VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Daugo blinks away the wetness in his eyes. "I did. I do. I have siblings, and two children. I had a wife. And like you, I could blame everyone else for my misfortunes. Nothing happens on its own, after all, actions have consequences far beyond what we can hope to expect. My friends did not choose to come to this wretched island, and we were well-nigh forced to do the Mayer's bidding. But I have come to see that we have made nothing but mistakes since we got here." He pauses, looking a the ground.

"Are you going to kill me?"

The man remained quiet, looking at his bleeding palm before he spoke, "Answer me this first. Have you ever killed a man? A woman? A person?" 13527980

Iver's claws ripped into the Crocolion's last eye, blinding it completely. The creature raged in anger, dashing left and right, flicking with its tail. 14628767

Iver flew back to safety. Now, all he need to do is get the monster distracted long enough for the others to finish the first. He looked around for anything heavy he could throw into the water that would attract the monster...

Daugo remains motionless. Even his breathing abates. He should probably answer "no, I have not". The man seemed to be some self-righteous moral freak. Someone that wished to live would answer that way.

He was not entirely sure he wanted to live.

"Yes," he says at length. "Twice. The first time was an accident. I'd gotten home after a long day at work and..." he says in a bitter tone, "and I found my wife in bed with my coworker. Something came over me, and I attacked him. Bob. That was his name. I pushed him, intending to give him a beating, but the bastard... The bastard hit his h-head and cracked it o-open." He shudders, tears streaming freely down his anguished face. "I never wished to kill him."

He breaks down weeping for a few seconds, regaining his composure eventually. He gulps, and says, "the second time was not an accident. We were escaping the slaver ship, and I found myself in the captain's quarters, alone, with the man sleeping in his bed." His voice acquires a certain shrillness. "I slit his throat with a knife. It was my only choice. I was too weak to fight against him fairly, and the moment he woke up, he'd have had me flayed. So I killed him. And now you will kill me."

Iver found nothing to throw. He could try to hit it with a palm tree if he ripped it out of the ground? 14628767

---------------

There was a pause after Daugo had said this.

"You and me. We're the same." The man said, emotionless. He was no longer hostile or depressed yet bore what resembled drive. "We were just innocents. Oblivious to the actions of this cruel, unjust world." He stood, offering his hand to Daugo, "Get up. It's time to make those who created such injustice pay." 13527980

Maybe he could throw something outside of the cove..... He flew outside and saw a nice looking rock and without thinking twice he dumped her into the water.

While Iver was disabling the new Crocolion, Ha'zi began to runs towards the smaller one. With little thought about the pain, Ha'zi, again, bites down hard on his tongue with the goal of defeating these beasts.

The wolf seeing the bat distracting the creature, began to charge towards the sea creature letting out a deep howl. Moving around the others fighting it charged head first towards the crocolion planning to use its paws to restrain the creature.

Iver's rock thudded off the armoured back of the reptile whilst Cardiloc's assault managed to allow him to get his claws around the creature's soft underbelly, raking through it. The second larger Crocolion's guts fell out as it died to the Giants.

WHOOSH

The Warrior Giant appeared again, facing the remaining Crocolion which had eaten the Destroyer's arms at this point. It saw its dead companion and slowly began to turn away from the Giants, fleeing back into the ocean with a flick of its tail. It was already disappearing into the depths.

The Elemental, Dwarf and Destroyer Giants had done close to nothing and the victory belonged to the Warrior, Guardian, Flying and Hybrid Giants.

-------------------------

"We're going to destroy the Door of Night and release Morgoth to fight the Valar." Said the man, pulling Daugo up. They faced each other, the Behemoth having to look down at him, as both clutched each other's hands. Daugo felt the shifter's bloody hand clench around his own.
"That is the only way to get justice from this merciless world." 13527980

Well, this was unnecessary, Ha'zi thought as he noticed, just right after he transformed, that the battle was over. Oh well. At least he helped hurt the one Crocolion a bit. Sighing, Ha'zi pushes his way out of the Warrior's neck, and waves to Iver to help him down. 14628767

As the Guardian Giant's head was severed, Sigeric woke up disoriented within a crystal underneath the beach. How would he escape? Could he control it? He willed the crystal to open, stepping out and grabbing his weapons if he succeeded.

CHAPTER 6: BEHEMOTH

"Like this." The man's firmly gripped onto Daugo as a light began to exude out of his hands, then his body, then the surroundings, then all Daugo felt was a steaming, burning sensation.

------------------------

As Ha'zi emerged from the nape of the Warrior Giant a loud BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG shook the island. Sigeric felt the ground shake as he emerged from the crystal. The little cave he had caused in the sand was easy enough for him to climb the sides and escape from.

An explosion unlike anything ever seen in Middle-Earth occurred 80 meters away from the beach, a huge swathe of the jungle was destroyed and in its place was a smoldering, flaming Giant. A crater was left beneath it and it seemed to be kneeling. It was abysmally gargantuan. A Giant, approximately 75 meters in height and half that in width slowly began to move, its limbs awakening slowly. Even though it was kneeling, it dwarfed all the other giants. It was surrounded by flames and had burnt all the jungle around it. Even its body was the color of fire, a crimson red skin with pale white bones. Its head slowly turned to look upon the Giants on the beach as its great hands brought up columns of flame, throwing trees and earth into the air. It began to stand...

Dimitri watched the Behemoth emerge from the middle of the jungle and asked himself: How the fuck can we kill fire? Dimitri pulled his giant away from the blast, towards possible safety, and waited for the others to figure out a plan.

(Reply to Kye).

"I do not fear death, it is natural. All men must die. But I do fear what comes after it. Is it nothingness? Is it a paradise? A hellish place? Something in between? Or something else?"

As Thoruk realises that this has to be the Behemoth, the final giant, he looked up towards it's gigantic hight and indeed feels like a *tiny dwarf*. He turns towards the behemoth and starts to think "Hm, I'm an elementar giant, so I should be able to controll fire and water." "Aye, sure I do" he says as he sees the blazing sparkles and flames around the behemoth. "I should try and make his fire a bit more useless, but I shouldn't ignite it even more.." The migthy dwarf begins to think about memories that would help him suceed once more as he turns his arms towards the other giant. "Hm..." he says as he sees the forges of his home town clearly infront of him. The forge's fire's getting ignited and getting turned off again, iron melting and fire going out on purpose. "Aye" he says as he has a clear picture of what he would need in order to suceed here. "Let's to this" he motions rather to his new self than the others.

Pyrus was watching the fight with interest, noticing the warriors of the group when suddenly a large blast of wind and explosion even lopped the surrounding land and he turned to the source warhammer now in hand, his head tilting slightly he would let go of the warhammer with one hand and throw it up in the air. "You've got to be shitting me."

Sigeric climbed out of the pit created in the sand, and rose to his feet. The larger beast had been slain, and the smaller appeared to be fleeing. He would not need to transform again after all. Suddenly, the explosion from the jungle overwhelmed his senses, and he witnessed the Behemoth Giant arise. "Perfect bloody timing..." Sigeric muttered, looking around at the state of the other giants. None of them were prepared for this. His Guardian Giant possessed limited mobility, and thus Sigeric would need to be extremely cautious in choosing when and where to transform.

As Ha'zi was waiting for Iver to come around to pick him up, he saw an explosion coming from the jungle. Startled by the heat, which he could even feel from here, Ha'zi desperately went back into the Warrior's body. Maybe it wasn't that useless after all.
