get's up from the stone, grabbes hold of his migthy axe and looks around towards the others. "I guess that's not the Behemoth? Or is it? It looks like the thing we have slain when we stranded here a'ight?" he asks with power coming through his voice, seemingly full of energy and ready to use his newly gained powers he addes "Aye lads, let's show this bugger what we're made off."

"Do not allow these powers to make you grow overconfident. Fight as a group, and support each other." Sigeric had hoped that he would have time to learn how to use his new abilities. It appeared, however, that his first test would be on the battlefield. He cleared his mind, and focused his thoughts on transforming.
