I can hardly believe this is happening. For those of you that don't know I have been doing Vee Arnis JiuJitsu ever since I was in the third grade. I achieved a junior black belt in 2012 and have been one for 4 years. The age for becoming a senior black belt is 17. However the grandmaster of our system (David James) who is also the direct successor of the founder (Grandmaster Florendo Visitacion) decided to bestow unto me an early promotion. This is no laughing matter as he is a very strict person that is dead set on following tradition and preserving the system left over to him but apparently he knows I can rival most of the other sensei's in the dojo already.

I'm getting a senior black belt 2 years early and I can hardly process it!
