There were many dwarves going in and out of Erebor, the mighty dwarven gates wide open as Dalish caravans took wares to and fro. Thoruk saw many a dwarf gathered around the city and that the signs of the recent battles were still there. Some boulders had remained unmoved from being tossed by enemy siege artillery meanwhilst there were some burn marks that had remained in certain areas of the forest around the valley-floor.

The door opened after two minutes of waiting. A man in a bathrobe, with old grey hair and a entrepreneurs smile answered the door with a glass of wine in his hands, sipping it during the afternoon, "What do you want?" He asked looking at Iver and Marco. Iver had deja vu. He was looking at his father. A few exceptions. He had gotten fatter, much fatter, had greying hair and was still the rich asshole he had been years ago, with that churlish smile on his lips. He did not seem to recognize Iver.

Eomer's eyes were on Daugo. The hobbit felt as if he was being stared straight through. The King had yet to speak when the other Rohirrim began to argue.
"And we're supposed to believe this nonsense?"
"An island? Moooorgoth? What gibberish! Praise Bema for not letting this delusional blind us."
"There are tales of a Dark Lord before Sauron, an evil Master. So, he isn't making this up."
"Of course he is! Look at him. A hobbit with magiks that is attempting to deceive us into a fool's errand."
"Why would an Elven Lord vouch for him if he was incorrect?"
"Shut up you fools, the King is thinking. Allow him silence." Erkenbrand silenced them.
Eomer waited until they quieted down again.
"And you believe this Hobbit?" The King inquired to Celeborn.
"Yes. In Rivendell there was an incident where ancient beings with great power had attempted to stop the Hobbit and his companions. It resulted in the deaths of many of my fellow kinsmen. If we are to prevent more deaths, then I believe, we must stop this Dark Lord. Yes, I vouch for, Mister Daugo Burgins, for that is his name."
"And you?" Eomer turned to the Hobbit, "You partook in a ceremony to release this Dark Lord, did you not? How can I trust you not to be an agent of his?"

The Maia tried to dodge his swipe but the Dwarf Giant's claws were too quick and Dimitri cut him in half. His friend, enraged by this, began to burn. Her entire body, armor, everything melting off her as she turned into a fire spirit and flew into the air above Dimitri, letting loose a torrent of flames upon him. It was like raining fire and his skin burnt to the touch.
Ha'zi and Cardiloc were above the fight shortly and saw Dimitri getting plastered by some sort of fiery demon flying through the air.
Around him, multiple other Maia had begun to appear. A total of maybe twenty emerging from the forests.
Both the boys could see two people shackled at the front porch of a burnt house and three Maia standing over them.
"SURRENDER, KAROLTAI. AND WE SHALL SPARE THEIR LIVES!" The voice of one of the Maia boomed at them all. Ha'zi and Cardiloc could see that he had raised a sword above the neck of an old man and was awaiting an answer.

Sigeric experienced quite a set of memories. From some memorable ones of Berra and her friends being tortured, yes quite memorable indeed, to those of her using her abilities to build bridges in Angband between the Thangorodrim for Morgoth, then to others of her making sweet, sweet love to a certain Destroyer Giant Shifter, though, that relationship ended rather quickly. None of these memories gave any idea to what was happening to him. And the voices became louder as he approached Dale. People began to stream by. Men on barges sailing south to Dorwinion, riders on horses going west into Eryn Lasgalen, farmers, fisherman, villages and stablehands. He passed them all. Even merchants and soldiers. Eventually the voices reached a point where all Sigeric could hear was screaming. His head was about to explode from it all. He saw the city of Dale ahead of him, past Esgaroth upon the Longlake.
