VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Unsure if the battle is realy over already, Thoruk stays in his giant form and moves towards the others. He looks at the behemoth-shifter with a glimmer of joy on his eyes as he is cought and pinned down by Iver, crying around like a orc before thinking "Aye, this bugger has the power to control such a large thing?" A few moments later he addes in thoughts, while moving towards the others "Wait... somehow this seems familiar to me, a small person in a gigantic-form.."

Pyrus would walk over to the group and squat down next to the behemoth looking him in the eyes. Putting his warhammer next to him he would say "Shut up." *His voice filled with command.*

"I'LL NEVER SPEAK TO YOU DEVIL!" The Behemoth Shifter screamed at them, answering Sigeric's question. Then Pyrus came closer and spoke and he went silent.

The group of survivors made their way over to the cave top, "We're the only ones left. He slaughtered us with that blast." Silesia said, pointing at the Behemoth Shifter. "Kill him, now."

At least one of them have brain in his skull. Iver thought while hazi tied the shifter up. Once the kid was done he got off him and sat on the ground, resting

Cardiloc turned to Dimitri when he gave his comment about kneecaps and snorted angrily at him a big glob of pig spit landing on the Northman. He then noticed the crystal and trotted over to it to inspect it.

"We all know what needs to be done." Sigeric said. "We need to decide who shall inherit the power." He looked to the Shifter. "I apologize, but you have left us no choice. None of us wanted to be trapped on this island. All of us have been manipulated by forces far beyond our control. I realized that far too late. I doubt that you can forgive us, but perhaps you will at least understand."

"Devil." The Behemoth Shifter spat at the feet of Dimitri, "Kill me and forever be damned." He said to Sigeric.

Cardiloc was ensnared by the sight of the glowing crystal. It was round and curved and beautiful. He was attracted to it in a way Cardiloc had never felt.

Hypnotized, Cardiloc continues trotting forward right up to the pearl. He lowers his snout and grabs onto the object with his mouth. Cardiloc now trots up the mountain to the rest of the group.

"Then what would you have us do? Release you, so that you can breach the Door of Night and unleash the Dark Enemy upon the world? Then we would all be damned, I'm afraid." He glanced at Ilmare. "What will happen when the last Shifter's power is transferred?" Pyrus was nearby, and Sigeric could not openly discuss their change in plans concerning Valinor.

"We'll leave this prison." Ilmare said as she trudged forward. She seemed to be burnt a bit but had major healing it. Was she blasted into oblivion as well?

"Yes, let me free and I'll free this world from its pain." The Behemoth Shifter shouted angrily, phlegm and other viscous fluids escaped his mouth.

Iver looked at Illmare and the other survivors and finally realized what have the behemoth done. He got up grabbed the tied shifter and brutally teared him into two, smashing the head against the ground. He did not deserve mercy, he is a monster.

The Behemoth Shifter died then and there. His brains were littered across the rocky roof of the cave and blood splattered everywhere. They all saw a dark black spot on his neck, right where his nape would be, begin to burn. It was too damaged at this point to make out.

Daugo felt a searing burning at the back of his neck as the Shifter died. The others could see a small tattoo had begun to form, burning itself in. It was a black flame.

Dimitri frowns as he watched the man get ripped apart. "He was a murderer, but still a man. He shouldn't have died like some weak orc among hungry ones." he said.

Daugo looks around at everyone wildly. Then he heaves and vomits onto the ground.

Iver had asked him to tie the Behemoth down, and he had found that he didn't want to. He'd felt a... a strange kinship towards him, and though a part of him had known what he should do, he had stayed there, paralyzed.

And now here he is, getting his powers. He surmises as much from the looks on his companions' faces. "Don't tell me..."

Ha'zi had just put his finishing touches on the rope around the man when Iver suddenly grabbed the shifter and tore him in two. The poor boy was covered in the man's blood and looked sickenly pale, "Iver... you monster.." He shakily gets up and moves towards the entrance, "I think I'm going to be sick..."

Ilmare ignored the gore and spoke to them all, "Mourn those who died in the fires. Bury those you can and once that is over, we shall begin."
