First Session of the Bards

Objection, Eastern Chief.
I believe Dale would like to hold territory down to the Carnen, and I support this claim. However, I do not object to all the way to the Carnen.
Also, another objection: Dwarves live in the Orocarni, four tribes of them. They are not Longbeard, but they are Dwarves, and I would not see their mountains usurped.

And thanks, Leo. :)

I'm fine with the Orocarni. I'd just like some of that river, I don't care how much. It would be good for trade and maybe attack. (only Dale)

I decree that the Easterling empire may make use of the two southernmost rivers which hath their source in the western side of the Red Mountains, and that they may establish trading posts, outposts, and villages along its banks in an area up to and not exceeding twenty miles from each bank. However, all passage along these waterways up to the point at which they intersect shall be tolled, with the proceeds coming in tribute to the king of the Dwarves.

I'm not saying I don't respect you as much as Thu, I think you should both lead it, it's just you don't really have the authority to decide who's what in terms of leaders, I don't dislike the bards as a whole, there's just a few bards in your little group, (You're not one of them, you were good when I played before) that I dislike and it was because of them that I stopped doing the RP things with you guys. And also, Dimitri, you just need to propose an alliance, and you'll get a peace treaty with that, no need to propose them both. :P

You're a bard. <.<

And Ds, this is non-canon. I know you want to see us burn, but please use valid arguments.

Ok. I agree to both of those comments.

Now, there is the matter of the bards' headquarters ((in-character, not on EW)). I suggest Orthanc. It's perfect - impenetrable, in case we found ourselves under assault from ds_nine, who I have heard has sworn to destroy us ((not rlly but close 'nuff)). It also contains a palantir, and is already essentially neutral ground, as the Ents steward it.
I propose these points:

That Nan Curunir and thus Isengard be made neutral territory, controlled by none but stewarded by the Ents, while Orthanc itself is stewarded by the bards.
That Orthanc be made headquarters of our order, and that we restrict use of the palantir to one every two months, and then only by a high member of the order.
That no one faction may, at any time, occupy Nan Curunir, nor claim it as its own. If this should happen, then all other factions should rise up and drive them out.
That Nan Curunir be renamed Nan Maitar, Vale of Tales, and Isengard be made Ost-en-Golde, Tower of Knowledge.

I like this idea, but none would support our control of such a powerful place. We have a perfectly good headquarters in Minas Tirith, I suggest we stay there to not upset anyone (cough) ds and or Leo.
However, I love the idea.
What is Barad-Hen? I cannot find a reference to it anywhere.

Hold on, am I under Thu since I am the Captain of the Longbeards, or am I a captain of an independent party of Dwarves?
