VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Thoruk hears the screech and goes toward the entrance of the mountain. "I need to somehow create a fire, I won't stand much of a chance going around without any armour." Thoruk thinks as he tries to remember the previous shifter's memories. He's able to see the previous shifter using the weather and tries to create a lightning. He focuses onto the power within him and aimes for a tree trunk near the entrance of the city in order to light it up with fire.

Pyrus couldn't lift the soil, he could however, summon a shovel. Quite handy. What else could he do? Aule hadn't taught him these abilities. He was a worker Maiar after all, all he did was serve his Master obediently. But not anymore.

After fifty-six more minutes of shoveling cold hard dirt, they unearthed the skeletal corpse. Its bones were sickly white and not a bit of flesh remained on them. How long had this guy been dead for? And why did Morgoth take such an interest in him?

Azura began taking the bones and placing them in a sack, "Alright, let's get going." She said to Pyrus once they were done, taking his hand. "We'll return these to Mor-"

TSH

In front of Pyrus and Azura two people appeared. No. Not people. Ainur. Azura nearly shit herself. Not from the fright of two people teleporting directly ahead of her but from the sight of them.

One was huge and bulky. Beyond bulky. Insanely bulky. If Pyrus inquired to Illuvitar about the definition of the term 'bulky' Illuvitar would show him an image of this person. He recognized him. He had seen him. In the War of Wrath and in nearly every war before it. He could never forget the sight. Muscles bulging, golden hair and beard, laughing raucously like a lion, fierce and hardy. Tulkas. And next to him, was another sight. A Maiar. No, the Maiar. Once the leader of them but now a disgrace, Eonwe. He was wearing some black armor and robes and bore both his Maiar-blade and longsword. This was not good. Not good at all. Before Azura could teleport them away the big one spoke,

"I'll be taking that, thank you very much." and grabbed the bag, ripping it out of Azura's grasp easily and laughing at their stunned faces.

"Suppose my reputation preceeds me." He gave the bag to Eonwe who glared at Pyrus with cold eyes.

"What, just gonna stand there and let me end you? That ain't fun." Tulkas said, taking a fighting stance whilst howling haughtily.

Pyrus had two choices. Die or die. Luckily Azura gave them a third. Within a blink of the eye, both of them disappeared and re-appeared in a familiar place. The plateau of Gorgoroth. Azura looked at Pyrus, with shock and astonishment as well as dread in her eyes. They just narrowly escaped the most physically strongest of the Valar and now they had to report to the most powerful that they had just lost Turin Tarambar's bones. However, Pyrus was still holding onto Gurthang, the dark sword.

"Pyrus, he's going to kill us," she said, worriedly, "What do we do?"

There weren't any trees around but Thoruk could see some unused frozen logs nearby. Lightning hit them, his power had worked, yet the flames died out almost instantly as a draft of cold air blew away the tinders. This wasn't working.

The entrance awaited them, darkness looming inside. What would they find?

"Aye, damnit" he thinks. "It's even to cold for fire out here. Well, then I should atleast stop the freezing wind." With a few deep breathes he concentrates onto the wind in order to stop it. After that he would nod towards Iver and return towards his dwarven form as he enters the mountain-fortress while saying "Maybe I overcomitted a bit, but I'll be able to use it again when we're on the real battle-field lad."

Sigeric shook his head at Iver. "Your mission is utter foolishness. The fate of Middle-Earth is at stake, and you're going to Mt. Gundabad to save a Dwarf who you only assume is alive? I cannot waste my time on such an errand, and I would recommend that you reconsider."

Sigeric spent the rest of the day gathering supplies and preparing for his journey. At first light, he would ride east through the High Pass.

"That was Tulkas. That was fucking Tulkas." He would say astonished, with his brother. What had happened in Valinor. Looking over at Azura with wide eyes "We have the sword, the problem is that the bones are with Tulkas and Eonwë. We will be punished that is certain, however I'm going to need your help along with the help of any other of your allies." He would say turning around and pulling out the sword, planting it into the ground, waiting for Morgoth. "We have a king to join us."

"The thing is, Thoruk will not change his childish dwarfish mind and by helping him travel we would get this thing off the list. We can go there, Thoruk will either find his dad or his dead dad and we will be able to continue in our journey to dale. If you will decide to join us let me know and tell thoruk to pack extra supplies" Iver said.
He decided to eat the food he took, read part of his book and then slept untill thoruk woke him up.

Daugo shrugs. "Yeah, I'll go with you. The name's Burgins. Daugo Burgins," he tells the Ñoldor, not particularly minding the fact that he would be separated from the others.

((Timebubbled)) "Ok, Card, I'm going with you. But i need to get supplies before we leave."

Noticing the shop was open but the staff seemed to not be there, Ha'zi quickly darts in. He grabs a pair of longsleeve shirts and pants, along with shorts. After he leaves the store, he goes around Rivendell grabbing bread, slices of meat, muffins, and water. He returns to Cardiloc, bagged supplies ready. 12700073

"Get me a sword and a bow." He called over to Dimitri as he left for a blacksmiths, then Cardiloc was doomed to waiting for the pair to get back. Then the Haradrim returned, finally. "We're still waiting on Dimitri, cmon climb on my back." He instructed Ha'Zi, moving his wing so he could clamber up.

"Ok." Ha'zi carefully climbs up his wing then sits upon the shifter's back. He begins to pull out his Mumakil book, but then decides to check out the other book he nabbed. When he sees that it is written in the weird writing from the pit, Ha'zi thinks to Keldar, "Hey, do you recognize any of this?" 12253360

When Dimitri returned with all his necessary provisions and weapons, the Dragon flew up and headed south towards Dunland. ((Any events leading up to this are time bubbled.))

"I'm going to the frontlines and I need stuff to prepare. What do you guys have? Any warhammers? Armor?" Dimitri asked. His old one was in great condition, but he wanted to see if he could get his hands on a second Elven one.

"We do not have hammers, but, armor..." the Noldorin Smith paused to reveal racks of armor stands behind him, "That we can do."

Dimitri had his pick of Noldorin armor. From the finest old gold plated steel to newer steel and iron forged chainmail and hauberk plate.

"Hmm, can't read this either, Ha'zi." Keldar said to the kid, mentally. "Try asking those elves. It seems to be Valarin."

---------

After about two hours of flight Cardiloc began to feel fatigued. He couldn't keep this up much longer and he still had not seen Dunlend. Yet, ahead of him he noticed ruins of some sort and wilderness. He could settle down there.

As Thoruk and Iver entered the gate they found the innards of Gundabad, abandoned of course. It was dark and dreary and cold drafts were buffeted and blocked by the stone walls of the mountain. Even in this state Thoruk could imagine the great halls and once lively forges of his people. Oh how far they had fallen...

Ahead of them were various winding passageways yet signs above them written in Khazadul made it clear which way they needed to head. The dungeons.

It was quiet when a noise interrupted them.
"What the fack?" Marco said, running out of the cold, freezing and pulling his clothes around him. He ran up and hugged Iver. The man seemed to have jumped off Iver's back when Thoruk did and was clearly regretting leaving the comfort and warmth of the huge bat.

When Deslan departed Rivendell, the journey was long and after three days of riding, on a horse the elves had offered him, since they no longer had need of such horses with so many departing or already having left Middle-Earth, he finally came upon the town of Bree. The last time he had been here he was caught for pickpocketing the Mayor's son. Would he take a pit stop here and perhaps sleep for the night in the Prancing Pony or would he continue onwards to Lindon.

The high pass was a windy and desolate place. It took Sigeric two days to finally reach its end and he emerged into an almost different world. The skies were untamed here and he saw eagles, giant eagles flying about, the mountains topped with clouds and resembling their name, the Misty Mountains. It was magnificent. Forests roamed the foothills and in the distance he saw the great river Anduin, far away. He did not have a horse yet ahead of him he saw one, wandering about the steppes of the land. Would be approach it and attempt to tame it?

The Noldorin Party left Rivendell with Daugo. The hobbit picked up quite a lot of handy information from them, on anything he asked it seemed they had an answer for. From the knowledge of the First Age to how to manage, grow and distribute a pipeweed empire.

The air grew colder around Pyrus and Azura. Around them various figures began to appear, simultaneously teleporting to them. After a minute there were about a hundred and thirty-two Ainur with them, though, none of which were Balrogs or Sauron or Werewolves. These were the dissidents of Valinor. Pyrus knew a lot of them. Anders, a Maiar of Irmo; Leslin, follower of Yavanna; Elios, a soldier of Ulmo. They had all fallen from grace like he had.

The last Ainur to appear was the most powerful among them. Morgoth Bauglir. He materialized in front of Pyrus and Azura and recognized the situation.
"What happened to the bones?" he asked them.

15756962

"My lord, I will not try to dampen the truth for I know only a worse punishment could come from it. Our quest was successful, we received few hardships and managed to get to the island. I was able to locate and pull out the sword with my magic and for nearly an hour Azura and I dug up the bones. As soon as we were about to depart was when the incident happened." He would swallow and briefly look back at Azura, then turning back he would continue. "Tulkas and my brother Eonwë had arrived, in the sudden arrival of them Tulkas managed to grab the bones. With Azuras quick thinking we managed to save the sword and bring it back to you." He would go on one knee and present the sword to Morgoth, lowering his head and staring at his feet.

"I know I may not be able to be forgiven for my failure but I have an idea that will give you a new ally, and a nation which the people of Middle Earth will deem as trustworthy. The giant shifters plan to gather the armies of the free people and bring them here, on there way they plan on all stopping at Minas Tirith. With the aid of my fellow brothers and sisters I believe that I can craft an object which will enable you to directly take control of the Reuinted Kingdoms King and use his nation as a resource."

"I also believe that with more help I could possibly weaken Tulkas if he were to come here and face you in combat." Pyrus would tell his king, his liege, his lord. All the while he would be slightly trembling, not from the sight of the sword, but from fear. Fear from what Morgoth could and would do to him. Failure was not tolerable, and those who do either suffer the concenquences, or they won't stay amongst the courts for much longer.

"Can't, go, anymore..." Cardiloc groaned as he began to descend, the best either Ha'zi or Dimitri could do was cling on tight as the dragon came to a mild crash before the ruins. Cardiloc transformed back and climbed out of the nape, collapsing from the effort.

Ha'zi and Dimitri saw the nape of the dragon open up and Cardiloc fell out, collapsing on the decomposing body of the dragon.

To their right was a ruin, some sort of ancient city, overrun with flora and overgrown. They had food, supplies for camping, a tent and some pillows from Rivendell. They could make camp in the ruin. The sun was setting and it would be good to set up camp, perhaps cook a meal and sleep. Cardiloc needed some good food.

All the Ainur were silent as they awaited Morgoth's actions. The Vala had yet to put on armor or sword and reached his hand down to touch the hilt of the blade, grasping it, lifting it in the air and gazing upon it. It was ebony from hilt to its tip and Morgoth's pale eyes reflected off the metal. This was the prophesized blade that would kill him. End him. Forever.

"Pyrus, do you know what the difference between a mistake and an error is?" He asked, twirling the blade around in his hand. It was tiny compared to his body and seemed like a dagger yet he wielded it properly. It had been too long since he had used a weapon.

Deslan pokes his head in Bree for the sake of it. No breaks for the night, just stopping by for a few minutes to see what happens.
12253360

Bree seemed perfectly fine. A few hobbits ran into the Prancing Pony. Would he go into the Prancing Pony for a drink or continue on his way?

The *dungeon was cold and empty, Iver had to climb down some spiral stairs to the bottom where the cells were...

Deslan shrugged and tied his horse in the inn's stables. A meal wouldn't hurt him... right?
