VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"What about the other Giant you mentioned? Is it an enemy or on our side?" One of the men called out from the crowd.

Iver didnt find any reason to return into hall with all the other people, instead he decided to walk around the citadel.
He did so when idea came to him, maybe he could enter the king's hall, it should be empty.

The King's House was back up on the Citadel level.

Sigeric pictured the Armoured Giant in his mind, standing amidst the ruin of Dale's royal palace. A cold anger infiltrated his mind, though did not let his face betray it. "The giant which we met in Dale is our enemy. A servant of Morgoth, without a doubt. It is humanoid, and its entire body can be covered with plated armor, which it can shed to augment its mobility. If in Mordor, you see any giant that does not match the description of any of our own, assume the worst."

Crandil walked back on stage, "Any more questions?"

No hands raised. No shouts came.

"Is everyone understood?"

"YES, SIR!" The Gondorian members exclaimed loudly from the rear of the House of Orders. The elves merely nodded in acknowledgment.

"You may be dismissed. For everyone, there are rooms in the Barracks of the King which is down the road. You have the remainder of the day to rest, prepare and sleep for the journey tomorrow. Remember the goal. Relay intelligence. If we find Morgoth, repeat that information to Lord Celeborn and I and we shall make the decision whether or not to fight against the foe. No rash judgments. No rushing into a fight. UNDERSTOOD?!"

"YES, SIR!"

"DISMISSED!!"

The rows of Gondorians and Noldorin elves began to stand up and move out of the room in their orderly lines. Sigeric had just spoken in front of a thousand people without a sweat. It had been exhilarating but also daunting and stressful.

Iver saw the men and elves leaving and heading off in different directions.

Lord Celeborn, Glorfindel, Elladan, Elrohir, Zaro and the entire elven faction departed, heading towards the King's Barracks.

The Gondorians dispersed, going down towards the lower levels, with a few staying on the sixth.

Everyone else was left to ther own devices.

Marco stood up and looked up to Sigeric, "You had your fun in the spotlight, mate?" And offered him a hand down.

Dimitri stood, picked up his warhammer and left, looking for an illicit brothel.

Ela had fallen asleep throughout the entire meeting and yawned. Cardiloc saw she had dozed off. A question came to mind. What to do with her? She couldn't come with them and it was too dangerous to put her in harms way.

Ha'zi heard Miriel's voice, "So, that's the entire plan, huh. Just ride for two months in an empty Mordor. I don't think I'd find it fun, though, if its with you guys it might be. I might even get a chance to see that volcano they called Mount Doom and become acquainted with all your queer friends."

Iver entered after the soldiers left. Seeing the sleeping girl he whispered toward whoever was near him from the group "Why the fck did they let a child into the war meeting?

"Dunno. Guess she had nowhere else to be." He smirked at the Dalishman. "You look as if you could use a woman. I sure could. Wanna try our luck at Minas Tirith's brothels? It's been... far too long for me."

"I didnt know hobbits go for humans, but we can try" He said before stopping and looking at the little hobbit "Wait a minute, do you even have money?" he asked the little wanker 13527980

Zaro went to his amazing room and put down his large chain flail, some daggers, and some other stuff. He emerged from his room with only a few daggers concealed and a chain whip positioned on his side.
Zaro then headed to the armory to get a few weapons that were less light than his previous equipment. This gondor iron isn't like what we had back home, but it will have to do. Zaro found a unique spear he liked and tested it out "Wow. What a long tooth pick." Zaro found another spear and grabbed a medium shield. Zarod then picked up a few light daggers and then exited the armory. Zaro then studied the map of mordor and formed strategies in his room and occasionally practiced his knife throwing and combat.

"At this point I'd go for an elf girl," he replied. His face acquired a most innocent expression at Iver's question, his mouth a little agape. "I honestly dunno. Do you? In any case, I spent twenty years scamming the hobbits of the Shire. Shouldn't be too hard to scrape up a bit of coin in the streets."

Harros joined Zaro and sparred with him. Both were equally matched in combat before Zaro pulled a sly move with his knives and pinned his elven friend. There was not much to do aside from continuing practice and sleep for the upcoming adventure. Perhaps he could visit Glorfindel, Celeborn or even the twins (Elladan and Elrohir).

"Fam, you are thinking in small. I scammed people all over the middle earth for a coin, but thats not the point. Lets just say that I myself have enough coin for us to have a good time" He said with a grin, "Call marco and meet me outside the soldier's barracks, I need to leave my shorter spears somewhere else" He said and left to find a place to store his equipment.

Marco was waiting for Sigeric to take his hand but apparently, the Siberian Noble was too stubborn to accept the hand from a lowly Gondorian. He retracted it and turned around to notice Daugo, "'Ey, Daugo, long time, no see. How ya doin'?"

13527980

((God damn it, I just had to go AFK for a few minutes.))

Sigeric took Marco's hand, and stepped down from the stage. "Fun isn't something one considers when fighting against Morgoth. But this... does put a smile on my face." Marco would have to assume that Sigeric was speaking figuratively, since he was not in fact smiling. Sigeric looked down and noticed Daugo. "I did not see you at the feast, Master Burgins. I trust that your journey from Rivendell went well?"

Closing his eyes Pyrus would take three deep breaths and open his eyes. Long gone was the throne room and it's inhabitants, instead swaying before him was the fire. His fire. Once a stranger to him but now a friend he commonly visited, walking forward he patted the sides of the flame, the holder of who he was and what he held. Gripping the sides with both of his hands he would pull himself inside, ignoring the quick spike of heat and excitement. Once inside it was like a different world. All around him was the flames of his soul, so close, yet also so far. He reached for the sides but they only pulled away higher and higher. With a chuckle he looked forwards to the many pathways.

The pathways, the carved by and for himself so he wouldn't get lost revealed to him his past and present, what he saw and what he did. Taking a path on the right with the floor of cobblestone he journey across memory lane. Memories hidden or forced behind doors of stone, wood, metal, and more banged against them, eager for Pyrus to remember, to feel.however he would not let them be tempted, he knew what he put back their. The memories of a father and mother whom he executed in front of their children before killing them, the fight at the Doors of Day where he killed his long lost brother, countless others of what he had done. Closing his eyes he would continue to walk forward, feeling around for the door he was looking for, finally as he rounded a corner and opened his eyes he saw it.

A large wooden door the color of the night sky and the grassy plains, engraved in gold and silver and a symbol of a bird as its handle. Walking forward he grasped the handle and pulled, opening the memory to himself. Long ago this door had served him another purpose, what he thought and wished freedom was. But now it served as a reminder for how it feels to be free. He focused on his friends, the sky, the newly formed rivers and tress, the forge, but he focused on only one memory. Feeling himself travel current Pyrus stood on a hill in the middle of no where. He saw his past self riding across these hills and plains at a quick distance, eager to get away from wherever he had come. Eventually he slowed his pace, letting his horse get some rest before continuing on his journey.

A distant caw drew both current and past Pyrus of their attentions the sun was falling and and streaking above them was a bird, a hawk to be more specific lazily riding the air waves heading to...tomorrow. A place unknown to most and can be a treasure or a disgrace. Both of them watched as the hawk flew to the sunset, the gold and red eventually taking its form. It was this memory in which he drew power upon for his wings.

"Ela," He leaned over her body, snapping his fingers to wake her. "Let's find some rooms." Once his sister was fully awake, the Dunlending headed over to where Miriel and Ha'zi were. "Should we head to the barracks now?" He asked the pair.

"It would be fun, albeit a bit dangerous. Are you sure you'd want to join us?" Ha'zi asks. He then sees Card with Ela coming over and replies to the Dunlending, "Uh, why the barracks?"

"Hullo Marco, good to see you," he said, before turning to the other Dalishman. "It was a solemn affair, as we all brought tidings of doom and despair," he told Sigeric in his most elvish voice. "But this here is not. We're going to scour the Minas for some brothels, Iver's treat. Dunno if he'll pay for you too, Sig, but you're welcome to come. You look like someone that desperately needs some womanly care."
