A closer look at The Battle of the Five Armies
First lets look at the Dwarf Army.

Now using many photos (I will show a few examples) I discovered they had:

2,528 infantry (Estimated 1,264 pikeman, 480 swordsman, and 784 axeman)




Now after looking at the extended edition, I discovered the Dwarves in this version had:
2,880 Dwarf Infantry and 600 Goat Cavalry (Estimated 1440 Pikeman, 960 Axeman, and 480 Swordsman)


Finally, they had 8 ballistas and 4 war chariots - which are seen in the extended edition only.

Finally, the total number is
2,880 + 13 (ThorinsCo) + 1 (Dain) + 12 (3 per chariot) + 80 (10 operators per ballista) + 600 (Cav) =
2,986 Dwarves

The Elves had:

(Estimated 1,940 Spearman, 3,000 Archers, 672 Swordsman, 448 Heavy Swordsman/Knights with silver armor but aren't seen up close, 10 General's Bodyguard cav seen at the start of the movie, 1 Elf king)

Useless fact: after 4 months of studying, I have concluded that Osgiliath has a small bridge to the north and a bigger bridge to the south with the dome connected because the film often uses shit angles and its impossible to tell
