Ew's end or a awesome continuation?

I've heard Ew has 10 days left before it is permanently shut down. This cannot be Empire Wars fate , Empire War has been an awesome Lotr Minecraft Server for years. Many popular servers have died due to money shortage. For example, MCPVP.COM - A extremely popular and amazing pvp+ server with thousands of users. It even had maze runner game which is the best Mazer Runner Game you could find in minecraft. One day they they completely shutdown because they ran out of money and handed their best game Capture the flag to MCBRAWL It use to be MCpvp.com now its just brawl a completely other server that may be suffering from money loss too - another popular server. Another, EMT - Easy Minecraft Tutor, A very popular and fun survival server. I played this close to it's birth until I was banned. I had several friends so many creations and buildings. I wouldn't let myself forget the server so I payed for another account just to see my friends and the server once more. I was able to play the server more but my joy didn't last long. I couldn't tell my best friend: Story Lift I was shanespike(my old name) because staff could see it. So I kept my identity as a random friend. One day I heard story lift was leaving because he did everything he wanted to do. I wanted to tell him I was Shanespike but I couldn't - staff were online. So he left and later that day I was banned while messing around. (I was very immature back then) Somedays later I discovered EMT was shutdown because they ran out of money. StoryLift was lost for years, after a long time of tracking him I found him on a empire server and he was a completely different person. His happy, nice, and friendly personality left him now he was just a swearing jerk. Empire War cannot be erased like so many others before it. Remember the beginning of EmpireWar, a small and nice community with a full lotr experience. It grew to this amazing server we call EW. If it shuts down there is no coming back and many friends will be split apart that may never again meet. So will you let Ew fall and pretend to forget it or help us start a combined effort to fix Ew into the awesome Ew we use to know.
 
Well, I am indeed saddened to know that we may well be living Empire War's last days, but there seems to be little that can be done to save it; donating will just delay the inevitable. Tim appears to have lost any motivation that remained for this server, and has already stated that he won't do anything to stop its demise; so let it end quickly, then. Its decay has been prolonged enough.

I see however a glimer of hope in the Build server. It appears to be going to stay for a while, and has highly-motivated and capable staff that have actual power to change things. If--when Empire War falls, I will find comfort in my memories of it, and in the fact that though it won't be the same, Build will be there.

Well yeah, but at least he doesn't have a monopoly on power there and the actually motivated people can do things.

As far as I know, Tim won't be doing anything in terms of staffy stuff on build. Mainly just me, gele and Lock.
 
If you want to continue playing siege (the build server might not be fun for some people) then try joining talesofwar.net , it has an upcoming moria map and has similar pvp style. (dont ban for advertisement pls)

Tim EW had a time like this before..and you fixed it by going against EULA. Pleade I beg you, just go against EULA for a few months and see what happens.

Worst thing that can happen; Your server gets closed, the event that you want to start yourself. So, virtually nothing can go wrong or be done to fuck up.
 
The problem is not EULA but the fact that tim is no longer that interested in running EW.

I highly disagree with many of his decisions, particularly since the closure of the RP server, but the server is ultimately his. That said I think the effort of EW's entire staff team should be recognised for their achievements.
