New Minecraft EULA

GUYS. DO THIS.
Donate so and so for in-game points.
Then, after you have enough points, you can buy stuff in the points section, like *cough* commander *cough* and *cough* Nazgul *cough*.

OK, in the US at least, this is illegal. Not the part about Mojang restricting the money that other people make off their own product/service; that's completely reasonable. The illegal part is taking away the perks and powerups that people ALREADY bought without giving them a full monetary refund. That is criminal. That is stealing. And they can't force all the server owners to refund their players, because the server owners may not have the money anymore.

They can't go through with this...the madness will end eventually, for some reason or another. Until then, I recommend that we try to lie low. Tim, we should probably try to hid/erase any evidence that EW still offers in-game perks for money. We may need to close donations for a while. Just hold out as long as possible, and if they come for us...then just give in and remove it all. I don't want to see EW in legitimate legal trouble, because that would just not be fair to the staff.

Guys, Tim has said multiple times that he can support the server on his own, he needs donations for the extra anti-lag stuff. Also, if Tim doesn't give us a full refund, we have plenty of storage donations that can keep the server afloat.

My friend said that you can still have the donations if every price for donations is the same... I didn't think that's what it meant though

And Inf, I wouldn't dream of a refund. I payed good money, and got what I payed for, it was just cut short. Tim won't be getting any money, so I don't want him to have to give us money when he's in the fix.
Nor, I assume, do any of you *glares at other donors*

or... we could simply ask mojang with a professional letter for permission to host a server like this. its a option just saying they said yes to hypixel why not us? its a option worth trying
This is what we have to do. If this does not work, then minecraft as we know it will be doomed. I am gonna shoot the fuckers who came up with this BS EULA stuff. I spent good money on the game and I don't even care what they say or not. In fact, we should have the right to sue Mojang for taking away our property that we got from donations.
