Olog hai

god god god
in the movies the uruks take the ram to the keep gate, why dont do tht with the same mechnics of gate repairing / wall 's explosion?

-to hard to code
~~ Tibbles 0-2014
-_- He doesn't because it doesn't really fit on the bridge

yes i have had many a game where there have been like 20 urks and 10 of them are ologs LIMIT THE PLS

and armor trolls had stone sword, and more strenght (strenght got nerfed from str 3 to str 1 on all trolls)

[quote user_id="2931363" avatar="https://cravatar.eu/helmavatar/Mr_CookieSmurf/74.png" name="Mr_CookieSmurf"]Without the Olog-hai, the Uruks would never have enough pushing power to capture the keep/caves.

Also, why make a suggestion when Tibbles is in Rome? Not very smart if I may say so :I
That's the point. Even with a whole team of orcs, they rely completely on this noob class to power through. Adding a heavy Orc class is realistic and also ologs couldn't even fit through the keep entrance! Nor did one ever step foot In the foot... Ologs are relied, because they are OP as hell. Why not remove them and just add a realistic Orc class instead of keeping this noob class

Yes, and I rely on the Adc to deal damage, the Jungler to gank, the support to support (What a suprise) and the midlaner not to feed.

Relying on a single person/role is completely normal. Every role has it's purposes, and Olog-hai's purpose is to bash the gate and push through the keep and the caves.

Mordor needs some pushing power to cap the keep, and if trolls can't get in, their chances are screwed. That's why we replace Olog hai with a class similar in strength, no rocks, but gets an arrow shield. It would be more lore supported, but Olog hai can be used during the charge though, as that would be lore supported.

But the fact that they rely on a class that isn't even lore supported in that area bugs me, it is like reling on a Robot made of diamonds to make Gondor win Minas tirith... (If Tim could add it$ I'm fine with people reling on troll, but troll on this map isn't lore supported, and that is my problem reling on a not realistic and lore supported class. See my point?

Not at all. Lore is very important on servers completely based off something, and the fact that one team relies on a not even realistic nor lore supported class to win a map is just bull shit. Adding a uruk hai shieldman to bash would work perfectly, and I do not know why tim hasn't at least added a class to replace olog hai. In a way, replacing Olog-Hai is common sense, since in real life, a 14 foot plus or taller object could not fit through a 10 foot tall opening, which most 4th graders should understand perfectly. Not to mention that in Lore, the thing that the server is based off, (without it there would be no LOTR E.W.) doesn't even approve of having Olog-Hais in the fortress, since they never stepped foot in there. Ologs also are so heavily relied on that without them the Uruks could not power through the caves. This MUST be changed.

Uruk Shieldman(Voter)

Iron Chest, Leggings, and Boots.

Stone Axe sharp 1 (can vote for sharp 2)

Shield (like the dwarven one)

5 pork

Ability to bash gates

Slowness 2, Resistance 1

(I did the math, so basically it is a slightly buffed half troll with a shield. Should work perfectly, since in Lore the orcs who bashed the gate carried shields to deflect the arrows)

The way I see it is this:

We needed a class to counter royal guard and to an extent, elven archer. It was easier for tibbles to copy and paste code from troll and rename it Olog Hai that it was to code an entirely new class.
royal guard is the least op melee point class there is. any decent archer can kill it with ease.
normal soldiers have more armor than it. it trades about 1 armor point for 1 attack point.
trolls don't counter elven archer.... elven archers can grind threw trolls so fast. you simply arrow spam 5 times into the troll and its dead. instead of 3 times for a soldier.
