First Session of the Bards

No good orcs have been around since the sleep of Lady Yavanna. The trolls could be a strong ally. Still, the Keepers ranks are growing, in the form of new warriors and mercenaries.

The day a member of this council makes peace with an Orc is the day I withdraw from the council and go to war.

I in fact do believe we can tame orcs, they can be powerful soldiers, should the dark power morgoth arise
*Shudders*
They can help us, I mean in the mines of moria, the orcs there have been living with balrogs... Eventually we should
either tame fellbeasts or balrogs should the chance be given, Yet those are low odds, I do support Beepbobit it making
allies with orcs and possibly using them for good.

Fine, Suit yourselves, we will attempt to take Gundabad, though the spirits warn against it. I believe its fate lies with the Orcs, not the dwarves

Okay, how about we give the western Gundabad Mountains to the Keepers, the eastern mountains will be liberated by the dwarves, and the area along the western Misty Mountains is given the master of Rivendell?

Gondor, like they always have, but I hope that this council shall forge new alliances, assisting Gondor. In fact, I propose a Gondor Assistance movement. This movement will include:

The delivery of four boatloads of goods from each of the signees of this document, the goods varying from party to party (Erebor has much mineral wealth and good weapons, while the Shire has foodstuffs).
A company of 100 troops from each party which the signees represent shall be sent to Osgiliath to assist in the military defense.
We shall sign treaties of mutual aid, should Mordor attack.

Sadly, the Dwarves can only comply with the first two points, unless the war is extremely drawn-out, as it would take us months to journey to Gondor. But we shall try, nonetheless.

This is all well and good, but who will control the West Coast? Great wolves roam the Shire, and I fear their Shiriffs and Bounders won't be enough to hold them back. If my Lord ThuBioNerd would permit it, I would go with a force of fellow Longbeards to Ered and make routine patrols around the Shire. Goblins also roam Eriador and the Blue Mountains, and we will need to be vigilant in keeping them in order. My liege ThuBioNerd and my fellow bards, what say you to this proposition?
-Rhadgar, Captain of the Longbeards

I suggest we find a leader for the Dunedain of Arnor. They would be an effective fighting force - few though they are - especially with help from Imladris, but they are scattered and require a leader. I shall make an application.

The queen of the forgotten kingdom could be a potiental candidate for the leader of the rangers. She has great skill with the bow and could use something to do.

So does that mean no to my suggestion?

See, Oranj, Dwarves stick to themselves, especially in circumstances such as these. No Dwarf would ever march all the way from Ered Luin to the Ettenmoors just to fight a few skirmishes that would end in deadlock. It's just not in-character. Elves and rangers for Angmar, Dwarves for Goblins. ;-) Don't worry, I have some super cool things planned.
